Can't hear much out of headset on Nokia Lumia 800?...

When i connect my old headsets from my nokia asha and nokia c3, they fit fine, and perfectly in the headset socket, however i cant vaigly hear anything, even though the volume is on full. Do i need a special nokia lumia 800 headset, or are the ones ive used adequate? They do fit perfectly in the audio socket so i dont see why i cant hear much from them, the 2 headsets ive tried work fine in the asha and can hear loud and clear.. Someone please give me some advice about this....

nobody can help me with my question>>????

  • Nokia Lumia 800 + Xbox 360 BT headset = Best Combi...

I just tested out my Xbox 360 BT headset w/ my Nokia Lumia 800 and it works much better than my Plantronics BT headset. Speaker is louder, connection is a breeze, I know I would always have to pair my phone every time w/ the Plantronics BT, w/ the Xbox 360 BT it connects everytime. Another thing I was surprised at was it supports ADP2, so you can listen to your music or watch netflix and hear the audio through your Xbox 360 BT headset. If you're looking for a headset try the Xbox 360 BT headset.

After all I managed to connect it to the sony bluetooth headset via the nfc function! But manually it wouldn't find either of the two headsets and yes I did the steps you said
The devices you are trying to connect to the phone have to be in the bluetooth pairing mode before the phone will see them in bluetooth.
Read up on how to put the headsets in pairing mode.  Should be in the literature that came with them.

  • Can only hear sound out of one ear in iPod 30gb

My nephew can only hear sound from one ear of his headphones.
    1) he's not becoming deaf and we've tried multiple pairs of headphones that give the SAME result.
    2) the volume settings are correct, so its not that.
What are the options here? Is there a known fix? If its a hardware issue, can Apple do anything (free under warranty or repair with charge)?
    Thank you for your help!

maybe that the file only offers one audio track. have tried other players to play it?

  • Where can I buy a new shell for my nokia lumia 520

Please advise where the closest place isvthat I can buy a new shell for my nokia lumia 520. I am in new plymouth, taranaki, new zealand.

  • Can't hear says it in headset mOde

For some reason it says my phone is in headset mode

I am assuming you already tried turning the volume up while on a phone call using the volume rocker on the side of the phone as the volume levels for the built in ear piece and the speaker phone speaker are independent. Your phone's ear piece speaker may just be dead. Take it into an apple store for replacement.

I'm experiencing a similar problem. When I search Adobe Reader into the marketplace, I can't find it.
If I try to follow direct download link to application, I'm notified I can't install it due to limitations related to operation system version, device type or app missing in local marketplace.
These are the relavant information in my case:
    1) Marketplace: italian

  • Can't sync my Macbook with my new Nokia Lumia 900.

I spent two hours with a couple of the tech folks at the AT&T store yesterday, trying to get my new Nokia Lumia 900 to sync to my Macbook... but with no luck. No matter what we did, I kept getting a message that the server was not secure, and so the calendar and address book wouldn't sync. Other things probably as well, though these two were my primary concerns. And, yes, we had downloaded the Windows Phone 7 Connector. It didn't seem to matter. Any suggestions, other than taking the phone back and getting another iPhone for a couple hundred more than I paid for the Lumia?

Take it back and buy an iPhone...
Sorry had to say it -

  • Can't  hear on my galaxy s4 after disconnecting bluetooth

after disconnecting from bluetooth headset, can't hear anything from phone headset.

I'm also having the same issue. Seems to happen more often while connected to bluetooth. Hopefully Samsung is reading this:
During a call the phone disconnects, as if the call were dropped.
Redialed the number and the phone shows the call initiating. I have checked with the receiver and their phone does ring. On my end there is no dial or ring tone. The receiver of the call doesn't hear anything and I can't hear them.
Issue fixes itself with a reboot
I have tried troubleshooting with no results:
Turning off bluetooth, placing a call on headset- no fix
    Re-pairing bluetooth - no fix
Airplane mode on and off - no fix
Yelling at the phone! - no fix

  • E61 can't hear phone ring when using bluetooth hea...

When my bluetooth headset is connected, I can only hear sounds via my headset. I would like to hear my phone ring via the speaker of the phone (so I don't have to keep my headset on all the time). How can I make this happen?
    Thanks.

Is the Bluetooth selected in the audio settings when you are on the phone? If you can hear the caller in the vehicle, then it is pairing. I would check with the vehicle manufacturer, or the local dealer to see if there is a problem with the microphone in the car, since that seems to be the issue. You can also check to make sure the phone is not on mute when using the Bluetooth. Check the phone when on a call.

  • Lumia 800 headset malfunction

    Hello,
I am at my wits end i have a problem of not hearing the voice of the caller or person i am calling when they pick up, they can hear well enough bit on my side there is nothing. I have checked the voice volume settings and they are at 10, i have tried to check all my settings to do with the headset sound and they are perfect.
As a drastic measure in the first incedence i formatted my phone and the phone worked perfectly... no problems. This is like the 3rd time this has happened and understandibly i do not want to format my phone for this again.
    Please help.

Is your phone on a 2G or 3G connection
2G connections can cause a bit of feedback in some speakers and headsets
It may be the case that the headset isn't adequatelt shielded against interferrence so it might be worth trying a different headset to see if this sorts the issue.

  • Lumia 800 and Sennheiser MM450 bluetooth headset

I'm paired my Lumia 800 with my Sennheiser MM450 bluetooth headset.  When I check voicemail or use the phone features the sound comes through the headset.  Unfortunately, when I go to the Zune player or Xbox Live, the sound comes out the speakerphone on the Lumia 800, not the headset.  I go back to phone or voicemail and the sound comes out the bluetooth headset.
The MM450 headset also can be plugged into the phone with a 3.5mm cord, and the sound comes through the headset on all applications: phone, voicemail, Zune, Xbox Live.
Is this a bluetooth issue with Windows Phone 7.5 or with the Lumia 800?  Any way to fix?
    Thanks,
    Dan

    User error on my part...
I'm happy to report all functions of the MM450 are working beautifully with my Lumia 800 (e.g. full zune control, making/recieving calls).  The two devices are a match made in heaven.
    Cheers...

  • Lumia 800 - can't use headphones

    Hello here,
My name is Adel and I would like to get some support for my Nokia Lumia 800.
Basically the problem is that headphones don't work with it, the phone doesn't recognize them.
    I checked for dust, nothing.
    I resetted it, nothing.
Tried to get to an earlier version of windows phone? Nothing.
    Tried to change headphones, nothing.
Sent it to Nokia local store, after two weeks, i got back my phone with headphones finally recognized by the phone, but it was a short glory, one day later, the same problem is back. No headphones can be connected to the phone. And, I used the headphones that were given in the box when i bought the phone.
I really have troubles finding a similar solution over the net, feels like I am the only one in the world experiencing this issue
So guys, I would really appreciate if you could help me fix it please.
    Thanks and regards,
    Adel Blackburn.

Let me also add that when the headphones are plugged in, the sound comes out from loudspeaker.
    Just making sure. thanks

  • Can't hear myself talk - No mic playback - HS 1000 headset

I have a Creative Fatal1ty HS-1000 USB headset and I can not hear myself talk into the microphone. I have emailed tech support for the third time and they keep referring me to their help articles on the website but it doesn't help.
I have no option in the windows volume control to turn up or un-mute the mictophone in playback control.
    Here's a screenshot...

I have the same exact problem. I also have XP.
I found the mic volume slider, it's the "Volume" button in the voice recording section. I have it turned all the way up, but still get nothing.
I installed all the latest drivers, Control Consoles, etc etc.
I was pretty much ready to give up.
Update: The microphone can be removed. It pulls straight out. That means, it may not have proper contact.
That was the case for me. I put it back in, and must've gotten it just right, because now it works. I guess the contacts are a bit touchy.
Anyway, If you're out there and getting nothing from the mic test, this may be your problem.

  • Callers Can't Hear Me on Multiple Bluetooth Headsets

After getting tired of having my corded headphones ripped out of my ears when they get snagged on doorknobs I broke down and bought a wireless Bluetooth headphones (a Samsung Circle).
I was able to pair it with no issue.
    I could hear music fine.
    I could stream Sirius XM.
I could voice-to-text with no issue.
I could voice-to-text (email) with no issue.
I could voice-to-text (Facebook Messenger) with no issue.
I could talk to Siri with no issue.
However, when I was trying to talk on the phone, the person on the other side could NOT hear me, but I could hear them.
I dismissed this as a faulty headphones and returned it to Best Buy. I got a different one, a different brand and everything. Got the exact same result.
This is ridiculous. So I tried my Plantronics bluetooth headset which worked in the past. Now THAT ONE isn't working. I can hear callers, but they can't hear me. So that's three different Bluetooth headsets.
    My earbuds work fine.
    My speakerphone works fine.
The standard iPhone handset works fine.
The problem is isolated to Bluetooth headsets (single ear and double), while using the phone... people just can't hear me. I tried muting/unmuting and that didn't work either. I can click back and forth between the speaker and iPhone and they work fine, but I switch to the Bluetooth and nothing. No one can hear me.
I have an iPhone 5s running 8.1.3. I tried restarted, synching, deleting all the Bluetooth connections and rediscovering them ... nothing.

I've had this same problem for a while now. iPhone 5s on Verizon, and same issue with Blueant, Jabra, and Plantronics headsets.
Sometimes the people on the other end can hear me, most of the time not. I can always hear them.
I had the Blueant headset for a while and it worked fine. It was just a cheap one to keep me going until I got another one. Got the Jabra Supreme, it worked fine for a while but then started intermittently not transmitting my voice to the listener. I can hear them fine but they can't hear me. Thought it was the headset, so got the Plantronics Voyager Edge bluetooth headset but same issue. Can't figure out if it was concurrent with a system update or not that the problem manifested itself, but it wasn't apparent from the getgo, so it started sometime after I'd been using the phone with headset for a while.
I'm glad (but sorry) to read that your wiping the device didn't make a difference as I was just about to try that, but don't want to do so if it's not going to make a difference.
Just updated to 8.3 today, so hoping that maybe something will be different. Charging up all 3 headsets now in hopes that problem will be miraculously gone.
No one seems to have a clue as to why this is, what could be causing it, and what to do about it. Frustrating to say the least. I had a Plantronics with my cheap old flip phone and it was fantastic. I used it for business every day. Now I'm relegated to using the speaker phone on the iPhone until I can get this figured out.
