Can't install/download anything help!!!
So here's the problem: when i try downloading a program/software it will download the installer, then when i try installing said program/software it says, "the system could not find the environment option that was
entered."
any help would be appreciated!
(remember, its not letting me install any programs and there might be a file corrupted and/or deleted)

What special operation did you do before you encountered this issue?
Regarding the issue here, please try the following steps for troubleshooting.
1. Conduct a virus scan to check it there are any virus issues.
2. As you mentioned, this might be caused by some corrupted system files. Please refer to the following link ? to run the SFC /scannow
3. Please try the following command if SFC won’t work:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Steve Jobs obviously was "the man" because every update or install now gives me problems... i can no longer download anything to my iphone.. giving me errors of "cannot install at this time" and i get an error installing itunes on my other laptop... wth is going on!??!
ok so the download problem with my iphone.. what could be the cause of that? ive restarted and deleted the "undownloaded app" over 10 times already. and restarted the iphone 10 times... next thing i know i cant install itunes on my laptop.... geez man..
obviously there is a fix which someone will help... but why should i have to go through all that crap to install a so called uncomplicated software... when you think about it this really shouldnt even be an issue.
normally if the thing dosent work. normally with most programs you just uninstall the uncompleted software and just reinstall and everything is usually good to go.. help!ive never had any problems with ap[ple products in the past... this is a first and a stupid problem if you ask me

please please please help! It says in my iPhone Free Space area on iTunes that the apps on my phone are taking up 9.20 GB when I only have one page of apps (all fairly small ones, too!). I can no longer download anything to my phone because of this, and I need help to bring my "app space" down from the incorrect number.

Why can't I download anything online? This includes everything from itunes song files,to Apps from the apple app store, to flash plugins. I am also unable to install a game on disk. I get messages that 0 kb is available when I just got the computer a week and a half ago and only installed microsoft office and adobe photoshop. Help!
This is a confusing complaint...and kind of disturbing. Perhaps you could answer a few questions:
1. How much space is left on your HD? If there weren't any available space left, it would be very difficult to boot your applications.
2. Do you back up at all? Given your situation, it might be a good time to start, given the situation. Backup drives are relatively inexpensive these days.
If this problem persists, a visit to your local Apple Store might be a good idea - but until then, please let the community here help. -

I do have a network connection, and can get logged into the itunes store. I have spent the past 45 minutes on the phone with Apple who had me check all of my permissions, and I have uninstalled/reinstalled itunes, but still the same thing.
Anyone have any ideas on this?I have the same problem with my 1st gen Touch. It started a few days ago when I and many other 1st gen users noticed that we could no longer download podcasts directly to our iPods, and after a day or two that seemed to be fixed, but now the app store is broken for us. For me when I try to download an app I press the button and then the graphics for the button get all jumbled. I can see it's there but the edges and letters are all mixed up and wierd looking. It turns green like the download button, and when I push that it turns blue and then just sits there doing nothing. I know this isn't a problem with updating my software because anyone who knows anything about earlier models knows that they stopped updating the iOS for them a long long time ago. This is definitely a problem on Apples end where they've made some kind of changes to the app store that break it on earlier iPods (I saw another post from a 2nd gen user who is having the same problem). I hope Apple fixes this soon.

I purchased Elements 11 last night, to install on my mac. But the files I downloaded do not install. I think I may have WIN files instead of MAC files, but when I go back to the Adobe download link, there is no option to download anything except the files I've already tried (and yes, I've tried BOTH the Akemi download manager and the alternate download method/ Both simply give me the same, unusuable files).
What can you guys do to help me? Is tthere a correct file you can send me? Or do you refund my money so I can purchase it again, correctly? Help!On the Adobe website, in my "downloads" section, I see the following options: "Akamai Download Manager," and "Alternate Download Manager Parts 1 and 2"
If I click on "Akamai Download Manager," I get a b;ack "downloading bundle / initializing" screen that goes away in a few seconds, and switches to a black "Download Complete" screen, along with a popup that reads, "PhotoshopElements 11_WWEFDJ.exe" is a file from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" And if I do open it, I simply get a text file with unreadable symbols and code.
If I use "Alternate Download Manager Parts 1 and 2," I get an error propt that says, "there is no application set to open the document PhotoshopElements 11_WWEFDJ.7Z
So what do I do? -
Please can anyone help? I am opening a saved file which I can see in the template, but when I open it the page is blank. When I go to print I can see it there but I can't edit or anything!!!

I could see the contents of Pages & Numbers files is previews, but they were blank when opened. Apple tech support--in an hour long call--managed to find a fix for my issue. I hope it works for you.
Concurrently to the seemingly blank files, my computer happened to be slowing down & stalling a lot, but while related to the problem, I don't know that this is a necessary symptom of anyone else's.
We deleted all the cache files in the ~/Libary/Caches folder, & emptied the trash. It said some files were in use, so we restarted and finished the trash disposal. Then we started up Pages & Numbers, and it was all good! My computer went back to its normal snappy responses too.
I am sure someone could possibly narrow down which cache files might be causing an issue. But give this a try.
By the way, I am running Pages 9, on Mountain Lion 10.8.4 (recently updated) on a MacBook Pro. Disk Utility found preferences and disk verify normally. Activity Monitor showed no excessive CPU use and there was no shortage of hard drive space. The problem was reproducable in safe mode. Deleting plists for iWork had no positive result. As for the slowdown, sometimes the computer would get stuck in spinning beach ball mode for a while, or freeze. The only think that worked was the cache purge.

After upgrading to iOS5 I can not set the store to auto download anything. The buttons will not stay in the ON position. Any thoughts?
I experienced this one time and this is what I did and it worked for me. You can try it as well and see of it works for you.
Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap on your ID and sign out. Restart your iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign In. Then go to automatic downloads and try again. -
Why can't I download anything on my iPad?
My iPad won't let me download anything on my iPad, but everything is fine. I have a strong working connection and no problems. When I download something from my App Store, the app just sits on my screen and is always "waiting". It doesn't even show the design of the app. It just shows the design state where it is a circle with 3-4 lines running through it for every app I download. I can delete things though. I also try to check the diagnostics and usage for crashes/errors, but whenever I click settings>general>about , the screen freezes and I have to double-click to exit out, but I can never get to the diagnostics and usage.
1. Make sure iPad is using the latest software
2. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
3. Make sure Time Zone is correct
4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo. -
Can't install itunes 7, HELP!!
I go to the page to download itunes 7. I click to download it, and it takes me to the page that says thank you for downloading itunes 7. but it doesn't download, no instructions pop up, no nothing. I searched my computer, it's not on there. I deleted the old version, still doesn't download. HELP!!!!!!!
OK, if you have successfully saved the iTunes installer on your PC (you shouldn't run it over the internet) then you should take a look at this Apple help on trouble installing Itunes:

ever since I updated my iPod software my iPod will not connect to the app store and won't let me download anything. help
Hook it up to your computer and open itunes. try to download hte apps via your computer. Every time you update hte software you have to reagree to the itunes terms of service. Sometimes it's hard to get it to come up on the device, but is easier on a computer.
