Can't Hear Recording / Participants can't hear VOIP

For whatever reason, we can record just fine, but there isn't
any audio. We have confirmed that we can record audio using a
different app. The audio is broadcast to other meeting hosts in a
'live' situation. But regular participants cannot hear at the same
time. I am assuming the two issues are connected.
Anyone know why?

Good point Kay,
If the Camera/Voice pod is in the Presenter Only area, only
presenters and hosts will hear the VOIP and see the video. Since
the recording is done from the participant view, then the recording
would not have any audio.

    You can hear, or monitor, input from an instrument or microphone in GarageBand while you play and record. When you turn on monitoring for a track, you hear the musical instrument or microphone connected to the track’s input. Monitoring lets you hear yourself play so that you can hear the part you want to record as well as the rest of the project.
    You can turn on monitoring for a Real Instrument track or Electric Guitartrack from the track’s header, or in the Track Info pane. Electric Guitar tracks always show their monitoring buttons, and you can show monitoring buttons for Real Instrument tracks using a menu command. You can use monitoring with feedback protection to avoid feedback while you play.

    Choose Track > “Show Monitoring for Real Instrument Tracks.”Monitor buttons appear in the headers of Real Instrument tracks. On tracks with monitoring turned on, the button lights yellow.

    From the Monitor pop-up menu, choose one of the following:
    Choose Off to turn off monitoring. You can hear your instrument only while you record.
    Choose On to turn on monitoring and protect against feedback.
    Choose On (no feedback protection) to turn on monitoring without feedback protection. If the input level is too high, it may cause feedback (especially if you are using a microphone and listening to your project through your computer speakers).
    For an Electric Guitar track, you can view the Monitor pop-up menu by clicking Edit, and then clicking the back side of the amp. The Monitor pop-up menu appears with the input controls below the stage.
    You should usually turn off monitoring when you are not playing or singing. When monitoring is turned on, your computer can pick up output from your speakers or monitors, causing unwanted feedback. Using headphones rather than speakers to listen to your projects can help eliminate feedback.
    If you select your computer’s built-in microphone as the audio input, in the Audio/MIDI pane of GarageBand preferences, monitoring is turned off for all Electric Guitar tracks to avoid unwanted noise.

  • Can't hear recorded voive memo

    hello. i've recorded today 5 voice memos. i can hear only 4 of them. i can see the lengh of this voice memo , the time of the recording and everythig, but when i press the "play" button i can't hear anything. all the rest of the memos i recorded today are playing and i can hear them. what can i do?

    Does the mic work for other apps like Voice Control?
    Does the mic work OK in other devices?
    Have you tried it with another mic?
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

    When I am recording, I can hear my voice through the speakers  and  when I play the recording I here lots of "reverb", that is to say, It sounds like I'm speaking in an auditorium.  What's going on?

    We will have to know a bit more about how you have your microphone connected and what audio interface you are using before we can help you with an answer. The 'reverb' effects is probably because the sound is coming back out of the speakers when you are recording. Either turn the speakers down or listen on headphones to stop the sound going around and around.

    Did you get to chance to manage it. I still could not find out what it is. I deleted LPX and reinstall it , still it does not work.
    I reset the preferences on both application and nothing happens.
    please let me know if you find out any solution. and I will do the same.

    Although all functions of the phone work, callers cannot hear me, nor can I hear them.
    The phone was dropped, is this fixable.  All other speakers work, music, recording, etc.

    Make sure all of the videos used in the project that is having that problem are from the same event. If they are from multiple events, move them all into one event.

    You should turn off "Auto input monitoring". I only have L8 and there you find it under Options->audio->Auto Input monitoring. Would guess that its in the same place in L9

    I understand you are having issues with sound output on your iPhone 4S. For troubleshooting steps, the following article provides the best information:

    1. Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
    2. Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
    3. While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris or an object lodged in the headset jack:
    4. Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.
    5. For Original iPhone: If there is light debris, such as lint, in the headset jack, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset jack and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times to remove the debris.
    6. If you have installed a protective film on the display, either ensure that the receiver is not covered or remove the film completely.
    7. Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris.
    8. If you have paired with a Bluetooth headset that is nearby, either use the headset or turn Bluetooth off (choose Settings > General > Bluetooth).
    9. Restart the iPhone.
    10. If restarting the iPhone doesn't resolve the issue, try restoring the device.
    11. If the issue persists, go to the Service Answer Center - iPhone for information on service.

    What's the video exactly? Open into the QT player and report what it says in the movie inspector or post a screen shot.

    If you push the top volume button on the side and it doesn't make any difference, go into Setings => Sounds and see if the Change with Buttons option has been turned off. My grandson got into these settings on my wife's phone and it drove us nuts for weeks trying to figure it out.  He even got all the way into the accessibility settings and pushed the stereo setting all the way to the left so when the phone was connected to the car radio only the right speakers worked.
    Siri's volume is controled by the general volume controls on the phone itself.  Is the volume for your phone, ring tones, music player low as well?  If so you may have the volume turned down for the entire phone.
