Can't install CC package after failed initial installation - Mac OS X

Hi,
Recently my institution took the plunge and made the move to adopt Creative Cloud. As part of the switchover from CS5, I'm being used as one of the guinea pigs.
Upon first-time installation of the provided Creative Cloud package (which has installed correctly for others in my office), my iMac shut down, this obviously interrupting the installation. After restarting I Googled what to do and found forum entries on what files to remove (as there were some left over form the first installation) and followed them.
Unfortunately, when I try to install the package it fails with a generic message, and nothing is installed. I also can't run the uninstaller (same error).
Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated!

Correct diagnosis. When I went back and downloaded the PowerPC version, it worked fine. The Intel version works fine on my MacBook Pro, too!

[FIXED]Can't install any packages after Syu

So I did my first ever pacman -Syu today and I'm having severe pacman issues now. At the bootup screen, it will complain about how it is unable to mount the pacman database. Whenever I try to install a new package, I get hundreds of lines worth of errors, all the them ending in "already exists in filesystem."
I'll post more of the output later tonight when it cools down in my apartment, the laptop this is all happening on is having overheating problems at the moment.
In the meantime, ideas??

So you have /var/lib/pacman on a separate partition? From you description, pacman can not find that folder and so does not know which package any of the files on your system come from. So it sounds like a mounting issue rather than a pacman issue.

Can't install Elements 10 after I bought it in 2012 on my new iMac. I have redownloaded, uninstalled, called Adobe, online chatted with them, am on hold now for 1.5 hours. Can anyone please help me. My computer that Elements was originally installed on was stolen in a burglary. I just want what I have already purchsed. One message told me that my serial number was wrong, but it is not wrong!

....and in addition to reading the link Todd posted, it would probably make much more sense to post a few specs of your hardware, so someone could at least take a guess at what might be going on. You know, not much point to just saying that something doesn't work when we cannot possibly have the slightest clue about your specific audio hardware and its settings. Could be anything from bad drivers to genuine problems in AE, but who's to say?

How can I install multiple packages in one time?

I use Software Update on this PowerBook to download, keep the packages and install onto my 3 Mac's.
The question is how can I install multiple packages (update stuff) in one time (as we can do with Remote Desktop)? Just to save my time from retarting the machines for every single (required) packages.

Happy New Year Ekapon,
Instead of downloading the packages in advance,
check (Software Update default) every software you need, then choose "Install & Keep Package" from the Install menu.
This will install everything without needing to update prebindings and restart between each installation.

I have changed my OS from Win XP to Win XP Pro. Now I try to install Common Modules but when I try to launch it, the setup is visible in the Windows Task Manager but nothing happens. Do you have some idea to help me?

Hello
First of all be sure you install all stuff in the right installations order. That means Common Modules must be installed before you start installation of any other Toshiba tool or utility.
Common modules can be installed like any other application following installations wizard.
Unfortunately I can not tell you anything because I dont know which installations order you have used.
Try to explain exactly how you make OS installation and OS configuration. Check also delivered Tools & Utilities CD. I am not 100% sure but maybe there you can find html document with exact installations order.

A version of software required to install this update was not found on this volume." I read the threads about installing update package failed and reinstall Office follow: http://www.office.mvps.org/install/reinstall_office2011.html, but, I can't install update package still.

Actually, I have one hard disk drive only and there are two partitions on it, and I installed Mac 10.6 and Office 2011 on partition 1 and installed Mac 10.7 on partition 2 recently, is it the point of the issue?
I removed the Office 2011 installed at partition 1 by running "Remove Office 2011 Uninstaller.pkg" introduced in the "http://www.office.mvps.org/install/reinstall_office2011.html", after did this, I can't install 14.1.0 update package still, the problem is same.

Actually, you cannot download Snow Leopard. You downloaded a Snow Leopard updater.

I mean it starting saying time remaining about 6 munites
Now it up to time remaing about -55 munites
I thing something is wrong with this installation and all I did is fallow the onscreen instruction

You might want to just manually power down your machine and, if necessary, start the installation process anew. You're unlikely to damage anything by doing this. It may have actually installed and is just hanging when it's supposed to reboot.
