Can't Install CS4 properly. Please help.

I've looked around, this forum and other forums for help, but nothing has availed.
I have tried so many things such as running the winCS4cleanupScript.
Problem:
When i try to install CS4, everything seems fine until a message pops up saying,
Installation has failed, following programs failed to install, adobe premiere & some other program.
I click continue, and happens again to all the programs.
In the end the error code was 1603, Looked something like this:
Adobe Photoshop CS4
Error:
Error 1603. Fatal error during installation.
Adobe Bridge CS4
Error:
Error 1603. Fatal error during installation.
Adobe Device Central CS4
Error:
Error 1603. Fatal error during installation. etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

Follow the mentioned below steps it will work for you.
1) Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
2) Download, unzip, and run the Adobe Windows CS3 Cleanup Script (which relies on the Windows program mentioned above to run) here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html
Please run level 3 of the cleanup script to make it work.
As I said before, even though the Cleanup Script says it’s for CS3, it did work for me in installing CS4 as well.
Note: This is something we should use with Win 32 not with Win 64.

Cannot Install CS4. Please Help!!

I downloaded a 10 segment CS4 package from my university software site. My download window shows all parts were downloaded sucessfully but I cannot install. Bear with me, I'm still in computer "tech" learning and lingo. They are all .dmg extenstions. When I try to open, say, part 1, there is a warning saying "no mountable file systems". Try to open part 2, and warning says "missing parts 1,3, 9" though they are present. I ran Adobe Support Advisor and it said that I needed to update a certain font, but wouldn't tell me which one. I ran the download through Firefox, if that matters. I looked through their support forums and found no help. Can someone please help?? I've spent hours trying to install this. I'm about ready to give up and scrap it, but I really need some of the Suite, especiallly Illustrator.

Can't install 9.2 please help!!

I am trying to install 9.2 on a computer that was previously used for Linux. Here's the big problem. I can't find the hard disk.
There's no icon for it, so when I try to install to a destination drive, there's nothing. I did see a "network disk" choice in my startup disk control panel, but it doesn't do anything when I restart.
I'm really frustrated. Please help.

If that drive was last used for Linux, you will probably need to reformat (initialize) the drive so that OS 9 can use it. Note that doing this will erase the entire drive.
You can use OS 9's Drive Setup utility to do that, while booted to the OS 9 Install CD. You'll find Drive Setup in the Utilities folder on all OS 9 Install CDs.

Can't Install after effects please help

i have adobe cs5 master collection and every thing was fine untill my computer crashes due to virus i finally i install windows 7 on my computer.
and when i try to install my adobe cs5 master collection on my new os every thing installed except after effects and i am getting an error message.?
can you please help me out to install after effects on my new os.? the error message is some of the features are missing.? thats why after effects installation can't be completed.?

and it has os requirement not met i have windows 7 professional with 64 bit.
first message says some required components may have failed to install.
this could impact functionality of installed applications.
some of the solution they are providing.
1.restart the application.
2.exti all applications including start up items virus checking and firewall software.
3.launch the installer and reinstall your application.

Can't Install Windows Program -PLEASE HELP

This is now my 3rd attempt at trying to install stupid Windows on my Mac (need for merchant account and quickbooks).
Anyway, I ordered Microsoft XP 2000 Home OEM. I actually go a link from a person on this board. I am a little concerned because the packaging and CD says 'to be distributed with a new PC'. It has been my problem that I have been using Free software and it won't take the Free version.
Okay, here is what I have done so far
1. Partitioned HD for Windows in Bootcamp
2. Inserted new Windows CD
3. Screen goes White(ish) and you here the Windows (bong).
4. CD ejects
5. Screen goes black and then you get a message that says 'no bootable device insert boot disk press any key)
6. Reinsert CD, nothing happens
Concern is there is some old Windows on this when I have tried to download in the past. I however cannot find anywhere and believe that I ahve removed everything. I did download a trial version of Parallels and tried to download another Windows version, but I removed everything from my computer that had to do with Paralles (or so I thought...even emptied trash).
So, I am DESPERATE!! PLEASE HELP

Here is where I am now...
I was able to remove Windows from Bootcamp.
I go through the set up again.
I get through everything and it says the computer will reboot and continue with setup.
During the reboot, the disk ejects, then I get a black screen that says Disk Error press any key. Nothing happens when you press a key and you have to manually shut down. When I reboot, I get two icons, MAC HD and Windows HD. Yet, nothing comes up when I click on Windows HD.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. I have spent hours on this and I really don't think I am THAT stupid.
I know people don't get paid to help, but if someone could walk me through this. Mac won't help me.

Can't install quicktime 7 please help!

I installed the newest itune (7) yesterday and tried to install quicktime 7 on my g4 cube. I am running tiger and quicktime 7 will not install. It keeps saying try again later. I have repaired all permissions, restarted the computer, but still will not insatll. PLEASE HELP!

rather than running the Installation "online", try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to your hard drive (the desktop is a fine location) and then running the install from there by doubleclicking the QuickTimeInstaller.exe file.
Does that install go through any better?

Can't install iTunes 7 - please help!

I can't install iTunes 7 - whilst installing the Quicktime part it says it can't access HKEYLOCALMACHINES/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/current version/uninstall/quicktime and that i need to check i have access to this. I don't have quicktime installed, and have tried to install it in safe mode logged in as administrator, but it says that the administrator has made rules preventing me from doing it. What's going on??

Can't install Snow Leopard, please help

I just purchased a new SSD and put it into my MacBook Pro and am replacing my old HDD. I also just purchased Snow Peopard as I lost my original discs and can't see to even run the os install disk. When I power on my MBP it just stays at a blank white screen. I've tried booting holding the apt (option) key as well as the "c" key and nothing happens. I can hear it reading the disk.

Do you know what version of the OS shipped with your MacBook Pro? Or when you bought it?
Generally, you can't boot a Mac with a disk that has an older operating system than the one it shipped with.
As far as I know, the only retail Snow Leopard disks are 10.6.3, so if your Mac shipped with 10.6.4 or later, it won't boot with that disk.
If that is the case, you can contact AppleCare and you will likely be able to order the original disks that came with your Mac. I think they just charge for shipping.
10.6.4 shipped after about June of 2010.

Can't install new software PLEASE HELP!!!

I recently had a need to reinstall the original 10.2.1 on my ibook g3. Since this time, i have been unable to install osx updates, or reinstall the original 10.2.1 software (after the first reinstall, that is) As well I cannot install other programs. I have used disk utility and everything seems to check out in first aid (permissions, etc.). I had been using 10.2.8 before the first reinstall.
the first time i reinstalled 10.2.1, i did not use disk utility, and iphoto and quicktime did not work (i did not notice this at first) Software restore cd's are also not working. They have actually crashed the computer every time.
when installing programs (stuffit, for example) i am being told that "disk copy helper" has encountered a problem.
when installing osx updates, i am being told that the installer has encountered an error.
when i try and reinstall from cd, midway through installation the screen goes black with small white text on the left that reads that i have encountered a serious error and must restart.
I will greatly appreciate any ideas, big or small!!!!

-Why did you need to reinstall?
-Did you do an Erase & Install or an Archive & Install?
-What size is the Hard Drive, and how much space is available?
-How much RAM is installed, and is it original or added?
-You have run Repair Permissions, but have you also run Repair Disk?
-Do you have a complete backup of your system, or at least any data that you couldn't bear to lose?

Can't Install iTunes 10 Please Help!!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I cannot install itunes 10 x64. Keep getting an error message saying bonjour services failed to start make sure you have sufficiant privelages. I have tried every fix i have seen including disabling my firewall and anti-virus, disabling bonjour service, uninstalling itunes and all traces of other programs, I have a Administrator account as well. I just purchased an iPad and have yet to be able to sync content from my itunes library becuase i cant install it. I am losing my mind over this and would very much appreciate any help. Very irritating having brand new iPad and not being able to sync. Thank you

hi, i am having a similar issue, i cant install itunes on my vista computer, it asks for admin perssions or sumthing, even though i am admin...anyway, they way i solved not being able to install through the itunes installer was, install itunes on another computer (has to be a windows based computer, doesnt matter what version or 64/32 bit) then copy the program files folder for itunes, ipod, and in common files under program files, the apple folder (it has the mobile device support, apple application support, etc) and put it all onto a usb, take it to the troublesome computer, close any itunes related services, and itunes of course (if the old version is still running) then copy it all back to program files. i know many people dont reccommend installing things this way, but this is an "uprade" not a fresh install, all the registry is written already.
i have tried this and it works exactly as it should, even though it was really cross platform, i have a triple boot xp(32bit)vista(32bit)and win7(64bit) i installed the new itunes on win7, then copied it over to xp and vista, despite the bit difference (b'cos itunes is only in 32-bit, the only 64-bit part of itunes is the installer) and it works fine still right now, ipod syncs, everything else works fine

Can't Use Internet Properly, Please Help

I just got Peer Guardian on the Macbook I am using which has been using its airport with a Belkin router for a week or two now. It has been flawless but for some reason after peer guardian was used Google doesn't work, flickr and a whole bunch of other sites. This is an issue in both firefox and safari. I tried to delete Peer Guardian but it keeps saying files are in use. Its already closed and there's nothing running when I pull up the tasks. How can I fix this issue?

Go to the printer manufacture website and download the drivers for your printer model for OS X v10.9 Mavericks.
Then open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Print
Select your printer on the left then click - (minus)
Then click + (plus) to add the printer.
