Can't get the Apple Loops to download

In garage band 08', I open up my loops panel and click on any of the loops. It then says, "The software instrument or Apple Loop selected is not currently installed on your computer. Would you like to install the complete set of Garage Band instruments and loops?" My options are "Download Now", "Download Later", and "Install from DVD". The description of "Download Now" says, "Choose download now to download and install the additional content via the internet using Software update. I click "OK" and it takes me to Software Update. Here is where the problem is: it checks for updates, and then it says "Your software is up to date. Software update doesn't have any new software for your computer at this time." I go back to garage band, and it tells me the same thing as before (which is to update using Software Update). Its kinda weird, cause it tells me to download via Software Update, yet software update says there are no new updates. I've tried many things myself, but I can't figure out a way to download the Apple Loops for garageband. Somebody, please help me.

Try using the loops again-When the dialog box opens, choose "install from DVD". You'll be walked through the steps (loops are on disc 2), restart & you're good to go. I did not need to trash any existing files. BTW my machine is only 3 days old. The loops are a blast to work with.

I get the error that the computer can't get the apple mobile usb driver to install so it won't show up on my computer or in itunes.It actually says Device Driver Software Not Sucessfully installed. Apple Mobile Device USB Driver failed. I'm using windows 7 which is fully updated, I have downloaded the newest itunes and also uninstalled and reinstalled it ans all of its components. I have followed every guide to sync your device to the computer and itunes, none of it has worked. I have unplugged my computer and tried it, I have taken the battery out of the computer and waited a few minutes and tried it. I have even gone into Device Manager looked under universal USB controllers and see an exclamation point next to the apple driver where its not working. I can click on it and tell it to look for the newest software and it says it's up to date and still not working. I have tried ever single usb advice or apple advice I can find over the last 3 hours and nothing is working. Please someone help me. I need to restore my ipad and I can't get it to show in itunes! please someone help!

Unfortunately the Apple TV doesn't have a web browser so you can't do that.

i purchased a cd but when downloaded to my computer some of the tracks was missing how can i get the missing tracks to download???

On computer go into iTunes store, in the Quicklinks section click on purchased, go to music not on this computer and you should find all music still in the cloud.
On phone open music, choose store at top of screen, then choose the More option at bottom of next screen, look in downloads where anything waiting to download should be. If nothing there go to Purchased, click on Music, Not on this Phone and you should see any iTunes music you have bought that is not downloaded to the phone.

You can include the loops as part of your own soundtrack. But that soundtrack must be an original work. You cannot redistributed the loops by themselves. You have to make some new composition with them.

I am having issues setting up my appletv. I made the error of setting it up without having itunes on my computer. I can't get the remote to work, the light isn't on the box, and I can't get it to reset to factory default. I don't have a "-" key on my remote. I held the menu button down with every button on the remote without success.

Your Apple TV may have become paired with another remote. Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on screen.

Bluetooth in the AppleTV is for connecting to Bluetooth keyboards, and also for Airplay device discovery only.
Unless your sofa supports Airplay (unlikely) or has a bluetooth keyboard, your AppleTV won't be able to connect to it.

Can I relocate the Apple Loops & Index folder to another drive?

There's like 10GB of Apple Loops on my boot drive. I would LOVE to move all of that stuff off to a data drive. Is there a PLIST file or something that tells SoundtrackPro, etc where this treasure-trove of stuff is located - or is it hardwired to be in the Library folder on the boot drive?

Loops reside in a few files.
/Library/Audio/Apple Loops
~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops (if you installed any thiord party guys)
The index files are here:
/Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index
~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index
To move the loops to an external drive:
1. Move all of the loops from the Apple Loops folders above and move them to the external drive.
2. Delete all of the Index files.
3. Use the Loop Browser to reindex the loops from the new drive.
Be sure to drag the loops as individual folders (in other words if you store them in a folder called loops and then have groups of loops under that) if you don't, you will have one large group instead of several smaller ones. It makes it easier to find what you want.
