Can't Install CS5.5, Exit Code: 20
I've tried installing CS5.5 three times, everytime I get Exit Code:20 right after it begins installing. It has asked me to restart my computer. I have restarted my computer each time. I have no idea how to fix this.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install cs5.5 web premium (upgrade) on windows xp sp3 but have some trouble.
Every program of the suite install right but not acrobat. At the end of installation I receive the error below.
I try to solve reinstalling and follow this article without success:

I try also disinstalling AIR and reinstall but the result is the same.

Error: Can't install CS6 PS , Exit Code:6, Error: DW050
Hey i'm running an mac(intel) with OS x 10.7 Lion on it.
Everytime I tryed to install CS 6 Photoshop the installer froze.
I cleaned my mac with the cs cleaner tool and tryed to install Photoshop in security mode but following error occurred:

I got this error after installation (20th of April):

I followed the advice to run the set-up.ex "as admin" - but same problem.
If I load these packages from Microsoft - the installation is interrupted at once with a certificate-error.
This problem (I guess) causes the following error message to promt again and again while I wirte this: "CS6 Servide Manager.exe: The program could not start correctly (0xc000007b), Click Ok to close the program."

..and this new error is received, even before CS6 is started on the computer: "CS6 Service Manager.exe: The program cannot be started, as MSVCP100.dll is missing on the computer. Try to reinstall to solve the problem."
(have tried to reinstall - same problem).
These problems are severe, as they are interrupting all tests and (even the writing in this forum, i.e. the message returns each 10th-30th second demanding an OK to be cleared). -

Install failed with exit code 11?
Hi,
I am trying to deploy a language pack and set the override language to English-US which I have created 2 programs for in my package. When the first program runs I am getting an error in the execmgr.log that "Install failed with exit code 11" Any
ideas what this means? When I run this command manually on the machine it works fine:
"C:\WINDOWS\System32\Dism.exe" /online /add-package /packagepath:"en-us\lp.cab"
I checked the dism.log as well but I don't see any errors. Both logs are below, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated TIA

How can I install CS5 on a new/replacement laptop? I paid full price in 2011 and have the key (and it shows up in my Adobe account under products), but it was a downloaded product and I can't find a download of that version online and my key doesn't work in CC.

I can't install CS5.5 master collection on windows 7
Dear,
I can't install CS5.5 master collection trial on my windows 7 desktop,
it allways get stock when installing adobe help (7%) or adobe story (25%).
I unintall and reintall 5 times, I never get beyond 25%.
I also tried to use your offical clearn tool, don't work.
clearn all regs, don't work.
clearn all remmain files, don't work.

I update to Windows 7 SP1 and run the installation download from adobe download assistant, but still get stuck on installing adobe help and adobe dreamweaver widget browser.

So I try to install under windows safe mode (without internet connection and commend window), this work !
Although I got a DW050 error, but I think that is because I interrupt the install process earlier.
I'll try to install all software in the master collection suite tomorrow. (I just install acrobat, PS, AI, indesign, flash, DW and fireworks, in oder to make the process quickly)
And I have another question,
I saw some software have 32 and 64 bit in the installation file in the direct link I provided.
Do I have to install both version or just install my windows version (64 bit only) ?
For now, I only install 64bit, and it works find.

Please give more details. Are you upgrading from one version of Photoshop to another? What is the original Photoshop version? What version of Photoshop CS 5 are you trying to install? You will need in this case both the serial number of the version you just purchased as well as the older version's serial number. At which stage are you getting the serial number error?
Where did you purchase CS5 Photoshop? You can check to see your old serial number is correct by looking in your Adobe Account on the Adobe.com website if you registered your older version. -

ERROR: - Adobe AIR: Install failedI had the same problem referenced, and tried a fair number of things simultaneously, and was able to successfully re-install CS5 & then upgrade to 6.2 Adobe Camera Raw.
1. Remove Program (through add/remove programs).
2. Run the CS5 removal script (downloaded from Adobe - be careful to wait until all files are extracted).
3. Run MSCONFIG (type it into "Run" on start menu). Disable every single item in Services and Startup that authored by Adobe. Also disable your anti-virus software and any program that syncs your files).
4. Disable Windows Firewall.
5. Reboot
6. Run the installation program. Be sure to right click, and "run as administrator". Hope for success.
7. Run from Photoshop Updates (click help at the top, then updates). Hope for success.
8. Reverse steps 3 and 4.
9. Reboot. -

Error with re-installing Illustrator. Exit code: 7 ? Help!
Hello,
I had problems opening my Illustrator-program (from Adobe Creative Suite 5, Design Premium) as it kept on opening a new file window, and not the program itself. I could keep on opening this file-window eternally, not in any way could i get in to the program, so I chose to un-install the Illustrator - not the whole package.
Now when i try to re-install Illustrator in Adobe Application manager, it ends up with saying that a mistake happened and:

Can Not Install CS5 On Win7 With Mapped My Documents
All of our machines have their My Documents mapped to a network drive. In other words:
M: = \\SERVER\SHARE\USERNAME
Then their My Doucments is mapped to M:
CS5 install attempts to begin but then quits with many errors. The error message is worthless and tells you nothing. It wasn't until I looked at the install log at the entries right before the exit code 3's. It complained about M: not being a valid drive which is completly bogus. You can access M: via windows and command prompt.
So I'm not sure if this is a Win7 issue with CS5 or what.

Luckly I found that article. Changing M: to C: in the registery fixes the issue. Then of course I have to change it right back after the install. Having two additional REG files to run for every install, while a major PITA, isn't a show stopper.
This post is more of an FYI for those people that run into the same problem. I have verified this issue at two different companies.
On a side not, no, we do not want to map their My Documents to a specific UNC as they then create UNC specific mapping within thier doucments like Excel. This causes all sorts of nasty problems when an employee leaves. So it's important that Adobe fix this issue.The log file is huge. Here's the part where it mentioned the return value and I included everything above that to the first header I came across:
