Can't install D11 on ANY Vista computers

I have 3 different computers running Vista here, and the D11
trial will not run on any of them! (
Vista 32 Ultimate, Vista 64 Ultimate, and Vista 64 Premium
Home)
** The 32 bit version doesn't even have any other Adobe stuff on
it.
If I don't run it as Administrator I just get a message box
that says that Licensing has stopped.
If I run it as Administrator I get the splash screen that
asks for the serial or allows me to select to run as trial. When I
choose the trial selection it says it can not load the trial
information and takes me back to the screen asking for teh serial
number but the trial choice is greyed out.
This is ludicrous that Adobe would release a product that is
not even ready for production yet - I am not the only one seeing
this issue with Vista computers and Adobe seems to be sweeping the
problem under the rug.
Has anyone ever had it run properly under Vista?

This is not true.
I don't know why folks still repeat that, even if it's not
mentioned in the system requirements.
D11 runs on XP 64bit and Vista 64bit.
There's only a problem with the trial refusing to activate
the trial period,
which to my knowledge still hasn't been addressed.
Cheers,
Martin

All Apple iTunes Store accounts must have a valid form of payment set up. Even for free apps and updates. The Payment Declined message comes from your card issuer or payment source; Apple is just a pass-through for the message. You need to find out why your issuer is declining your card.

How do you do the installation?  For what web browser?
Try downloading the installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.

  • Can still install PS CC on 2 computers like CS6.

    Hello,
Can I install PS CC on 2 computers like CS6. Under the old CS6 agreement I could install PS CS6 on my main desktop computer and have another copy on my laptop computer for use when I travel. Is this still possible with PS CC??
    Thanks
    David

Is this still possible with PS CC??
    Yes, still possible.
Refer Getting Started section at http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html
"Can I use the software I download from Creative Cloud on multiple computers?
Yes, you can install and activate Creative Cloud desktop applications on two computers, regardless of operating system, for the individual associated with the Creative Cloud membership. See the product license agreements page for more information."
One extra advantage with Cloud software over perpetual licenses is that the Cloud license is not operating system dependent. So you can install it on Mac/Mac, Win/Win and/or Win/Mac.

  • Hi, I get the Acrobat 6.0 I can't install it to the vista window. Please tell me what to do

Hi, I get the Acrobat 6.o. I can't install it to the vista window? Please tell me what to do.

    Hi tan tran,
Acrobat 6.0 is not recommended by Adobe for windows Vista.
I would suggest it would be better to upgrade your application. Latest version will be better compatible with new operating systems, new features and better support.

  • Can't install iTunes 9 on Vista. iPod services have stopped?

I can't installed iTunes 9 on my Windows Vista PC. When I try to install, the installation process gets to about 95% complete, then an error pops up saying "Serice 'iPod Sevice' (iPod Service) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start the service". I also get a Windows System error that says "iPod service module (64-bit) stopped working and was closed". I can't install iTunes 9 and can't find any answers. And yes, I'm installing iTunes as the system Admin. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

My problem is with Vista, but slightly different to the above.
I bought a new Vista PC yesterday and was able to download iTunes 8 to it.
I'm also still using my old XP PC until I get the Vista one properly set up. Last night I ran all iTunes/iPhone/iPod Touch updates successfully on the XP machine.
Today I am updating the Vista PC. Safari and Quick Time have downloaded.
iTunes itself reaches 98.7 of 98.8 verified and then fails.
The error message I am getting is ""The windows installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running in safe mode, or if the windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance"
I have no idea what that means, does any Vista user know what the Windows Installer Service is and how I sort this out?
There is a pop appearing occasionally about setting up 'winlock' - I have no idea what that is (need to google to find out) so have ignored that until I understand what it is.
I've tried both running direct from the download and saving to my PC but still the same error message. Odd that the program installed yesterday but the updated version will not do so today.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

  • Can't install iTunes correctly on Vista

Hi, I have Vista Ultimate 64bit so I downloaded iTunes64Setup.exe
When I try to run that, I get "Windows Installer doesn't work anymore" and it crashes. Then I read I had to install Quicktime first, and then unpack the iTunes64Setup.exe, and run the iTunes.msi. No luck, same problem. Then I thought it was Windows Installer so I downloaded Windows Install Cleanup and there "cleaned up" my Windows Installer. After that, when I run the install again, it says it cannot open a certain key ("UNKNOWN/Components/23B.." and some more random numbers and letters). Then I tried running just the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi but that says it has encountered errors.
What the **** is going on with this ? I installed the SP1 service pack 1 day before this but I don't think that is the issue cause a friend of mine has the same computer and OS and he can install iTunes without a problem. And yes I tried downloading the iTunes setup again..

  • Can't install itunes in windows vista

i'm just upgrade my gf's PC from Windows XP to Vista. I find that I can't install itunes. As it said visualbsic script is missing or disabled. How can i solve it??

I think it would be a good idea to scan for malware as malware often interferes with Windows Update.
Download Malware bytes and run a full scan, there is a free version:
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/
In services, check the Window Update service. It should show as "started" and start up type automatic.
The other thing is to run the system file checker:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
This will attempt to fix problems and if it will not run, that is another clue to the problem.
