Can't install CS6 Design Standard - Serial number can't be proofed.
Hello,
Two days ago I bought CS6 Design Standard. Now I wanted install it but in the beginning of the install process I had to type in the serial number. I did it. But after pressing the enter button I always gets follow message, even the serial number is right:
"Couldn't proof the serial number for Creative Suit 6 Design Standard. Contact support." (Translated from German)
1. There is NO support on the weekend. Why not?
2. What do I have to do, so that the serial number wil be accepted. It can't be, that I bought a programm for severall hundred EUR and then I can't install it.

I have lost the CS6 Design Standard serial number card. But the box still with me.
Information available at the box is only the bar code number and Part Number. How can i retrieve back my serial number ?If you registered your software when you first installed it your serial number should be available thru your Adobe account online.

CS6 Design Standard Serial Number is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found...?
I am attempting to reinstall CS6 Design Standard after a computer upgrade, however the Application Manager won't take my serial number. In particular, when I enter the serial number, I receive the following error message:
Serial Number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer.
When I enter the serial number for one of the products that should be eligible for the upgrade, I receive the error message:
This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another.
I've attempted this on a couple of machines with the same result. I've also attempted to install CS6 Design Standard after installing numerous other products: CS5 Design Premium, CS5 Design Standard, CS3 Design Standard... and none of these were found as qualifying products.
I'm attempting this on OS X 10.9.3, on numerous MacBook Pro configurations from the past four years. It is plugged into the network, and the connection is active. I haven't seen anything in Console that is related.
Is there someone from Adobe that I can contact to get verification of this Serial Number, and what product it would be attached to?

shane.The Serial Number you have is a upgrade Serial Number from a older version.
So when you try to install, you have to insert the Serial Number for CS6 Design Standard and on the next screen, you need to choose the old product from drop down list and enter the Serial Number for that.
It is not necessary to install the old application before installing CS6 Design Standard , all you need is the Serial Number for the old version.

Yes, you can use it on 2 machines. You have to download the file on the new system or use the disc if you have.
Then use the same serial number. If you require the setup file please use the below link.

Unable install CS6 design standard on Mac OS 10.8.2
Hi
I having problem when installing CS6 design standard on Mac OS 10.8.2
i was using the online .dmg to install everytime when the installation seem like almost done (the progress bar shown 99%). suddenly it just fail.
I was using admin id and tried adobe clean tools to reinstall.

A quick look at the error log, indicates a permission issues. Are you logged in with an Administrator account and have sufficient privileges to install software? -

How do I install cs6 design standard on my macbook pro retina?
I JUST bought my student edition CS6 Design Standard last week. Got everything verified, registered with adobe. Oh ****, I have no cd drive. OK, what do I do? I have read the FAQ. I have tried to install a trial. No Design Standard option with the handy Download Assistant. I tried the Help Chat. There were 88 people in front of me. Well I'm frustrated and am wasting time at this point. I'd really appreciate if someone would please tell me how I can get this installed and use the software I paid for.

Using 'Design Standard' serial number with 'Master Collection' download.
Hey, i was trying to download design standard, but couldnt find it with the download assistant.
The only thing i could see that was a 'collection' was the master collection.
So i asked someone on Adobe live chat wether i could just download master collection then input my design standard serial, and they seemed to think it would work.
When i enter the serial i get the following message:
"We are unable to validate this serial number for CS6 Master Collection. Please contact customer support."
not really sure what to do, will i need to downlaod design standard instead?i think customer support missed that one.
adobe serial numbers are product specific. you can't activate a trial of one product to a full version of another product.

I bought the student version of CS6 Design standard 3 years ago and installed it on my MacBook Pro. I now just purchased an iMac and would like to download it onto this as well. I should be able to download it onto two computers from what I understand, but when I insert the disk for download, there is no install.app on the disk any longer. I only see set-up.exe (which is for windows). How can I get the programs downloaded onto my iMac?

Question: Instaling CS6 Design Standard
Problem with instalation of CS6 Design Standard, remain only for 5 minutes, I quit all the apps but the prompt "Pleas close these applications to continue". The help instruction insists that Safari is sill runing. I tried both, usual Force Quit and Utility > Activity Monitor > Quit Process. No efect what so ever.
When you check the Activity Monitor, look for the processes from All Users else restart the machine in Safe mode and then install the software.

Need help with installing CS6 Design Standard
Hi all,
Bought CS6 Design standard as a download from Currys the other day. I have a list of 4 files to download.
First one is a PDF to tell me how to activate my student software.
Second is a download .exe file for design standard
Third is another .exe for illistrator content installer
Fourth is another .exe for indesign and incopy content installer.
I've donwloaded all 4 files and once i've clicked on the two content installers i then click on the design standard .exe file and up comes this error message "the file archive part of adobe cs6 design standard is missing. you need all parts in the same folder in order to extract adobe cs6 design standard. please download all parts."
As google automatically places all the download items into the downloads folder, I'm assuming I've done the correct thing and placed them all in the same folder.
I have read that you need to extract a .72 folder or something. however i cannot see that on my downloads list.
Please could someone help, or is this a case of taking my laptop into currys and demanding someone to help me??you should contact your vendor to see where that 7z file is.
btw, it should not be manually extracted. the exe will extract the 7z file's contents.

CS4 Design Standard Serial Number not accepted

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and want to install my "old" CS4 Creative Suite Design Standard on it.
I found a page on the Adobe that enables to download CS4 software. They are all here except the Creative Suite Design Standard.
I picked the Illustrator one thinking that I would pick Photoshop and In Design afterwards.
It went well until I had to key in the Serial Number.
It was not accepted. Said:
Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite
Any idea?

SRGgraphicsYes, as it should be. Suites can only be upgraded to suites. It says so in the fine print of the buying guides. Contact sales support about returning the package and getting a ful lsuite instead.

Can't access CS6 Design Standard download
I can find the weblink without any problem but once Adobe Download Manager enters the picture it all goes to the dogs! Design Standard is not an available option.
I already have a license for it and following the theft of the only machine I have it installed on I need to download the installer to re-install on the replacement machine
I'm using Mac OS 10.8.2 and navigating to the download in Safari. I'm then prompted to download, install and open the Download "Assistant" which requires a login. I've logged in with the same Adobe ID that shows me the license
