Can't install Creative Suite 6 on Windows 7 sp 1

I just downloaded CS6 and when I hit the setup.exe I got the message "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. " I downloaded the Support Advisor and it said it could not identify any issues. I It gave me a token number and I hit the button that says "Package for Support." When you do that it says something about only support can see the log but there's no info about how to contact support, if they're going to contact me, or whatever. I used the Akamai download manager as I was downloading thru Internet Explorer and it can't handle more than 4 GB. So what now?

Can you try instaling the software from the selective start up or Safe mode and the check.

You cannot install CS5.5 Windows onto your Mac.
You must either purchase a new copy of CS6 for your Mac or join the Creative Cloud (and pay the monthly fee).
If you join the Cloud you can then install CS6 (and soon version CC) on both your Mac and Windows for the same membership fee.

Can't install creative suite 5.5

I can't install Creative Suite 5.5 on a PC running Windows 7. Have tried twice but keep getting "Your installation encountered errors". The most recent time shows 2 error messages:
ERROR: DS011: No media information provided for removable source location
ERROR: DW013: Cannot initialize payload session
Any suggestions?

OK, I figured out how to get the install log - on my latest (3rd) attempt to install (and between each time powering down and back on again before trying to install again), I got the same 2 errors messages as indicated in my original post. The Install Log is as follows:

Can't install Creative Suite CS5.5 on Macbook Pro

I recently purchased a new Macbook Pro and tried to install the trial of Creative Suite CS 5.5 Master Collection.
After pressing the "Download Now" button, a new window opened up saying "Install Adobe Download Assistant."
When I double click that, the download window opens up. But the whole download bar has been loaded, nothing happens. No window pops out or whatsoever.
I tried to contact Apple to see whether they could help me, and the person told me that a possibility is that the system reuirement states that it's compatible for "Mac OS X v10.5.8 or v10.6; Mac OS X v10.6 required for Adobe Flash Builder™." Apparently the one I bought is a newer version of 10.7.
Do you maybe have an installer for the 10.7 version? Or any other solution to this problem?

I have bought Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium, Student and Teacher Edition. I own an IMac and Macbook Pro. I have installed the Creative Suite onto my IMac. I have recently bought my Macbook Pro. Can I install the creative suite onto my Macbook as well as having it already installed on my IMac? I'll need to use both computers at the same time when running the programs in the creative suite.

Thanks for that. So I'm not supposed to use both at the same time, or am I not able to? Because I usually do use my laptop when travelling but often still have the same programs open on the laptop still while I jump onto my Imac and use the same programs.

I have Creative Suite 5.5 - Production Premium on a laptop and PC. Someone is building me a new PC. I want to keep using the software on my old computer while it's being built. That computer will disappear in the end as parts are removed to use in the new. Is there a problem with installing on my new PC while it is still on the old and my laptop? Can I have 3 installations so long as I don't use any at the same time as another?

you can only install and activate on, at most, 2 computers at any one time.
you can deactivate (help>deactivate) and uninstall on your dying computer and maintain your 2 installation/activations.

Reformatted, reinstalled Lion, can't install Creative Suite 3

I have a dual Hard drive. I reformatted both to be rid of iCloud.
Installed the them both first with Snow Leopard (Maxtor first, then Baracudda)
then reinstalled Lion onto the Baracudda and turned off iCloud for everything
except mail.
Re-installed MS 2009 for Mac, and iWorks, but my Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium will not even boot up
for reloading. I went through all the steps (so far) in troubleshooting and in Safe Mode and received the following
message, but note sure what to do, or whether they are talking about Lion or the Software.
Adobe does not have anything on thier site as an installer (the last time I reinstalled the same thing occurred but
luckily it "caught" on an attempt and loaded. Adobe believes that because they put out 2 more versions since
2008 they don't own me any support on this $1200.00 software now.
Anyone have any suggestions on this? I hate to add anymore programs until I get this one in, then I plan to use the
Maxtor as the back-up drive for the Baracudda.

Grant you lost me ... not sure when you are talking about the Mac OS vs Adobe CS3.
I have installed the CS3 onto Leopard and Snow Leopard, and I have run it okay after I installed Lion
while it was on.
Now that I have Lion on both HD's, are you saying that may be why CS3 will not re-install? If so, one
would think that I would still be able to download the online version but nothing at all downloads.
They had me go through so many hoops (even to install Firefox) to see if IT downloads, now they want me to
see if I can download it into my laptop - but I don't USE it on the laptop, I do most of my work on the desktop!
I am seriously considering filing a formal complaint with the FTC. A $1200.00 program bought 5 years ago
should still be usable in my humble opinion, but they are now up to series 6. Sounds like Microsoft putting out a new cmoputer every 18 months ! That is why I switched to MAC.

I bought creative suite cs6, the cd, and downloaded a trial while i waited for them to accept my proof of academic status, and now it's been accepted and i have some sort of serial number.
But I don't know where I can download the proper indesign from the numbers i got in the email???

You simply input the serial in your trial version: Help --> Activate. If it doesn't work, simply reinstall using the DVD from your package.

My family has Adobe Creative Site CS5.5. We have three computers and have it installed on 2 of the 3. I was wondering how computers I can install it on.
Also, one of the computers are broken. Is there a way I could deactivate the lisense for only that computer?

You can install the Adobe Software on any number of computer but can activate it on 2 computers only which limits the use of Adobe Software on 2 computers however you can de-activate the software on one computer and activate on 3rd machine and can continue the cycle which will allow to use the application on 3 computer but deactivation and activation need to done.

Good luck, I have tried every method the Adobe tech support recommends; I have also tried every suggestion I have found online to no avail. I have a CS4 installation that does not include Dreamweaver, Acrobat and Illustrator, three of the apps I use the most. I have spent weeks trying to install on a Vista Business laptop and am mad and frustrated. Microsoft problem or Adobe, I don't care. Till Adobe support addresses this issue they get a big thumbs down from me. Think twice about purchasing CS4!
