Can't install 620 patch

Hi all!!!
When I start the file to install patch i have an error:
Error occured while opening the XML document "c:\documents and settings\...\sappatch.xml" Document not found, line 0.
I've check this file - it exists!
Can't solve this problem, help pls!!!!

This is how I was able to successfully install the Lenovo Patch Utility:
1) Enable if necessary and log into the built-in Administrator account.
2) Run System Update.  Download and install the Lenovo Patch Utility (unsure if this is a necessary step,)
3) At this point, the Lenovo Patch Utility is not installed.  The previous version of the Lenovo Patch Utility will display in Programs and Features.
4) Run System Update under an administrator account.  Download and install the Lenovo Patch Utility (I ran this under a user-created Administrator account; unsure if works under built-in Administrator account..)  Lenovo Patch Utility will no longer appear in Programs and Features.  This indicates it has been succesfully installed.
5) Disable built-in Administrator account if desired for security reasons.

    Hello,
    I'm trying to install HP4 for ZDM7 on a Netware 6.5 server with SP8. ZDM 7 with SP1 is installed on the server. When I select the server to patch I get an error :
    We are unable to determine that ZENworks Desktop Management [version] is installed on [server name]. This can be caused by not having sufficient rights to the target server. Be sure that

    I have tried TID 3402203 but get the same error. What else could be the cause of this problem.

In the past when a patch did not instaqll I have had success by downloading and manually installing it, but I can't find the executable for this particular patch. Can anyone make a suggestion? Or point me to the executable?

  • Can't install 121118-12 on global zone

    Hi, after our first round of patching, we're starting again. So, I've had to upgrade my external LPS to latest patches to get it to work at all. It is now on 119788-09 and 121118-12. The patchsvr has been reconfigured to point to getupdates1.sun.com without the trailing "solaris/".
    So, I then tried to get my internal LPS working...proxy isn't running. smpatch pointed to the external (DMZ) LPS without a trailing "solaris/". Has patch revisions 119788-07 and 121118-08. Note, when I use the trailing "solaris/" then I get the "no patches" message. Without that, I now get a list of 40 patches (tho' I'm expecting about 190-odd as my external LPS is at the same patch levels otherwise and smpatch which points direct to Sun comes back with 196 patches).
    Just to confirm, my current.zip (/var/sadm/spool/cache/Database/http....***...current.zip) gives me a patchlist.delimited file that is 9419 lines long. That seems about right.
    So I thought - gosh! I really hope that this isn't going to be a 2-step patch process (currently running kernel rev 118833-24 and have seen a few warnings about going up to the mid-30s) so maybe I have to install the latest UC client patch for this to see that it needs more patches.
    But trying to run "smpatch add -i 121118-12" barfs and finishes with the following message;
    Patch 121118-12 failed to install due to a failure produced by pkgadd.
    WARNING: patchadd returned <5> for global zone
    pkgadd: ERROR: The package <SUNWppror> is currently installed on the system in the
    global zone. To install the new instance of this package in the global
    zone only, you must specify the -G option. To install the new instance
    of this package in all zones you must first remove the existing instance
    of this package from the global zone first (via pkgrm) and then install
    the new instance of this package in all zones.
    pkgadd: ERROR: package <SUNWppror> cannot be installed on this system/zoneSo, dutifully, I go to run (after unzip'ing my jar file); "patchadd -G 121118-12". The first time it says much like below, but to check the log file which says the bit above. Any subsequent attempts give up on telling you to look at the logfile because you should've already and just tell you this;
    # patchadd -G 121118-12

               0 Patch 121118-12 is for global zone only - cannot be installed on non-global zone.
    No patches to install.Funnily enough, I am running on my global zone, but patchadd and smpatch just can't seem to tell. Has there been a major update to patchadd that I've missed or is there some other reason that I can't install this patch? Do I really need to remove it all before patching again? If so, how is that affected by 119788 which also patches SUNWppror?
    Thanks for any help,
    Sally.

    Yes, there are relevant packages in that file;
    server # grep SUNW gz*
    # Last modified by <pkgadd> to <add> package <SUNWpkgcmdsu>
    SUNWapch2d
    SUNWapch2r
    SUNWapch2u
    SUNWexplo
    SUNWexplu
    SUNWexted
    SUNWnbcpp
    SUNWnbide
    SUNWpkgcmdsu
    SUNWppror
    SUNWpprou
    SUNWpsvrr
    SUNWpsvru
    SUNWsneep
    server # Does this file get updated whenever patchadd/pkgadd -G is used? If so, I would've only installed the update connection proxy server patches on the global zone alone as it is not supported within local zones and I would've seen no reason to install it on a local zone (waste of time).
    Also, when I was testing applying patches on zones, I would've run "patchadd -G" for some patches to see what the difference is, but I wouldn't have suspected that this would change the action of the patch forever more.
    Or have these packages gotten in there another way.
    Within one of my local zones, there are no SUNW packages in the /var/sadm/install/gz-only-packages file and yet the zone cannot remove the patch;
    myzone # patchrm 121118-12
    Validating patches...
    Loading patches installed on the system...
    Done!
    Checking patches that you specified for removal.
    Done!
    Global patches.
               0 Patch 121118-12 is for global zone only - cannot be removed on non-global zone.
    No patches to remove.
    myzone #but I guess that is because it is checking on the global zone at that stage. On that point, does a local zone know the name of the server its global zone is on? Can this be determined without being on the global zone?
    Thanks,
    Sally.

Can we install the Patches after the SAP installation or do i need to uninstall SAP and do t all over again. Please help asap as i need to complete it..
    Regards

    Hello Dee,
    > Can we install the Patches after the SAP installation or do i need to uninstall SAP and do t all over again
    Of course you can install the patchset after the SAP installation. The current patchset is the 10.2.0.4.
    After applying the current patchset - please install also the "on-top" patches - check sapnote #1137346 for this. Also check sapnote #830576 for setting the corresponding database parameters after the patchset installation.

    You found and hit the limitation of old software are unable to install on newer O/S. This is software limitation nothing Win8 can do to help you install a XP game or Program on Win8.

  • Can't install patch to WinProducer

    I have tried installing the patch to WinProducer 2, but I always get an error message, which I can't access now, but I think it was something like, "WinProducer invalid version, upgrade failed," which happens after the patch installation appeared to go OK.
    Why won't the winproducer patch work? I have all the latest capture and VGA drivers.
    .  I am running:
    athlon 2400
    asus a7n8x deluxe (latest drivers downloaded)
    corsair 512mb xms llpt (one chip)
    seagate barracude 120gb HD with 8mg cache
    mitusmi 16x dvdrom
    nec 52x24 cdrw
    MSI FX5600-VTDR128
    Thanks,
    Alan

    If you are using the MSI version of WinProducer then you are using an OEM version. The patch is probably for the full retail version. It will not work with an OEM vesrion unless the patch is supplied by the OEM version owner it this case MSI.

  • Can i install 10.2.0.4 patch set 14 on my client when SERVER is at 10.2.0.4

    ======================================================
    Can i install 10.2.0.4 patch set 14 on my client when SERVER is at 10.2.0.4 patchset 5?
    ======================================================
    We have a customer with DB on windows-2003 64 bit with following homes.
    At Server version:-
    DB version is 10.2.0.4 patchset 5,
    client1 is at 10.2.0.1.(patchset i am not sure)
    Client2 is at 10.2.0.4 patchset 5.
    Customer running some sqls which are taking more time from CLIENT2(10.2.0.4 patchset5) than CLIENT1(10.2.0.1). offcourse both CLIENTS connecting
    same DB. we identified a bug(6350579). This bug was resolved in 10.2.0.4 patch 14(7677781).
    Now my question is Can i apply this patch only at client side with out applying at DB level?
    I mean i will create one more new client called CLINET3 (with 10.2.0.4 and i will install 10.2.0.4 patchset14) and then run the SQLs from new client CLIENT3. is this supported method or not?
    Reason being customer does not want to install 10.2.0.4 patchset14 at DB since Customer is happy with DB performance.
    We are getting problem only when we connect to DB from cleint 10.2.0.4 patchset5. if we connect to DB from Client 10.2.0.1, SQL performance is very good.
    Please advise me on this.
    Regards
    Nagendra.

    You can upgrade your client with the latest patchset/bug fix (if you have tested it on some other machine and found that your issue has been resolved) but be prepared to handle any unusual errors that might arise due to this combination.
    Personally, I never prefer having a client running at a higher version than the server but there are some situations where we need to and we need to make sure that, even though Oracle must have tested certain scenarios, we do not run into errors. So test, test and test before changing anything in production.

  • Can Photoshop Elements 13 and Premier Elements 13 be installed/configured/patched standalone for security purposes (not linked to cloud, mobile, Microsoft, Adobe, etc)?

    We have installed a trial version of Photoshop Elements and plan to do so for Premier Elements. However, for security reasons, it is of no use to us unless we can install and use it standalone (not linked to cloud, mobile, Microsoft, Adobe, etc.). Can Photoshop Elements 13 and Premier Elements 13 be installed/configured/patched standalone as described above? If so, what do we need to do regarding installation/configuration/patching to test this?  Thanks in advance.

  • Can't install patches 8.0.1 and 8.0.2 for robohelp 8

    I installed Robohelp 8 on an XP workstation and now trying to install (update) patches 8.0.1 and 8.0.2. No errors, they just don't install. Has somebody else encountered this issue?

    I asked as I have seen discrepancies but that looks OK.
    Has the machine been rebooted since installing RoboHelp?
    Is this a first time install of RoboHelp? If not I wonder if there is something old in the registry causing a problem. You could try uninstalling with RevoUninstaller and then reinstalling. Use the Advanced setting in RevoUninstaller but only if you are happy using such programs, otherwise involve IT.
    I don't know what else to suggest apart from contacting Tech Support as an installation issue.
