Can't get WET200 to work -- need help
Here's what I've tried so far:
1. I set my Windows XP laptop's Local Area Connection TCP/IP to use IP address 192.168.1.220 (which is outside my router's dynamic range), subnet mask 255.255.255.0, and default gateway of 192.168.1.226. This allowed me to connect the WET200 to my laptop's ethernet port and get to the WET200's admin page by going to 192.168.1.226.
2. I left the WET200's basic settings alone, except I changed the gateway to 192.168.1.1 (my router's IP address) and clicked Save. Btw, my router is the Actiontec MI424WR that they give you for Verizon FIOS.
3. I clicked on the Site Survey, selected my network, entered my router's WEP passphrase, generated the keys, and saved the settings.
4. I unplugged the Ethernet cable from my laptop, then unplugged the router's power cord, waited 30 seconds, and plugged it back in.
5. I set my Windows XP laptop's Local Area Connection TCP/IP setting back to "Obtain an IP address automatically"
6. I then plugged the Ethernet cable back into my laptop.
At this point, I was expecting my laptop's Local Area Connection to obtain an IP address and be able to connect to the Internet, but it times out and cannot get an IP address, which means I can't connect to the internet.
What did I do wrong, or what else do I need to do to get this working?
Keep in mind I'm a home user, not an IT admin, so please don't assume I have any networking knowledge when you reply.

Did you reset your PRAM?

Hold down all four keys as the mac starts up and wait for the chimes to ring twice. Then let the machine start up as usual.
If it works be sure to check your date and time settings (the system will tell you)
You can also start up from your system disk holding down the c key as it starts-- go past the language screen and open disk utilities from the menu bar run disk repair and then repair permissions. Set your startup disk to your new drive.
Hopefully that will take care of the problem. -
The past few days I find my IOS devices don't show up in "My Computer" and they don't show up in iTunes. All other USB devices work well. I am using Windows Vista. I have tried several troubleshooting things, including unintalling and reinstalling iTunes, stopping and starting the Apple monitors, etc. Nothing is working. Ideas?
It's really great that you're taking the time to help me. I did several of the tests you recommend over the last two or three days. It always shows that the iPod/iPhone/iPad isn't present. Here's more. I got a Norton tech to help me yesterday and it isn't the anti-virus, as we uninstalled everything and it still didn't work. I went deeper into the system through the control panel, and found the device detected on the appropriate USB port, but it won't show up in "My Computer". Two of the three devices show up on another PC, (I didn't test the third) so I'm leaning to something in iTunes because every other USB device I plug into the Vista ports shows up quickly and works perfectly (thumb drives, wireless mouse, camera, etc). I already unistalled all Apple software and downloaded new, but the problem still exists. I have restarted, unplugged, you name it and the devices aren't showing up. I can't wirelessly sync either because one has to set that up through iTunes prior to doing it.

No Password Keeper on 9100 - spent hours on forums, still can't get it to work! HELP!!!
Guys, before you ask me to search the forums etc, believe me I've exhausted every possible avenue to try and find out where the hell my password keeper has gone to!
So here we are, this is the situation;
1. Have an old Pearl 8110
2. Bought a new Pearl 9100
3. Backed up the 8110
4. Restored everything onto 9100
5. Where the password keeper? It's not there!
So what did I do next?
1. Factory reset/wipe - still not there.
2. Downloaded the OS6 from the website and reloaded that - still not there?
I've used the application loader and all I see in the application manager is the email set up. All the forums are saying that I can select/deselect applications to load and unload, but I can't see the password keeper anywhere.
Isn't there just a simple binary or something which I can download which I can then use the DM to upload onto the 9100?
Surely someone out there knows what to do and get this working again?

Go to Solution.then I think the OS you installed on your PC for 9100 is incomplete. I suggest you download it once more entirely,
uninstall the previous one, install the new one and at one point while using loader.exe you will be able to select financial dictionaries as well as applications including the Password Keeper.
In any case, you cannot use the ALX file for one specific model with another model.

Datalist with scrollbar, can't get it to work
Hi all there,
I've tried this over and over, but i can't get this to work;
I have selected an picture (thumbnail) AND selected a vertical scrollbar (with shift click) The scrollbar is from catalyst itslef, so not a custom made 1.
I then (with again both selected) convert these to data list.
When done, i select within the data list the thumbnail and set this towards the Repeated item.
I now have (by default) 5 thumbnails. I add some more to my likings.
And now i'm blanc.
When previeuwing this in my browser i can see the thumnails, including the hover state, i can see the image of the scrollbar but... the scrollbar does not work.
I cant even click the butto on it. It looks just like a picture without any functionality.
I've consulted the web, read Classroom in a Book over and over again, but whatever i do, even within the tutorials comming with the Classroom book, i can't get this to work.
Help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. I'm simply stuck.

I redid all the work after some testing. It works now as intended. Can't recall where i did it wrong the first place.

Help!! Can't get BeforeReport to work
I am in desperate need of help - I have tried opening an SR and I was told using parameters was a customization and I needed to hire a consultant. I also tried to email my instructor from my XML Publisher class but she told me to check the user's guide....which I have done and to no avail. In fact, I have copied exactly based on the sample data template from the users guide to what I have and I still get an "Invalid Relational Operator".
I have to get this report published but can't get it to work - I will be happy to email or post my template and package body but need anyone's help who is willing to give it. I am sorry to sound so desperate but I am!!!

When i tried to download iOS8 on my iPad Mini it told me that I needed to connect my iPad to iTunes, I have done that and now it says I need to restore my iPad. How can I get my iPad working without losing everything on my iPad? I don't want to lose my apps and photos!
Help would be much appreciated!If you are getting the connect to iTunes screen then it's too late to take a new backup and/or copy anything off it. Prior to starting the update did you take a backup, either to the cloud and/or to your computer's iTunes ? If not then have you recently taken a backup that might have your photos and apps content/settings in it ?
As long as the apps are still in your country's store then you should be able to redownload them via the Purchased tab in the App Store app (and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes), and if the apps store their content on a server/cloud service then you might be able to get their content back from that - if they store their content on the device then you will need to have a backup.
For our photos you could try doing a search for programs that claim to be able to recover content from a device - I haven't used any so I can't suggest one.
