Can't get to music in cloud from pc

All the Music shows in the list in iTunes, but the songs can't be played or downloaded. I get the message "could not be used because the original file could not be found". The music plays fine from my Apple devices, but not from the PC

Restore from the backup of your old computer. Copy it from the CDs.

Can't get any music onto shuffle from my iBook!

I have had an ipod mini for a year and a half, and no probs transferring and updating from my iTunes on my iBook(although will not update unless I restart the computer...maybe this is standard, not sure).
I have recently bought a Shuffle, and I intalled the accompanying CD-ROM, then plugged the shuffle in and although it is appearing on the desktop, it is not being recoginised by iTunes. The info booklet that came with the shuffle said it would automatically open up iTunes and let me upload some music, but I can't seem to find anyway to get music onto the shuffle at all. Have tried all the tricks in the trouble shooting section of the info book, but no success on my iBook.
A friend tried it on their PC at home and got music on no problem...it seems ridiculous that I can't get music onto it from an Apple computer.

I have 850 songs on my iphone 4 and it has been backed up to my laptop and to icloud. I now have an iphone 5s but cannot get the music to my iphone 5s. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Stolen computer!! can i get my music files back from my ipod?

I had my computer stolen! And stupidly hadn't backed up my music files... All the files are however on my ipod. Obviously, i don't want to lose them so i'm looking for a way to transfer my files from my ipod onto itunes 8 on my new computer...
I've read about transfering the iTunes file to a new computer but obviously i can't do that because i don't have the old file.
Furthermore, i know i can listen to my files on my comptuer by, instead of syncing my ipod, chosing to manually manage my files. What i want to know is if it's possible to actually transfer the files permanently onto my new computer as independent music files instead of leaving them forever precariously sitting on my ipod.
IF i have no choice but to leave all the music solely on my ipod without backing it up on my computer, how do i go about syncing new music without deleting the old stuff?

Connect your iPod to your computer. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use our iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync.

I can't get all music to sync from my iMac to my iPhone 5.

My iTunes library looks normal enough. BUT, when I try to sync playlists, albums, etc to my phone, not everything syncs. When I look at the music listing on my phone (through iTunes) some of the songs show up in very light text or have a circled exclamation point next to them. I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem, but last Spring I switched to an iMac from a very old Dell. I transferred that iTunes library to my iMac by way of external hard drive. Anyway, this problem is driving me crazy. Am I going to have to start my iTunes library completely over from scratch? What happens to all of my purchased songs?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If you have failed to bakup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
