Can't get the Kodak 5100 printer to work with air port

Any one know how to get the Kodak 5100 to work from air port on this Time Capsule. I have tried all the other things I have read but this thing will not print. I run a network diagnostics and it tells me server failed. And the way I feel Apple can take the Time Capsule back, so many problems took two days to get it up and running. Did Apple make this peice of junk.

well, what have you tried?
did you delete your printer from the printer list (- sign), and re-add it (+ sign)?

was the user error, or TC's fault? you got it working, so it doesn't sound like it was TC.

Can't get the Toslink (Optical) out to work with Airport Express

I have the monster cable hooked up but get no optical out. I hooked up the mini plug to RCA and that works but the optical doesn't. Is there a setting I'm missing. I know the cable is working because I hooked it up to my mini computer and get the red light coming out the end. I don't get any light from the airport expess mini plug to Toslink.

Same problem here. Just bought an optical cable with the mini toslink connector (to work with the express and computers). I can get audio if I connect the cable to my computer, but no audio from the express. Regular analog audio comes out fine, but I cannot get the optical to work.
I can't find any preference or setting to change and have tried resetting the base station. Anyone have an idea?

I can get the 'scrub' wheel to work in play mode...but not in stop mode..to make fine adjustments.
I read elsewhere that the mackie wheel simply doesnt work with adobe.

Hi Cornelius,
At the top right corner of the Sequencer is a button that will let you select which MIDI controller devices you wish to enable. You can then select the channel this device is listening on from the MIDI IN dropdown on the track that hosts your VSTi. (The MIDI IN selection is an arrow pointing to the right.) For testing purposes, it may be simplest to select ALL for now.
You should then be able to use your controller to trigger and control the VSTi on that track.
If I've misunderstood your question, please elaborate.

I see you do not wish to purchase the adapter online and are having difficulty locating one locally. I Googled DVI adapter at Staples.com and they carry the cables. You can try any computer shop or office depot, staples any place like that, they usually carry the accessories, if not if you spoke with a sales person, they would most likely order it for you. They would also be able to assist you with getting the correct cable for your situation. They also produce cables with different connection on either end, you could also check into.

How can I get the keyboard program InKey to work with InDesign?

I use InKey to type special characters, particularly underlined vowels, for another language. This has worked fine in Microsoft Word with most Unicode fonts. However in InDesign, the underlines do not line up under the letter; or, more commonly, they just display as a pink space or box after the letter. Simply using the Underline format on these letters is not sufficient to be able to check their spelling.

Anyhow: your sample font was Times New Roman. If you can't see the combining glyphs, then you're using an out-of-date version of the font, or something else is wrong. . Did you maybe start your work on a contemporary version of Word in WIndows, and now you've shifted to using a Mac with an older version of Office? THere are plenty of nulls in TNR (which are usually codepoints not in Unicode, usually a sign of some kind of hacky workaround on the part ofthe font designer). There should be a real combining macron below right about here, in between the crazy upper Latin and the Greek caps :
So I'd want to know: what font are you using for this? If not TNR, then I'd suggest Gentium. I might even suggest dropping TNR for Gentium. Judging by your screen name, you may well already be aware of SIL. If not - oh hey, they make fonts for people who are in your shoes! Go check 'em out. The fonts are free, and pretty reliable. And Gentium may already have a precomposed with-line-below glyph for your typesetting needs.
The Kerning dropdown lets you adjust the spacing between letters in a letter-by-letter way. Selecting all of your text and picking "Metrics" is the way to go here - unless you are a designer who thinks that the capital D is way too far away from the lowercase i, and want to tweak the kerning manually. "Optical" is for large font sizes where body-text-style kerning is too spacious. Avoid using it at small font sizes.

Can I get the Line in signal to work with a 5:1 speaker set

I have recently connected my turntables via a mixer to the line in on my soundblaster audigy 2 NX. When I play records the sound only works through the left and right front speakers. I have messed arounsd with speaker settings but it doesn't make any difference. All other audio will work through the surround sound when played from the computer. Is there any way of telling the software that the line in is to be converted to surround sound?

For an example my sound card for my PC is Game Theater XP 5. and after 6 months using the card th driver now supports line in stereo sound extension to 5..
So i think a Sound Blaster (as my favourite sound card) should have this feature too :-)

You do not have to understand it for it to be so.
You can try asking Kodak, as they make the app.

Just sounds the ding, alert, can still slightly navigate the program but can not use any other tools after clicking warp text. I just have to open task manager and close the program. not sure if I'm doing something wrong or maybe I just need to uninstall and re install. Having trouble finding out how to uninstall and reinstall because the program came pre installed on my desktop.

It actually sounds like the warp text window is opening off screen.
Resetting the photoshop elements 10 preferences should fix it.
*Press and hold the Shift+Ctrl+Alt keys just after you start the launch of the photoshop elements 10 editor
*Keep holding the keys down until you get a dialog asking if you want to delete the adobe photoshop elements setting file
*Press Yes

Try forcing iPhoto to load the Library on the External Hard drive by launching it while holding down the Option key. Choose the Library on the External HD, and quit iPhoto, see if iMovie can see the Library with the iPhoto Videos contained inside.

I can't get the patch select buttons to work in edit mode. When I select any template, the set buttons or the patch buttons don't work at all. My up and down arrows work fine but I need the on screen buttons to be assigned to my footswitch.

In edit mode, at concert level, select the pedal. Then in the screen control inspector, in the mappings tab, select actions>next patch.
