In iTunes when I click on the button to take me to iTunes store a message comes up saying 'The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK store' and now I can't get into the iTunes store at all

I closed iTunes and then re-opened and it helped. My connections have been intermittent at best tonight.

I can't get into the itunes store through my itunes because the homepage has the add for updating to itunes 10. I tried to do it, but then realized I don't have the software for it, I need Mac OS 10.5 or higher and I have 10.4. Hey everyone I have itunes downloaded but when I click on Itunes Store from my itunes homepage it get the following message, "itunes could not connect to the itunes store. The network connection timed out. MAke sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active then try again". What does this mean? Have any of u experiecned this problem? I'm trying to download os x but i can't get past the app store preview page i'm running 10.6.8?

I'm trying to download mavericks from the app store i get to the preview page but can't get past that page any farther i'm running 10.6.8

Make sure you don't forget about Rosetta.
And you meet Mountain Lion Apple hardware requirements, and backup your data to at least two separate places, making sure neither is connected to the machine when the update is installed, and check that all your drivers are compatible as well. Only upgrade to Mavericks if there is software you need Mavericks for. Otherwise stay put until everything is up to date.
