Can't install CS5.5 from disk nor from net. Why?

I own CS 5.5 which I bought in 2012 in DVD installer format. I want to install it in my MacBook Pro but when I start the installer i get a message stating that the installing program cannot start and I should get the Adobe Support Advisor. This is no longer available. I have tried to install from the net and I get the same result. How do I start the installer? I do have the installing DVD and serial number.

I now see that I needed to download and install the Application Manager first. All is well now.

Purchasing iLife 11 on disk is an easy thing to do. ILife 11 will include iDVD.
If you have iDVD on another Macintosh you can transfer it to your new computer. That procedure has been discussed here many times, if you do a search you will find that procedure.

I can't print CS5 files from my Mac OSX (Mavericks). CS5 crashes when sent to print. Can print from other applications (Word, etc.).

I just tried installing them. I got the message that "Some updates failed to install" (including for CS5), to quit and try again. I was curious and tried again to print and lo and behold, I could print! I'm still nervous that not everything installed and wonder how to get a complete install.

I can't install CS5.5 master collection trial on my windows 7 desktop,
it allways get stock when installing adobe help (7%) or adobe story (25%).
I unintall and reintall 5 times, I never get beyond 25%.
I also tried to use your offical clearn tool, don't work.
clearn all regs, don't work.
clearn all remmain files, don't work.
system info:
windows 7 64bit ultimate
8G DDR3 Ram
ATI FirePro V4800
Can anyone help me with this issue ?
And I also found that adobe download assistant will get freeze on my windows 7 desktop.

I update to Windows 7 SP1 and run the installation download from adobe download assistant, but still get stuck on installing adobe help and adobe dreamweaver widget browser.
After that, I think maybe my file has some error during the download process, so I re-download from direct link in this article:

In first installation, with anti-virus and firewall closed, I still get stuck on adobe help : (
So I try to install under windows safe mode (without internet connection and commend window), this work !
Although I got a DW050 error, but I think that is because I interrupt the install process earlier.
I'll try to install all software in the master collection suite tomorrow. (I just install acrobat, PS, AI, indesign, flash, DW and fireworks, in oder to make the process quickly)
And I have another question,
I saw some software have 32 and 64 bit in the installation file in the direct link I provided.
Do I have to install both version or just install my windows version (64 bit only) ?
For now, I only install 64bit, and it works find.

I erased my HD. Now I can't instal mountain lion from my bootable flash drive, and keep getting "installation error. Try again."

I bought mountain lion, made a bootable flash drive.
I booted from it and it went to upgrading right away!
So I stopped it and went to my former recovery partition I erased my HD because I wanted a clean start.

and there is no 4 choices window.

How did you create the USB install thumb drive? If it was with Disk Utility I have run into this problem and have since used THIS program to make the USB install drive.
As to your problem you only have one option and that is to Reinstall the Original OS X version that came on your computer or if you still have the Lion Recovery Partition use that to reinstall Lion. Or if you system came with Lion and you have No Lion Recovery HD Partition you can boot the system from over the internet and Reinstall Lion.
At startup hold down the Command+Option+r keys until you saa a spinning Globe in the center of the screen. Once that loads Repartition the drive as One partition and then reinstall Lion.

I can't install Flash Builder from the Web Premium suite, what should I do?

I just downloaded the Adobe Creative suite 5.5 Web Premium and am about to install the program but notice a note next to the Adobe Flash Builder program... it explains that my system doesn't have the requirements needed for this program. I checked and it explains further details stating that I need to have a • Mac OS X v10.5.6–10.6 and I doubled check which version I have and it's OS X 10.5.8. Doesn't this actually mean that it does meet the requirements?
Please advise as to what can be done to be able to download this specific program.

We do still need more information such as how much memory you have,
resolution of your monitor, how much disk space you have free, which
processor are you using. I good guide is to look at the system
requirements and try to post for each of the items within the
requirements. The system requirements for Web Premium can be found

Please give more details. Are you upgrading from one version of Photoshop to another? What is the original Photoshop version? What version of Photoshop CS 5 are you trying to install? You will need in this case both the serial number of the version you just purchased as well as the older version's serial number. At which stage are you getting the serial number error?
Where did you purchase CS5 Photoshop? You can check to see your old serial number is correct by looking in your Adobe Account on the Adobe.com website if you registered your older version.

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.
