Can't install apps... tells me to "verify your payment info"

I tried to download an app and i forgot my password and tried the wrong one too many times.. it told me to go to my computer to log in.
I did that and changed my password.
But now, I try to download an app and this msg keeps popping up!!
"Verification Required
Before you can make purchases, you must go to the iTunes Store on your computer and verify your payment information."
What do i do to verify my payment information?! My credit card info is already saved and stuff! I've never ever had a problem with downloading apps until the day i tried my password a whole bunch of times

Well I have pretty much the same problem as described, I just bought my new Ipod touch, I also just got a new bank account and dont have the CC yet, so I selected Paypal as the payment type and went in and added my new bank routing and account number to Paypal, even transfered 5$ to Paypal, then used it to register as a payment type on Itunes. It seemed to work great at first, let me on and I downloaded a few free things, then I went to paypal and decided to REMOVE an older prepaid Netspend credit card on there since I had added my new bank info and didnt want the Netspend card taking my money, and as soon as I REMOVED my credit card in Paypal, Itunes said I needed to verify payment info, then when I click Paypal on the first screen it takes me to Paypal's site ONLY to where I can add a credit card and it wont let me just use my bank info! I even tried to re-add the old CC but apparently it is too old and theres not enough funds on it or something. WHY could I use Paypal as a payment type with my bank account info AND money in my paypal at first then suddenly cause I removed an old CC with no money on it Itunes went nuts!? PLEASE help folks, I dont know what to do since the last person said they emailed Apple and were told to REMOVE their info and thats what started my issue!! Thanks

I even switched credit card it keeps saying the same thing....... THIS IS NOT FAIR........ I WANNA UPDATE MY APPS!!!!! Why not simply remove yoru payment info by selecting None at top?

Not an urgent question, however I would like some help.
EA Games ran a great promotion over the holidays that offered free iphone/ipod and ipad games. I won a few but have not been able to access the games due a weird bug. Everytime I attempt to redeem the code on my iphone in the app store or via Itunes app a pop-up appears "before you can make purchases, you must tap Continue to sign in, then verify your payment info." I'd happily click the continue button if there was one. But there isn't. I click on for the pop-up to move on and I'm back at the screen that asks me to redeem. Which I do and the pop-up returns. I'm fully logged in my payment method works for other app purchases or updates but not these EA codes. Very odd.

You can create an app store account without a credit card by following this guide exactly: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534. Note that you have to start by downloading and installing a free app and then create the new ID.

I want to download a free ap, i get the verification required message and sign in. But then i get a notice telling me that "Your acct has been accessed from a new computer or device, and you must verify your payment info before you can make purchases."

I noticed that my credit card info is old. I'm wonering if that could be the reason for the notice. OR does it reallly mean that my account has really been accessed by another source? Of course, this is the first time seeing this and it's Easter!

It means that is is the first time that the device that you are using has been used to make a purchase in the iTunes Store.
I get the same message whenever I buy a new iPhone or iPad. It's normal.

Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.

Sign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

Beyond that, what you need to do is contact iTunes support, they can tell you exactly what is wrong, none of us here can do that.

The last app is needed for when I do work. It doesn't need to run on the background. When I'm doing work, I need to input some information in that app, and sync it to my company's server.
I would like to install some apps (free) of my choosing. But I'm coming across a hurdle...
I choose "App Store" in Home.
I search for a free App (for example the Google Search app by Google Inc)
I'm taken to the app's info screen. I tap the blue "Free" button.
The button becomes a green "Install App" button.
I get a pop-up box saying

How can I install apps of my choosing without having a "work app" get deleted? This work app was installed on the "[email protected]" Apple ID.

I logged out of my AppleID on the iPod, took it to his computer, synced it, which erased all of my apps. I installed the default apps plus one app that he bought using his account info.
You made his computer the syncing computer.
When you did this:
Connected to my Mac and iTunes and tried to sync one of the apps I bought with my account. The app shows up on one of the pages before you start the sync, but once you apply the sync, it does not transfer.
And, of cause, no restrictions set at all.
You changed syncing computers but you can only sync apps (and some other things like photos) from only your one syncing computer.

The problem is when i drag n drop downloaded apps from torrentz into itunes n syncronize it add those apps into my itouch ... but the message shown in my i touch is .. that application failed to install..
in the itunes those appliacations are unchecked automatically ... but i can install apps which are downloaded from the istore .... they are working properly
but the ones i downloaded from the torrentz are not getting installed..
