Can't get the preorder thing right!

I preordered Dragon Age:Inquisition on 9/21/14. I purchased the game on 11/18, but never received the $10 certificate. I also preordered GTA V on 11/17/14, but decided not to pick it up. When the CSR at Best Buy tried to return the preorder, they could not and said that I would have to call Best Buy corporate to get my money back. It seems like more often, than not; when I preorder from BestBuy I have some typ of issue.

Thanks for writing in, and thank you for being a My Best Buy member.  We are happy to have you as a Gamers Club Unlocked member.  I am sorry to hear of the trouble you have run into with your recent pre-orders, but I will be happy to provide some information that may help clear up those concerns.  
Dragon Age: Inquisition was not a part of our "Get $10" promotion, so pre-ordering and purchasing would have awarded you a pre-order digital bonus, but it would not result in the added $10 My Best Buy certificate.
In-store pre-orders are not automatically refunded as they would be for a BestBuy.com pre-order, so I regret that your GTA: V pre-order is now cause for added concern.  As it was a deposit paid in-store, you would need to return to the store to request a refund.  That said, as the return period for in-store purchases has now passed I would recommend you speak with a store manager about your refund request for this game that you never fulfilled.

    I actually interpreted this as a carrier lock issue.  If that is the case the OP needs to contact the UK carrier who owns the rights to lock the iPhone.  Only that carrier can unlock it. 
    Was the iPhone unlocked by means of jailbreak software? If that is the case, then the reply from Phil McCafrey would apply to this as well.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
    Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)
    If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

    I've shot HD footage using my Canon HF200 camcorder in MXP mode which is 1920x1080 24 Mbps.
    I'm trying to generate video for web and followed the instructions/settings in this thread:

    However, the footage comes out stretched vertically -- if I was bald, I'd look like a cone-head - slight exeggeration but you get the idea :-)
    I'm confused about that. 1920x1080 is a 16:9 ratio. So is 1280x720. Why is my footage getting distorted?

    I'd like to revive this thread as I'm still struggling to find the right output setting for my videos. To recap:
    My camera is a Canon Vixia HF200. I'm shooting HD videos at the highest setting to keep the quality high i.e. MXP which is 24Mbps at 1920 x 1080.
    My frame rate is currently set to PF30. Looks like camera's default setting is 60i.
    I'm trying to produce crystal clear videos for the web that will play at sizes at 768x576.
    Currently, my problem is being able to find the correct setting
    In PrE 8, I start with AVCHD Full HD 1920 x 1080 30  5.1 channel setting for the project -- see screen shot above.
    My current issues are these:
    1. Takes too long to output videos in a format that's acceptable by my video provider i.e. QuickTime, MPEG, etc. With no editing whatsoever, my 14 min video takes 1hr 50 min to render as QuickTime at 1280 x 780, 100% quality.
    2. The final output file is too large. I realize that I'll always end up with large files because I'm shooting HD and want best quality videos. However, I feel that I can get the file size to be much smaller than it currently is.
    When I followed the QuickTime settings suggested at this thread http://forums.adobe.com/thread/623549?tstart=0 by John Cloudman, my audio went out of sync.
    I experimented with MPEG setting in PrE 8 which seems to give me the quickest results but a larger file size. So, I'm trying to find the best output setting for my videos.

    Yes, I added those LC_whatever=en_GB.UTF-8 earlier today as it was one of proposed solutions, but it did not help.
    They are located in /etc/profile.d/_locales.sh

    Go into Settings>Mail,Contacts, Calenders then you need to click on your email and make sure you have the thing next to the word notes switch on.
    Then they should sync over the iCloud

    There is a way, but it may not be supported for ever... If you want the old download manager back, go to about:config, click the I'll be careful, I promise! button. Then search for "download", and set the browser.download.useToolkitUI preference to true (double-click it).

    Create a developer account, then access he developers forums and see if you can find the information that way 
    The other option would be to simply contact Apple directly.

    My name is Johan and I want to generate an analog square waveform with 5.76 kb/s in frequency with my NI DAQCard-6062E from Matlab.
    When I run in Matlab the program below, I get the frequency of 5.747 kb/s on the output channel (even thou I have chosen 5.76 kb/s). When I try to change the sample rate, to higher values in Matlab, I get the same frequency until I choose the sample rate to 5.79 kb/s. The output signal is in that case is 5.813 kb/s.
    So my problem is that I can't get the exact frequency of 5.76 kb/s.
    How do I solve this.

    I am able to get the 'Home sharing' 'user and password on my Mac.
    Also using IPad 2 I am able to get the ITunes to accept the user name and same password as the Mac.
    However, the only way I can see the 'Home sharing; icon is in Music on the Ipad. When I tap on the Icon it asks for a password.
    When I give the same password, it is rejected.

    Personally I think the iOS devices are poor at reconnecting  - Airplay establishes that a link is available but when the iPhone/iPad has been away from the house and rejoins the network i think AppleTV already thinks it's connected with a different IP address and fails to recognise it has joined the network again with new credentials.
    Something along those lines anyway.
    I find that a combination of restarting AppleTV, router and iOS device tends to fix it, but not for everyone.

    Normally if a Mac does not recognize a keyboard it asks you to press certain keys to identify the keyboard. What is happening on screen with this keyboard? What serial number are you referring to?

    What specific information would you need?  The program was working just fine early yesterday morning and than when I came back in the afternoon to edit  some more pictures that is when I wasn't able to see the full image anymore.  It is providing me with all of the editing options as if the picture is there but it is just a blank screen with the thumbnail pic showing in the right panel.
