Can't get there frome here... (CSS button not working)

Hi All,
can someone look here and let me know why my 'Service' button only works once? When you drill down to, say... "Project Management," the service button from all subpages will not work. You have to goto another banner/header option (ex: about us) and click "Service" again to get to the main service page once more.
FYI: Novice with CSS - this is a store bought template

This is really a ActionScript (Flash) question since your Primary Navigation is Flash. The AS (ActionScript) is coded to disable after clicking to it's parent page.
Since the child pages are under the parent the nav is still disabled. You would have to recode the AS (Flash Nav) to enable when navigationing to it's child page.

Okay, so here's the deal. I've authored a delightful software
manual in
Word. Now I want to bring it into RH X5 with the option of
outputting both
.CHM and .HLP (preferably WinHelp 2000).
* If I import my .DOC file into RH for Word, it loses the
complex structure
and doesn't have any way for me to recreate it easily. I'd
have to recreate
the TOC and index from scratch (and in the Word document, the
TOC and index
each cover three full pages). Not only that but the import
process seems to
have lost all of the graphics... almost every topic has a
screen capture and
they're all gone after a six-hour import process... wahhhh!!!
All of the
graphics in the document file are linked by reference. The
import process
seems to have converted all of my .GIF references to .BMP
references with
the .BMP references apparently non-functional.
* If I import my.DOC file into RH HTML, it retains the
complex structure
but ignores the "non-traditional" heading styles in the
original document. I
have a number of heading styles that were created from the
default heading
styles but with variations on the formatting or just a
slightly different
name so I can exclude them from the Word TOC. So yes, they
actually are
heading styles. However when importing the .DOC file, RH
presents a list of
style choices to make topics from and those aren't in the
list and there's
no way to add them to the list. So I end up with a whole
boatload of topics
that have text in them that should have been broken out into
individual
topics.
* I think I can manage the problems in the previous paragraph
by doing a
search and replace on a copy of the Word document before
importing it into
RH HTML, replacing all instances of my "non-traditional"
heading styles with
Heading 1, Heading 2, etc. However, if I've got the whole
project in RH HTML
to my liking, there's no way to get .HLP output and as far as
I can tell, no
way to import the RH HTML project into RH for Word.
I know the received wisdom is that I shouldn't even consider
WinHelp because
it's officially been deprecated. Nonetheless, I want to

tools to create it. The marketplace for our products doesn't
tend to include
early adopters so I don't expect the number of Vista users to
be of any
consequence for quite some time. If we decide to stick with
WinHelp, it
wouldn't be difficult to manage on our end.
So is there any way I can get the import tool in RH for Word
to retain the
complex structure of the original document?? What do I have
to do to get RH
for Word to bring in the graphics?

I received two emails about a new comment on a string I was following, and then I click on the link,
and get taken to an site where the old muse support forum is discontinued,   why are you sending out emails with bad links on them.
if I go to the Adobe support pages,   and login , I can't find the muse support site BECAUSE muse in NOT a product???
if I go back to an email from muse, and click around on the various links, ( after I have already logged in to adobe support) ONLY then can I find the muse
support site. and then I can' t find any of my comments or items I've submitted.    it's quite obvious that someone decided to switch over to the Adobe corporate support forum, and killed the old one,
but didn't invest in any time to define the ways for users to access the support forum. VERY VERY BAD.
i'm very disappointed.    Is this really going to be a product?

The old forum still exists and people can still post to it. You just need to kick away that gray overlay by clicking on the "view the archived content" link.
Adobe certainly has some cleanup to deal with in regard to the forum switch but I don't think it is any sign on whether Muse is really going to be a product. There are many other signs.

We were very surprised to learn that my daughter's new iPod Nano would not connect to a PowerBook running 10.3.x. (The PowerBook G4 was purchased new in '04 and, since everything needed runs just fine, there has never been any need to upgrade the OS.) We now know that you need 10.4.x to recognize the new iPod. We'd be willing to upgrade, but we cannot. We cannot upgrade to 10.5 because we need to keep some legacy applications running which require Classic. Classic is no longer supported in 10.5 and, thank you very much, 10.4.x which still supports Classic is no longer available - as of Nov. 1, barely two months ago.

OK... I've now learned that 10.4 Tiger is still available online from the Apple Store. (I'd been given some bad information from an Apple reseller who told me they had to return all the 10.4 Tiger s/w when 10.5 came out. That may have been true, but they also indicated that 10.4 was no longer available.) So, my daughter's $149 iPod Nano has now turned into a $378 (iPod + MacOS) present.

iPhones are sold in carrier-locked and unlocked versions. If the phone has a carrier lock on it, you must contact the carrier to have it removed (you probably need to bring the phone to the carrier for the process). If you don't know the carrier, you won't be able to get it unlocked. US carriers will not remove the carrier lock and it cannot be removed.
How is Safari behaving that makes you say that Safari is not working? The lock status of the phone won't affect Safari, except that if the phone is locked and you aren't using the carrier (and SIM provided by the carrier) to which it is locked, then you can't use the phone or 3G service, only Wi-Fi.
The iPhone should not appear as a drive on your computer, so there's no error there.

Apps from the iTunes store are only for ios based devices. ie iPad or iPhone
If you want an app for your Macbook use the App Store on the toolbar and you can purchase a mac version if it exists.

I can't get any instance of CSS rollovers to work in Edge

I have been working on a small scale interactive slider in Edge and I have watched various tutorials and techniques on how to apply css mouseover and mouseout color changes to a button symbol, but it just isn't working. I can sometimes get the background of the symbol to change, but not the actual button (Ellipse). I am sure there is something I am just missing since it seems pretty straight forward. Any info would help.

There are a few reasons why your code isn't working as expected:
The css color property is only for text elements. Use background-color for rectangle/ellipse divs.
You're addressing the symbol instance, which is okay but the symbol is the size of your ellipse, so background-color wouldn't display because the ellipse obscures the symbol background. Why are you using symbols here? It's not necessary if the only thing you are doing is using css to change the ellipse color
If you need symbols for other reasons, then you can access the ellipse inside after you get the symbol using sym.getSymbol().
If it's point 3 that you require, then here's some example code that may help:
sym.getSymbol("nav1").$("ellipse").css("background-color", "orange");

Can't get Contacts "except my country" button to work

In Contacts, when printing labels, I can't get the second button related to "country" to work. It is called "except my country", even after selecting the "country" button. This problem occurs when trying to print a page of Avery 8160 labels. I get those buttons to work when trying to print one address only. But when printing labels for multiple addresses, the "except my country" button does not work.

I can't confirm if this is a bug, but I suspect that it is.

Iphone 5 slide to unlock is not getting swiped & its Wake/Sleep button not working

Iphone 5 Wake/Sleep button is not working and the phone 5 is not getting unlock (the slide to unlock is not getting swiped).
The phone is in warranty and was purchased from US. Apple is denying to provide any kind of support as they say that the Iphone has opened eventhough it has not been opened.
I must say that the quality of apple has been going down & down after Steve Jobs demise.

Getting input from mouse-wheel: does not work under windows/IE

I have built an applet that extends JApplet. To it I have added a class that extends JPanel implements MouseListener, MouseWheelListener, MouseMotionListener.
I collect input using the method
public void mouseWheelMoved(MouseWheelEvent e){
do stuff...
I have build this on a mac and tested it in firefox and it works fine. But on xp/vista internet explorer, the applet does not respond to mousewheel input. On mac osx /safari it does not work either.
Is there any solution to this problem?

How can I get apps from the App store to work on my iPad again?

I plugged my iPad into my computer, so I went into iTunes. I went back on my iPad and none of the apps will work now.

Check the accounts on both your iPhone and computer... make sure they are the same.
Wiping the computer was a problem if you didn't create a backup of your iTunes library. Anything on your iPhone such as music, videos, apps, etc will be wiped when you sync now since those items are probably not in your library. Typically, the sync is one-way from iTunes to your iPhone.
You can try File > Transfer Purchases to get purchased items from your iPhone to iTunes. Excluding what you transfer, you're essentially starting from scratch on your iPhone. Note that apps can be downloaded again for free but music and videos cannot.

How can I get help? Help files do not work.

1. None of the links in my Help files from within the program go anywhere. I had to manually go online to the Adobe site to get to this spot to try to get help. I'm using Elements Organizer 10. I can bring up the Help browser with all the topic links, but clicking on them does nothing.
2. The reason I was trying to access the Help files is that I cannot figure out how to see all the photos in a file instead of just the most recently imported photos. I am in Folder Location display mode. I tried to import all the photos in a particular file, but it imported only seven--said the rest had already been imported. But now it will only show me those seven just imported. I can go back to Thumbnail view, which gives me the View All button, but then I can't limit the view to just the photos in a particular file. I am so frustrated!
And since I don't really know how I got to this screen (thought I was submitting a question to Adobe Support) I don't know if I can even find my way back here to check for somebody's kind assistance!

I believe the problem is that there is no "Show All" button in the Folders
View. I've gone back to Thumbnail View and selected "Show All," then
returned to the Folders View and clicked on the particular folder, but it still
displays just those seven photos. If I click on another folder I get all
of the photos in that folder, but click back on this folder and I'm back to
just seven of 50+ items. Interestingly, I also tried going to the Import
Batch view, and in that batch it shows only two pictures!
By the way, I have shut down the program and restarted a couple of times.
I've also checked to make sure there are no album or keyword items checked
which would limit the items shown.
I cannot afford to update to PSE11, because I just updated to 10 last
month! I'm feeling very stupid at this point and about ready to give up.

Is there an "APPLE STORE" in India or you just went in a reseller store?
There is a replacement program for sleep/wake button for free. Just look for an Apple Store and make a reservation at Genius Bar.
I have an iPhone 5, bought in Dubai U.A.E.
It is a US model (model A1428) which is different of the model use here in Italy/Europe
My serial number is qualified for battery replacement program.
I thought the Apple Store wouldn't repair my phone because I bought it from another country , a different model and it is already out of warranty.
The Apple store's staff just checked if my iPhone's serial number is eligible for the program and he replaced the battery for free today.
