Can't import complete album

purchase album from itunes store,then try to import to ipod touch,& imports only some of the album.it's happened with two purchases.gives me a message
that errors occured with some of the files.can someone help me?

Try deleting the songs and redownloading by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

If you want to duplicate your Folder Tree in iPhoto:
Start at the bottom of the hierarchy and drag a folder of images to the Album Heading in iPhoto. The pics will be imported and an Album of the same name created.
You can then create the Enclosing Folders in the iPhoto Window (File -> New Folder) and drag the Album to it. Folders can contain other Folders (Nested Folders) and Albums.
However, is your folder system date based? Then this form of organisation is a bit pointless in iPhoto when Smart Albums or the Calendar tool (Click on the wee magnifying glass in the Search Box) mean you can find the photos taken on any day, month or year at a click. With Smart Albums it's easy to find photos from specific range - say, June 3 to August 25, 2009 etc.
If your folder system is theme based - Xmas pics, Birthday pics etc, then you'll find Keywords are much more flexible, and can be used in conjunction with other criteria for making Smart Albums and searches.

I can't download complete albums from iTunes with my iPod - only singles. If I want to download an entire album I have to do it with my computer and then connect and sync my device. Can anyone help me and tell me how I can download using my iPod? Thank you.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Not sure what you mean by transfer. I suspect you are trying to get it listed in iTunes as part of the album, in which case you can change the details in 'Get Info'.

Can't import new album from iPhone to iTunes??

I recently downloaded the new free U2 album to my iPhone but I can not import it into ITunes on my computer.
All others albums/songs will sync but not this album.
Any ideas????

The U2 album should be showing in your Purchases in iTunes. The following Knowledge Base article offers up the steps on how to download a previous purchase:

Click Purchased in the Quick Links section.
Select the content type that you want to download (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books).
Select Not in My Library to view purchased content that isn't on your computer.
Find the item that you want to download. You can browse using the menu to the left. If you have more than 2,000 songs, you'll see Recent Purchases instead of All Songs or Albums.
Click the Download icon next to the item you want to download.
If an item is already in your library, the Download icon won't appear.

Can't import an album into iTunes

a very strange thing is happening that i haven't experienced before. i'm trying to import an album of mp3's into itunes and it simply won't work.
-drag and drop . . . doesn't work
-file-->add to library-->(open) . . . doesn't work
-right click on specific song and try to play with itunes . . . doesn't work
-change name of each file slightly and then try to import . . . doesn't work
-airdropped files to my macbook air, tried all of the above . . . doesn't work
-play file in QuickTime . . . DOES work
any ideas? I'm stumped
running iTunes 11.1.5 on iMac

From a terminal, run the following with one of the filenames inserted:
hexdump <filename> | head -2
If you get this output, then you are seeing the same tag eating problem that has just consumed my entire music collection.

For me, good MP3s seem to start with 49 44 33 03, my corrupt ones start with 49 44 33 02. I noticed it on a few the other day, then today almost all of them have it and won't play in iTunes despite playing fine in Quicktime.
I am at a loss and very frustrated.

Does anyone knows how to import a visual album from a CD to iTunes? I bought Beyonce lastest album and i'm trying to import it to my iTunes but it keeps opening up in Windows Media Player anyone every done something like this before?

The checkmarks should be there, and if they are missing you may just have the column too thin. try clicking on the column header and then choosing 'auto size all columns'. If that doesn't bring back your checkmarks, try to uninstall and reinstall iTunes.

Can i skip complete albums when ipod is on album shuffle mode?

I enjoy having ipod set to album shuffle. however, when an album comes up that you're not in the mood for, its really annoying to have to skip through each of the songs to get to the next album. is there a way to skip the entire album to the next one?

Can't download complete albums

I've been unable to sync and download my entire selected photot albums to my new 4s Anyone know why it is only download a few pictures in each alum? The album is complete in i photo.

Sorry for that! Hopefully rebuilding your loop index will solve this.
To create a new loop index, that does not contain the references to the missing loops, remove the contents of the old loop index from the Apple Loops Index folder and then again drag the loops to the loops browser.
Quit GarageBand if it is running.
Remove the contents of the folder /Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index/ to another folder on your Desktop.
Relaunch GarageBand - now the Loop Browser should appear completely empty.
Drag all folders with loops onto the Loop Browser in GarageBand. This will reindex the Loops. After this, only loops installed on your machine should appear in the Browser.

P.S. if still broken references appear, you may have more than one loop index folder in your library. Then you need to search your library with Spotlight for all instances; see here:

After your photos have been imported from your Camera Roll or Saved Photos, you can use iTunes to sync them back to your device.
Additional Information
You can import only photo and video content taken with the built-in camera or captured on the device. You cannot import photo or video content synced from iTunes.

How can i import and order photo books from older iPhoto versions?

I have made a photobook which i have not ordered at apple yet. It's on another macbook still running iphoto 07 (unable to update iphoto, because to old for Mavericks)... Somehow i can't import this album on my laptop running iphoto 9.5.1 and order it from here...

Read again - the word "import" does not appear in either answeer - you never ever import one iPhoto library into another one
books do not actually exist - they are simply database entries - so you have to move the entire iphoto library
1 - rename it on the source machine
2 - Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) or use an external hard drive formatted Mac OS extended (journaled)
3 - drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac
4 - depress the opeion key and launch iPhoto on the new mac
5 - select the library with the book, convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward

Importing Complete Files as on Desktop

I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7 and lost my old Photoshop. It was simple and effective and the default program!
I purchased and have installed Elements 12, but that didn't automatically acquire the pictures in my file folders.
When I open them now it appears that the default program is windows photo viewer.
If the requirement is to import all my photos, I would like to do it so that my folders on the desktop look as before but with Elements as the editing program.
a) Can I import complete files to Photoshop?
b) Can I replace the old files with the Photoshop versions?
c) Can I make Photoshop the default program for new downloads - pictures from e-mail, camera, etc.?

C. I don't understand what you mean by "complete files". Please explain..
D. If you want to have photofiles open in PSE rather than in Windows Viewer, you need to establish a file association. To do that, right click on a file, and go to Open with>choose default program>PSE and check to always open this type of file with the program
E. The file format that you download is determined by the sender. In e-mail it is JPEG as a rule, but you can open a JPEG file in PSE, enhance it, and save it as a PSD file if you wish.

How to identify complete albums?

When choosing music on my 6th generation Nano by album, how can I identify complete albums vs albums that are represented by only one track (such as from a playlist)? I love the shuffle, playlist and genius features of iTunes, but sometimes I just want to listen to a complete album on my Nano and would like to identify them easily. Any suggestions?

You can put everything into the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder, but there are occasional horror stories about those files going missing. You can also add the entire media folder, but occasionally that can create duplicate entries in the library, particularly if you have split the media folder to a separate location on a drive that isn't permanently connected to your computer.

Import iPhoto ALBUMS via Photostream

Hello,
I bought a new MacBook and I want to import my photos and albums from my iMac. Only the photos are no problem but I can't import the album structure. How can I solve the problem without buying an external hard drive?

Directly from the phot app does present some roadblocks, but if you use a combination of GoodReader (pull the images into it) and Dropbox, you should be able to accomplish that. Works for me.
