Can't insert a dvd in the slot
Cannot insert a DVD into the DVD slot on my iMac running 10.8.3. DVD will go in the slot but will not stay in..Drive does not recognize anything inserted into it. Is there a way to correct this? Rebooting the machine does not work.
Zap the PRAM and Reset the SMC, then try again.

That's a wonderful question, ssmiley67. The iPhone 5s comes unlock for international use. Many of our LTE devices are unlocked for international purposes and work upon inserting the international SIM in the device.

How far do you have to sticka CD or DVD into the slot drive?
I literally have to stick the entire CD or DVD into the slot before it picks it up. Even if I just stick it in after 85% of the disk is in the slot, it'll take it and get stuck with some of the disk outside. Is this normal? Should I take it to a genius bar?
White MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz Mac OS X (10.4.8)I don't have a Macbook, but in both of my iMac's and iBooks I have to put it in almost all the way to get it to take the disc. If I try to insert the disc too slow, they tend to not get read and just spin until I eject and re-insert them a little quicker.
Interestingly my G3 iMac was not this finicky. It would take the disc after about 50% insertion, and as far as I know ws the last slot load Mac that could safely accept mini disc,... I wish they would re-add that capability. -
I have alot of loose photos at home (old) and I would love to make a bunch of iphoto books and make the pages like whole page collages? How do I get my photos into iphoto in order to do this? Can I make a DVD at the drugstore and add them to iphoto?
You can make the collages easily if you have iWork. Just open a letter sized page in landscape mode and drag the photos onto the page, rotate and postiion as necessary. Then do a Print ➙ PDF ➙ Save PDF to iPhoto to get a 200 dpi jpeg version of the Pages page into iPhoto. From there you can add it to your book and use a blank page with the option to have an image as the backbround.
If you have a 3rd party image editor that supports layers you can create the collage with it.

Jesús.There are multiple versions of Pages in circulation on Mavericks and Yosemite. Telling us which one helps with a more accurate answer.
If you are referring to Pages v5, then you cannot insert a table into the header or footer, because implicitly, these are table cells too. The discontinued Pages ’09 v4.3 would allow table insertion in the document header/footer fields. -
Can i copy a dvd to the hard-drive
i have a DVD the a friend of mine burned for me but i'd rather have it on the mac so i don't have to carry it everywhere. i don't know if it's posable to copy a DVD to the mac without having to buy some kind of software.
Of course you can - if it is non-copyrighted. Right click on the DVD icon and select "duplicate" then paste the duplicate wherever you want.

I can't insert my data into the table - help please

I have a trouble about JSP. I'm using Java2 SDK,JSP 1.2,Mysql and TOMCAT.
I want to do this. A user has to enter the nicno,into the html form(EnterNicInter.jsp),to verify if it is already exist or not. If it is exist in the db, an error msg(Record already exist) must be displayed. If not, then the page "InterviewForm.jsp" displayed. This part is working.
But, I can't save these details into the db by clicking submit button int the InterviewForm.jsp.

1) create a separate method just to connect and disconnect from a database;
2) use the value entered and see if you can find a record in the table. If the record is there, then you should re-direct your jsp to a jspError, else goes to another form.

Put this in your template in the starting,
where the P_BUSINESS_GROUP_ID is one of the concurrent program parameters,

and then you can access the parameter in your rtf like <?$P_BUSINESS_GROUP_ID?>
Upload the rtf template back into apps.

Can you insert a component in the mid?
This is a real practical problem I face when I work with my project on JSC (2004Q2 Update 7).
Say, I am designing a lenghty form for inputting data, and I am placing many components one bellow another.
Now I realise I have to insert a component in the mid. I can drag every component one by one bellow and thus allocate space for the new component.
But it is a time consuming and irritating task if I have already put many components.
Are there any shortcut ways to insert a component in the mid(other components should shift bellow automatically).
Please share your practical experiences with me. Thank you very much.Use the mouse to click and drag a rectangle surrounding the controls you need to move. This will "Select" all the included controls which can then be moved as a group instead of individually.

Probably not. Lightroom 4.3 is an update for the original release of Lightroom 4. Adobe doesn't create new installation disks for each update. But you could download 4.3 can create your own disk. Why do you need the DVD?

Can I insert an 8 cm DVD into the slot on a G5?
Having just come across an 8 cm disc in a colleagues camcorder, it seems unlikely and I'm loathe to risk it.
However previous models (my old G4 for instance) had a horizontal tray with an 8cm indent in the tray - surely things haven't gone backwards in the newer model?
