I would like to be able to listen to music from my iphone through the device.
Not looking for something fancy.
What specs do I have to look for? Version 2.0? A2DP? Any specific models recommended?

A2DP is a Bluetooth profile. If both Bluetooth devices have that profile, then they can share information in that way. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_profile

download the new you tube apps in i tunes, in os6 just pick a video in the photos apps and select share, the old you tube app icon will appear

Are you not seeing the icon of the app you just downloaded (it happens sometimes, and the quick fix is to reset your iPad)? Or are you running out of space on your iPad?

Can't play music from the iPhone when it's connected to another computer

One of the things I liked about my iPod was that I could take it to work, connect it to my PC, and play the music directly from it on my PC. Now I can't because all the music's grayed out. I can live without manual updates but PLEASE allow us to play the music from the iPhone.

Our experience is a little different, we have different iTunes accounts for different family members, each family member has their own iTunes library on their own mac, each mac uses my Apple ID for homesharing and we are able to play purchased content from each library on the Apple TV.

As far as I know you can't, which sort of makes sense, it seems logical to pause whatever you are doing while you take a phone call, which after all is the primary function of a phone.

You can't go directly from the Touch to the Shuffle, but if you can get the music into your itunes library on your computer, you'll be able to sync that music to the Shuffle no problem. Are you pressing the Sync button to transfer music after connecting your iPhone or do you have the option checked to 'Automatically Sync when the iPhone is connected?'
Have you tried manually dragging and dropping music from your library into your phone?

The way I do it is I hook to my windows computer, it will pop up iTunes. I click iTunes off. The phone will show as another drive on your computer. Click it open then migrate to the photos folder from the iPhone.
Then select all, cut then right click on your pictures folder on your computer or make a new folder on your desk top like I do and right click on new folder and select paste.
Photos will be gone. Just remember to turn off the iPhone sync in your photos folder on the phone or they will come back

HELPPP please, i had to refresh my computer due to a virus so lost all of my itunes music (the ones I'd uploaded by hand) they are still on my iphone5, how can I put all the music from the iphone back onto itunes? And why is this so difficult ??

So my computer had to be refreshed, I had ripped my CD's to iTunes and also purchased some, the purchased ones are still on iTunes but all of the ones that I had ripped have gone. I have them on my iphone 5, is there a way to put all of the music from the iphone back on to itunes? Have tried "Googling" without success have tried a converter app but still no joy. PLS HELP !!!

Restore them from the backup of yoru computer...

Can you listen to music on the iPod Classic without the headphones?

The Classic does not have an internal speaker, so either you need to:
plug in headphones
connect the iPod to an amplifier and speakers (from the headphone socket)
connect it to an iPod Dock cable and plug that into an amplifier
Place the iPod into the Dock on something that has a Dock connector and amplifier built in.
