Can't hear .wav as I scrub through frames

I used to create flash cartoons with characters lip synced to
sounds. I did it by placing the sound on its own layer and then
drawing each frame's mouth position accurate to the sound in each
frame.
I synced it by scrubbing (moving) through the frames, and I
could hear each discrete sound for each frame. Now I hear nothing,
which makes it very hard to lip sync! How can I hear the pieces of
the .wav in each frame?

No, it's not muted. The sound plays when I hit enter, but I
just can't hear it as I'm scrubbing through. I'm on a different
computer, and I wonder if it's some sort of settings issue. It just
functions differently than it did where I was before.

As far as I can tell, the M-Audio Keystation 61es does not have any form of on board sound generation. So whatever you heard in Garageband was synthesized by GB. In the same way you'll have to set up a virtual instrument in Logic to generate the sound.
Apart from that, it sounds like you are not really aware of the difference between Midi controller data and audio data, or at least the way they are routed. The midi controller has no way to send audio to logic through a midi connection. If it had on-board sounds, you'd have to route the audio explicitly to logic using an audio interface or in rare cases using audio over the USB connection that also does midi. In any case, you'd have to route the sound manually. The external instrument plugin in logic allows you to do that easily. But again, I don't think that applies to your situation.

I used to be able to scrub the timeline as fast as I wanted and still be able to both hear and watch my audio meter in FCP. Not anymore though. I'm not sure what happened, but I can no longer do either of the two.

No, sir.
I mean zooming into the whole monitor. Every single pixel gets bigger - that kind of zooming.
You know what I'm saying? Well I'm trying it now as I speak and it's working, so never mind. It seems to me my mouse just needed to be cleaned.

Can't hear my voice on skype through a wireless mi...

I am using skype group video for conducting my lectures. For delivering the lectures I am using the wireless Mics of BTL as an Audio tool in Skype. My voice is heard on the amplifier as well as the skype's audio meter also detects it but while testing as well as delivering the lecture the voice is not heard clearly. Please can anyone provide me an alternative solution for this problem.

Thank you Split0 for replying to my question. While it took away useful functionalities, Vista came up with something totally stupid like the mixer to mix audio between application. Duh !!
Why would one want to hear more than one application of a time is beyond me. I truly question the mind of the idiot that thought that one up.
I had thought of your suggestion already -- to go back to XP. This Vista (even with the Ultimate version) is all bells and whistles. I simply hate it. Unfortunately, I am not able to find all the Windows XP drivers for my new Toshiba Satellite A205-S5859. I guess that is Bill Gate's version of?a joke to all new computer owners.
A question toward that idea of reverting back to XP though... Would you happen to know if the stereo mix (What U hear) designed for the SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook card work the same way as the good old Audigy 2 ZS ? Because if it would, I would seriously think about going back to XP with generic drivers, even if I lose some of the features of my new laptop.

Can't hear .wav files in emai view window

I get .wav atatchments from my CallVantage voice mail.
In the view pane I see the audio play bar but I get no sound.
If I save the atatchment to the desk top and then launch it, everything is fine.
How do I get the sound from the email view?

This is whle my phone is locked both on the slide up toolbar/menu interface and on the normal screen before i slide to unlock.

I skimmed through this very long post but from what I read, this sounds much more like a coverage issue with your network than a device issue. I have not seen or heard of this issue before and I do not have this issue personnally and & I use the music app quite frequently while working in the yard.
The DND feature should not be a factor at all if you're sure it's turned off. I always recommend restarting your phone by holding down the home button + the lock button for 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Once the phone reboots, do a test to see if this has helped to resolve the issue.
If not, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then, test it out again. Post back if neither of these solutions solve your issue.

No audio when scrubbing through clips

Out of the blue, i find i'm no longer about to hear the audio when scrubbing through clips either using the cursor or the left-right arrow keys. I can hear the audio find when playing the clip at normal speed, but when i scrub through the clip or play it one frame at a time using the left or right arrow keys I get know audio. This problem occurs on all sequences, even for old projects that have been edited previously where i was able to scrub through the clips. I've looked at all my user preferences and project preferences and i don't see any setting that would seem to affect the audio scrubbing. any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Can't hear my 8830 ring with incoming calls

I've checked my settings to make sure it 's on "tone" and loud with my ringer, and ensured it was not on mute. However, whenever my phone rings, I can't hear it, no sound comes through. I've been missing lots of calls the last couple of days cause it rings with no audio.

Have you already tried reinserting your battery and switching ringtones as a test?

In other phones, you can hear the phone ringing and if it was connected to bluetooth, you could pick up the call from the bluetooth headset.
Here with iphone, if its connected to bluetooth headset, it only rings through the headset, which means that if you dont have the headset in the ear all the time, you cannot know that you have an incoming call or message.
Any ideas - solutions - comments please?

I'm having the same problem. I had a plantronics 975 (which I lost, sadly). When connected, the ringer would always be routed through the bluetooth and the iPhone's external speaker. When in silent mode, the iPhone would only vibrate, but I could still hear the ringer in the bluetooth.
I just bought a new Plantronics Voyager+. Now when it's connected, all sounds are routed to the earpiece - including the taps, etc. The iPhone's speaker doesn't ring at all, unless the bluetooth is disconnected or powered off. I'd really like to be able to hear both, like I was before. This is an iPhone 3G running iOS 4 (latest version, not sure what it is exactly). Haven't updated software/firmware in between bluetooths, just changed the earpiece.

So i got my iphone 6 and works fine with the bluetooth on my lexus until i plug in the charger. When i do so the music you can't hear the music. When i have it unplugged the music plays fine through the speakers.

Try plugging it it to see if the screen comes on. If not then you're screen is damaged.

If there's an Apple store nearby make an appointment with the genius bar to have it checked. Be sure to sync it and back it up, as well as import your photos and videos to your computer and back up your contacts separately (such as by sync them with iCloud) in case it needs to be replaced.

Can only hear sound through headphones

i can only hear sounds on my ipod touch through my headphones

first try plugging and unplugging your headphones at least a dozen times really fast because somtimes the headphone jack sometimes has debris in it. i used to have the same problem.
if that doesnt work restore it back to factory defaults by going to the setting icon then go to the general bar, after that scroll al the way to the bottom and click reset, then click reset all settings after that if it still wont work do the same thing accept click on erase all content and settings

Why are you using two accounts? That is most likely creating the conflict. Try picking ONE ID, then try downloading a new app from the App Store on that ID and see if your other apps work.
