Can't hear sounds at internet sites

After installing the latest version of Flash Player, I lost the ability to hear sounds at internet sites.

Quick update. The video / audio team is still hard at work trying to fix the audio problems introduced in 11.3. Would either of you be willing to test a build of Flash Player that contains a few changes and additional debug logging functionality? If so, please contact me directly at [email protected]

You still need to connect it to the computer it normally syncs with and restore it.
If you do not regularly sync it with a computer or have never synced it with a computer, then the device will need to be restored as new losing all content on the device.
There is no way around the "disabled" screen if you do not know the password without restoring the device via iTunes.

I can't hear sound but audiwaves are showing up

I recently had this problem. My program was working perfectly but one day, when I plugged my headset, there was absolutely no sound. What i don't understand is that the audiowaves are moving but I hear nothing. I tried: the bars and tones things, changing audio material even completely changing editing program but it still doesn't work.
I really need your help
PS:I have a usb headset if that can change something.

headset doesn't works so its probably my pc. I am pretty sure its a
connection problem(ex:usb ports). Finally, I really appreciated your help

I just bought Ipad mini last 2 weeks....since I have bought ...I can not hear sounds from speaker.
It always shows "headphone" mode....Why?
Technician tried to restore but not work....What is your suggestion?

Can only hear sound through headphones

i can only hear sounds on my ipod touch through my headphones

first try plugging and unplugging your headphones at least a dozen times really fast because somtimes the headphone jack sometimes has debris in it. i used to have the same problem.
if that doesnt work restore it back to factory defaults by going to the setting icon then go to the general bar, after that scroll al the way to the bottom and click reset, then click reset all settings after that if it still wont work do the same thing accept click on erase all content and settings

Can't hear sounds in videos and games? Hello. I have some problem with my SB Li've!. I'm using a Sound Blaster Li've! 5. Digital (it writes Model: SB0220 on it) sound card, attached on a Gigabyte Intel 945 S-Series motherboard. And I've installed the driver and software from the cd that i got out of the SB Li've!'s original box (Creative SB Li've! series, Release 5.2.3.296), and also installed my motherboard's onboard sound card driver (Realtek High Definition Audio Driver, Release: 5.0.0.5567). I'm running Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3, using 4. Creative speakers.
I'm okay when listening mp3's or Windows system sounds, but when it comes to play a game or watch a video;
I cannot properly (or sometimes completely) hear sounds, if my EAX Equalizer is set up to something else from "No Effects",
I can hear every sound properly if my EQ is set up "No Effects".
Can anybody tell why this happens? I can give more information about my hardware and software if needed. Thanks so much for your time =)

Download and install the IDT driver on the link below.

When the installation has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices. Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if you now have audio.

Can only hear sound out of one ear in iPod 30gb

My nephew can only hear sound from one ear of his headphones.
1) he's not becoming deaf and we've tried multiple pairs of headphones that give the SAME result.
2) the volume settings are correct, so its not that.
What are the options here? Is there a known fix? If its a hardware issue, can Apple do anything (free under warranty or repair with charge)?

Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.

Try Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

I can't hear sound after upgrading to lion

I have this little annoying problem with my iMac after upgrading to Lion OSX. After waking up my iMac I can't hear any sound from internal speakers, ie: only video on Youtube, but no sound, but whilst pressing volume up/down button I can hear beep. When it happens So I have to restart system everytime it happens. Anyone any ideas or maybe someone out there has the same problem?

I'he double checked everything, only 1 output device (internal speakers). As I said before, it is weird because I can play iTunes and can hear "beep", but neither youtube sound, nor game sound or internet radio seems to be working, no sound whatsoever. But this time system didn't go to sleep, it has just happened suddenly.... Restart again then!

Can't hear sounds.

Help! This one's weird! I'm new to Logic Express, but have been MIDI sequencing in Windows running Cakewalk for about 12 years, so not complete newbie. At the moment, due to building in my house, I can only use LE through the built in speaker, so thought I'd try to create a drum sequence in Ultrabeat. Fine, dragged my patterns to the arranger, made a short 16 bar sequence. I can hear it through MacBook's built in speaker when played back. Today I want to try out Apple loops, as have no way of inputting due to lack of space. I created new software track, chose a bass loop, dragged to the arranger and - I can still hear drum pattern, but no bass loop! I add that while I was browsing through I could hear the loop being previewed, just not in the arranger. Also, when I tried the caps lock keyboard that doesn't work. Sound in other apps, like the DVD Player is also OK.
I wonder if it has to do with the 8.0.2/Mac OS X 10.5.3 update that happened last night?

Hmm. . . i set up my track exactly the way you described it, down to the instrument and everything. There won't be an "R" button because there aren't any in instrument tracks. The ES1 in blue means its active. . . when you deactivate it, the signal meter doesn't register any signal, but you're saying its active so that not the case. My track records and plays just fine. I honestly can't think of what it could be. Try bringing up the virtual keyboard by pressing CapsLock, hi light the track and play notes and see if you get sounds. Or even on your M-audio keyboard, if you're getting sound when you're playing it live, but not when you play it back after you've recorded it. . . and your track is set up the way you say it is, I honestly cannot think of why it wouldn't be playing back, unless you have a different output device set for playback. How are you monitoring output?

Can view picture, but can't hear sound on imovie '09 imports

Hi, gang.
When I import video into imovie '09, I can see picture but cannot hear the sound.
The imported footage, however, is fine: both picture and sound are present on my hard drive after the import.
When I use imovie HD (which i still keep around) I can picture and hear sound as I import.
This more annoying than anything else, as, I still have the downloaded footage I need. Still, this is still abnormal behavior for this version, is it not?

This is working as designed. iMovie 09 will import a lot of formats that iMovie 06 would not. iMovie 6 would only import in "real time". iMovie 09 also imports formats like high definition AVCHD, MPEG2, and h.264 that can import faster than real time or slower than real time, depending on the speed of your processor. Audio on import for these new formats makes no sense. So it appears Apple decided not to do audio on any.
