Can't install applications...HELP!

I just bought my iTouch today and I've been trying to download some games. I go to the App Store and select the game, enter my username & password and then I get this..."Authorization failed. Please connect to iTunes."
Anyone know what to do?

Have you tried the following
*Power iPod Touch off/on slide to power off.
-Hold down the top button on top left hand side of touch till you see a slide to power off. Once it is off. Press same button till you see an Apple logo. Now download an App once it is running.
*Authorize your PC/Mac

*Download a free App on iTunes application on the PC/Mac
-Sync this App to the iPhone, Now go ahead and try and download one from the iPod Touch

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again.

How can I install applications on my palm treo 600 using memory card and a reader???

I tried so many times installing applications such as games and other software on my treo 600, but nothing shows in the launcher. I don't have a hotsynch tahts why this is my only option. I can see theapplications I download from my laptop to my treo 600.
When I download using a pc, it is in zip file, then I extract it. Latly, copy paste to my memory card. Is there something wrong about it? Please help... I don't have any application on my treo 600. Its been a week exploring, but still don't get the answer.

HotSync is a program, not something to be purchased on eBay!
It is part of a free program from Palm called "Palm Desktop". Go to the pages Hook directed you to, download and install the program.
You can then install programs to your Palm correctly! You will not need the CD.
You will need a program called Documents To Go to easily use Microsoft Word and Excel files. This will have to be purchased from Dataviz.com. Be sure to look for a version that is compatible with your device.

Can't install applications because iPod Touch is asking for additional security, but unable to save changes.

I can't install an application becouse the Apple Store is asking for additional security questions but the system is unable to save the security unswers provided.

i am having this exact problem, installing through itunes works fine but obviously i wont have itunes available when im out, its driving me mad i cant install anything because the third security question just stays highlighted blue and i cant select a question which obviously means i cannot continue to install....has ANYBODY got a solution please?

I wanted to update Mail for Exchange, so thru phone uninstalled the application then went to OVI store(asked to update first) to download/install latest Mail for Exchange.
After download, when installing it returned a "Certificate Error, contact provider". I tried to install other applications from OVI store, same error.
If I try to install thru OVI suite (updated) it returns the error: 2153775105. To do this I copy from my phone card\data\install an application from NOKIA, what it does is to install OVI store at phone.
I already done a reset to the phone, changed the settings to allow installation without certificates and even tried to change the phone date.
I saw in Google several people with the same problem.
I have a 5320 (no new firmware as been released)

you should set Online Certificate Check to "OFF" to rectify the issue.
You can set it OFF by doing the steps below:
1. Menu
2. Settings
3. Phone Settings
4. Applications
5. App. Manager
6. Set Online Certificate Check to "OFF"
7. "Software Installation" should also be set to "ALL"
another way is;
1. Menu
2. Settings
3. Phone Settings
4. Data Manager
5. Application Manager
6. Options
7. Settings
8. Set Online Certificate Check to "OFF"
9. "Software Installation" should also be set to "ALL"
After you have done the steps above, clear your phone's web browser's cache:
1. Menu
2. Internet
3. Web
4. Options
5. Clear Privacy Data
6. Cache
After which, turn off and on phone then try to install application again.

Can't Install Application Server 8 for J2EE on win XP

Today i was installing Sun AppServer 8 on (Win XP) but there was a problem and it was aborted and windows forced to shutdown. WhenI reach the installation Directory Creation dialog (C:\Sun\AppServer), it hangs up and never proceeds to installation.
I have tried twice and got the same error.
I read in the release notes that it can be installed on winXP!
Any know issues?

Can't Install Applications - Please Help

I have an iMac that has been working fine, and then out of the blue, I tried to install something and it won't let me install it.
The installed pops up an icon that asks me to drag the icon to the Applications icon and when I do that, I get this error message:
"The alias "Applications" can't be opened because the original item can't be found"
How can I fix this?
In the Finder, under Places, there is something that says Applications and it lists all of my apps however, if I click on my actual login name, and go the the Applications folder there, it is blank.

You are not going to see a applications folder under you user folder. Applications live in other Devices.
I think you maybe installing this particular app. wrong. How about delete it and any alias. Do a fresh download of the app. and open the package. Drag the app to the appl folder on the sidebar of the finder and see if this works.

Can't Install Application On Window 8.1

I just buy a new laptop with Windows 8.1 installed, 64 Bit. Everytime I try to install a third party application, it tried to install Microsoft .NETFramework v2 first, but then it always said that "The installation of Microsoft.NET Framework v2 has
failed" and exit.
I don't quite understand about it, so I try to install the .net framework from other source, but it always said that it has already installed.
Then I use netfx_setupverifier_new.zip and get this log:

Some application do need .Net framework, So, please follow the steps below to add other .net version to your system.
Win+X, then choose Programs and Features,
Click Turn Windows features on or off, then, check .NET Framework 3.5.

Can't Install Application

Each time I try to install an application in Mountain Lion (10.8.2) I get the following error message when I drag the .app file to the Applications folder: "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items."
My current settings in Security is to Allow applications downloaded from: Mac App Store and identified developers. I did try to change it to "Anywhere" but that didn't work either.

Sorry, that's what I meant. If you don't own the app that is in there, you can't replace it with another. You have to first delete that app, then put the new one in. Odd, but that's the way it is.
