Can't install After Effects CS5

Hi all
I need help; I just picked up Adobe After Effects CS5, but I can't install it because it says it is "only installable on a 64-bit system." I'm running Windows XP SP3, and I see no reason why it shouldn't work. Adobe Support Advisor also picked up no issues with it.
Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

The CS5 video products - Premiere Pro CS5 , and After Effects CS5 require 64-bit processor and OS. Please see the system requirements page for details.

How can I install after effects on 32 bit operating system?
I cant even find it in creative cloud.
I want to make a intro but it dossent allow me to even find/ istall it.

If your system does not meet the minimum system requirements you have to go back to a version that does. Try the direct download links you'll find here.. CS5 comes bundled with CS4 for AE which is the last version to run on a 32 bit system.

Can't install After Effects as full version

Hi, I can't install After Effects as full version although veing customer of the complete CC. With all the other programs it works fine (I installed them via desktop application) but after effects is still shown as test version. And this free trial is over now. Instead of giving me the intsall or udpate button ot shows the buy-button. Has anyone had the same problem or knows what to do? Many thanks

If you did all the process correct, and your plan is paid I only see one way to solve this issue.
Follow this steps and for sure your problem will be solved.
Windows
Choose Start > Run, type %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc, and then press Enter.
Right-click the hosts file and select Open. Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file.
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example,127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
Save and close the file.
Mac OSLog in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.
In a Finder window, choose Go > Go To Folder.
Type /etc.
Select the hosts file and open it.
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example,127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
Save and close the file.
After editing this Hosts file, open Adobe creative cloud and log in once again. Is important that you start once again the session so Adobe creative cloud recognizes that Hosts file was edited.
You can do this by clicking in:
Preferences»Log out.

I am tired of the complete disregard Adobe shows to its customers.
I can't install After Effects. All other apps do install.

Marcos-Brazil what error messages do you receive when you try to install After Effects? What version of After Effects are you attempting to install? What operating system are you using?

Why I can't install after effect cc 2014?

I can only install the CS6 but I need the CC (for warp stabilizer VFX).

How to install After Effects CS5.5(64-bit) with After Effects CS4 installer(32bit)?

I have purchased After Effects CS5.5 unknowingly it is only for 64 bit system.My system is 32 bit.When I read a Adobe help page I got to knew that 32 bit users can install AE CS5 and above with help of a AE CS4 installer.Please help me how to do this.My system specs are:
Windows 7 32-bit
Intel Core i3 3.2 Ghz processor
2 GB ram

Cannot Install After Effects CS5 Trial

I'm not sure what to do, I downloaded the installer fine, but when it comes to installing pops up with something about only working on 64 bit systems, I'm a bit stupid when it comes to things like this, what do I do?

i have adobe cs5 master collection and every thing was fine untill my computer crashes due to virus i finally i install windows 7 on my computer.
and when i try to install my adobe cs5 master collection on my new os every thing installed except after effects and i am getting an error message.?

and it has os requirement not met i have windows 7 professional with 64 bit.
first message says some required components may have failed to install.
this could impact functionality of installed applications.
some of the solution they are providing.
1.restart the application.
2.exti all applications including start up items virus checking and firewall software.
3.launch the installer and reinstall your application.

Can't install After Effects trial but can install other Adobe programs?

I've been trying to download the After Effects trial on my Vista for the past two hours to no avail, with "Error 107". I've tried the troubleshooting on your website, following "Solution 1", clearing cookies, deleting files, trying the download through Chrome AND Internet Explorer, the good old restart the computer, saving the Download Assistant in multiple locations, and NOTHING worked. So I tried seeing if this was the case for all Adobe programs, and every other one works perfectly through the ADA. The problem seems to lie within the After Effects. What's going on and how can I solve this?

Do you have a 64-bit version of Vista?
You cannot install or run After Effects CS5/5.5 on any of the following operating systems:
32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows XP Home or Professional

Unable to install after effects cs5, photoshop 64x and premiere pro

Hello, i am unable to install after effects premiere pro and photoshop 64x from the cs5 suite, i think these are all 64bit programs right? I am running windows 7 64bit so i have no idea what the problem could be, anyone who has some advice?

Where can I download After Effects CS5.5?

I got a new computer because my old one broke so I lost the After Effects CS5.5 and it's the only program I have a code for. I searched on the Adobe site and they only offer CS6. Is there anywhere I could download 5.5 again?

Want to install After Effects CS5, can't find disk.

Last year I won a giveaway and recieved a full edition of CS5. When I was installing, I picked and chose programs to install (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Flash, Dreamweaver.) I did not pick After Effects. Unfortunately, now I want to install it--And I can't find the disk. I can see that on my products listed on the Adobe site I can find my serial number for the Suite. Where can I download or get an additional disk for After Effects?
