I have been waiting on finanical services to call me back since Friday of last week. They haven't so I decided to call them and I haven't been able to get through. This is very frustrating. I hope someone gets in touch with me before tomorrow.

MBP freezes after 10.4.11 and I can't get through to AppleCare
This is beyond ridiculous. Since applying the 10.4.11 update, my MBP always locks up after waking from sleep. There has been no exception since updating. I kept it turned off for about 24 hours, then used it all afternoon without letting it sleep and didn't have a single freeze. Sure enough, the first time I closed the lid to let it sleep, it locked up within seconds of waking up. This was happening spradically prior to the 10.4.11 update, but now it's rendering my MBP unuseable.
Yes, I have AppleCare and I tried calling Apple twice last week. Both times, I got cut off. Both times, I could barely understand the Indian trying to help me, and one got snippy with me when I had to keep asking him to repeat himself. Neither time did I actually get to speak with a technician. One of those times I got a recorded message telling me that Apple was closed for the holiday and to call back during normal business hours. Friday wasn't a holiday (at least not in this country) and I was calling during normal business hours for THIS country, but perhaps not for India. I've never experienced any trouble getting AppleCare support via telephone in the past, even on Sundays.
I've run Apple Hardware Test and TechTool Deluxe, neither of which reports any drive problems. The nearest Apple Store is an hour's drive from here. Apparently, I have one of the Seagate drives recently found to be defective. All I want to know is whether or not I should let Apple replace the drive with one that isn't defective.
I'm at a loss here. I'm paying for AppleCare, but can't get through to a comprehensible English speaker capable of answering that very simple question. I can't let my MBP sleep because it'll lock up upon waking. I can't find any way to send feedback to Apple about the unacceptable experience trying to get through to support last week. Is no one accountable for anything these days? And to think I bought an iPhone last week too!Here is what I think may be the relevant portion of my system.log file. I've had no luck at all finding someone willing to tell me how to parse log files to troubleshoot errors. The freeze happened right about Nov 25 22:00:00. Note the times at the beginning of each line.

I want to cancel Creative Cloud ... but can't get through to the gatekeepers
Like so many others I've been tearing my hair out in an effort to cancel Creative Cloud, which has never worked on my computer.
I tried the 1-800 number, but after costing me a lot of money (due to long waits and a per-minute charge on my phone plan) the line dropped part way into the conversation. I have since left a forum message some days ago with and Adobe employee (Rajshree) who seems to be the one person on earth able to implement a cancellation, but she has not responded.
It's infuriating that you can sign up without even trying but that it's so hard to get out of your subscription. As a loyal customer who has given many thousands of dollars to Adobe over the years, I'm saddened to report that in the course of this ordeal I have gone from loving the company to regarding it as despicably devious.

To answer your question, yes I used the same email address for Adobe registration and chat support. It never would have occurred to me that using just one address would render the system unworkable, but frankly at this point nothing would surprise me. It'd be nice if somebody could fix that.
Now that I've reached you, PLEASE CANCEL MY CREATIVE CLOUD ACCOUNT as I have requested. Email me if necessary. You have my email in the system. But please don't instruct me to go to some forum I can't get into. this is the only one I can find, and the pop-up says you are staff.
Since I never used it, and since I have spent countless frustrating hours trying to get through by phone and internet, I hope you will have mercy and not charge me any more than the hundreds I have already paid for Creative Cloud. Indeed, a full reimbursement seems reasonable to me given that I could never get it to work on my computer, and I could never reach support.
Having said that, let me make it clear that I WANT OUT ... now and forever.

Why do I always get redirected with customer support?
So today I went on the phone with Verizon just to figure out why my internet speed has been slow because I finally got the time too. I used to get around a 2.5 - 3 Mbps speed connection and now I only get a 1.5 Mbps or so connection. This originally happened after a Verizon tech agent came to our house and said that our speed was "too high and it shouldn't be that high" when my internet connection dropped. So he went over to the cable lines down the street and lowered my connection and then comes back and says its fixed. Now he didn't fix anything or do anything for that matter. I had to login MYSELF into my Verizon account on my modem which brought the internet up again. So basically, I paid for the Verizon agent to come and lower my speed and gained nothing from it. However, I still pay the same price as before for the 3 Mbps connection...
Now I went through the customer support on the phone to talk about this and they redirected me again and again and again probably at the very least 6 or more times. Everytime I got to a technical support, they would redirect me to a billing support and so forth. I told my problem over and over to no avail. All I want is my 2.5 - 3 Mbps speed again which I used to have... I STILL pay for the 3 Mbps connection when I only get around 1.5 Mbps now.
I feel like this is it... I can't handle this anymore, everytime I go to Verizon customer support I get redirected at least 5+ times for over 2-3 hours just to get one problem fixed. Half the time these morons don't even know what they're doing and just redirect me over and over again.
I'm thinking of simply changing to another ISP.Before you change ISP I would demand a refund for the period of time your speed was subpar. It is true that for a number of different reasons your line may no be able to give reliable higher speeds. If you want to save some $$ look into the 3/1 FIOS plan, that is what I have. It is not an obvious choice on the VZ web site but the price is very fair IMO
Hopefully by posting here one of the verizon reps will "hook you up" no pun intended.

3ds can not get through my wpa2
Not sure if anyone can offer any suggestions but my daughters 3ds can not get through the wpa2 security to access the Nintendo wifi network. Anybody have any suggestions as to how we can get by this?

itunes 10.1 will not download because I can't get old apple application support off my windows XP. Help!
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Next, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:

About Mavericks I could set my 4K monitor via HDMI on 2560x1440.

Call Verizon's wireless tech support & explain your problem to them. They will provide "step-by-step" instructions over the phone.
Take notes too!
TIP: If you do call & don't want to go through all those darn promps, when you initially call, just don't say anything. The automatic voice will then say, "will connect you to a service rep." -
Can't get through one TV show purchased on iTunes without Homeshare timing out
My Apple TV is up to date, as well as my imac. Netflix is working pretty well now but it really bugs me that I can't get through a whole TV show that I purchased on iTunes without the Homeshare timing out. If I go to watch on my computer, it works fine. This is somthing between my computer and my Apple TV which is especially maddening because it all Apple! I have spent a lot of time on this and I am not a techie. very maddening - about to throw the darn thing in the trash!

I bought a used iphone 4s on ebay and it shows a clean esn online. I can't get through setup because its asking for "prior user?" email and id...at least thats what it appears to be aking for. How do I get the old information off so I can complete new setup?

Ask the person you bought the phone from. There is no way to pass the icloud activation locked without the previous owners info.
My guess you bought a stolen phone, suggest you return it and get your money back and then buy from an authorized Apple dealer. -

If the problem persists after you reboot as suggested by Ralph:
Trouble connecting usually means interference, or another WiFi on the same channel.
If you have any cordless phones, keyboards, or cameras, check what frequency they use.
From a MAC or Windows machine you can see what channel each of the available networks are using. Make sure your network is on a channel nobody else nearby is also using. -

Charged a large amount $68 by iTunes California . I can't get to anyone in support and when I challenged the amount on my card, now my Apple ID has been disabled. Anyone else having similar problems?
Does anything show on your account's purchase history ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
If it does and you didn't do the purchase(s), and nobody else has access to your account or devices, then try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption. Is that how you tried contacting them ?
If it doesn't show on your account then contact your card issuer.
For your account being disabled have you tried getting it re-enabled ? If it's been disabled due to payments then you may need to contact support to get it enabled
