Can't get Yahoo mail on MacBook Air

I suddenly can't get yahoo mail on my MacBook Air. However, when I log in using Safari, I don't have a problem. Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

I am attempting to install software on my new MacBook Air 13", with my LG Portable Super Multi Drive. It works perfectly on my MacBook Pro, and other macs, but when I plug it into the USB port of my new MacBook Air, it spins, acts like it wants to load the disk, but it doesn't !

For it to show on the desktop check on Finders menubar. Finder > Preferences > General > check CDs DVDs and iPods. Do the Same in the sidebar tab if desired.

IOS 6 Firewall temp Fix but now can't get YAHOO mail ***?

I spent 1.5 hours last night at the "Genius Bar", only for them to tell me that the issue with a firewall for the wifi wasn't an issue seeing as i just upgraded to ios 6, so got 2 new replacement phones to "fix the problem". I got back into our secure network only to find the issue still existed. This AM we removed the password on our firewall but kept WEP key in place. We can't track usage untill Apple come up with a fix that worked just as well as IOS 5.
However after re organising all my email accounts, i can now no longer get my YAHOO mail. Keeps asking for the password even though i input the correct PW.
Ideas welcome people!
PS.... lets go apple, love your stuff but you have tech friendly people that can't do what they are asked to do..... Hmm here's an idea, maybe keep it longer in BETA????

All we asked for is the phone to function as it should. Not a big ask to have it work as it would on previous operating software. This may not apply to you unless you were in the similar situation.

There is no problem with Gmail and iPad; I use it all the time.
Check to make sure that you have entered the correct information in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars for your Gmail account.

Did you run all the software updates after the 10.6.3 update, especially this one which will bring you up to 10.6.8.

Then call your provider and ask them what is going on. They have probably changed POP to IMAP, 10.6.8 supports IMAP
