Can't Install FixedAssets Add-On

Dear All,
We have a problem when installing FixedAsset add-on patch PL 08 Hotfix1 (and previous release too). SBO shows us this message:
Set-up function of add-on failed (C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\SAP\FixedAssets\BA_FixedAssets.exe)
We use local setting United Kingdom Local Setting ...
Are there any clues for this problem???

Can't install any add-on if FF4.0.1

I have 2 versions of FF, latest 14.x and also 4.0.1 which I want to keep. I start both with different profiles using
path_to_firefox.exe -P profile_name -no-remote
With 14.x I have no problems, but can't install any add-on in 4.0.1 - I tried installing from web or from a .xpi file - in both cases the download progress bar fills to 100% and then stays there forever, without proceeding further.
Is there a way to manually install an add-on? By this I don't mean from .xpi file, but really manually - if I extract .xpi contents, where should I place the files, and which other files I have to modify to have an add-on working?
OS is XP sp3 pro 32-bit US-English

I can't install any add-ons in muse

I can't install any add-ons in muse or download the .mulib file to install it manually. Please, help. Also, it's pointless to download the .zxp file since Adobe Extension Manager does not support Muse. Any advice?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

I have just recently changed my browser from IE to Firefox and I am loving your work. However, when I tried to install an add-on it said the connection was lost. I am really stuck and have found no solution. Thanks for your continuous support,

Please do the following. 
#Click the orange Firefox button and go to '''Add-ons''', then '''Plugins'''. 
#In the menu, find '''npFFApi''' (or it may be described as ''Zone Alarm ...something'') and then click "Disable". 
#Close the menu and restart Firefox. 
#Go to the Add-ons site @ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/?browse=featured and try and install something.
If you can accomplish that task successfully, go back to the Plugins menu and re-enable "npFFApi". If behaviour reverts to how it was before i.e. you lose the connection, then you'll know it was that plugin which is the culprit.

Can't install aperture add on to lightroom 5.6

I want to install aperture add on to aperture but I don't have creative cloud. I have tried using extension manager but it just keeps coming up with error even after i reintall the manager. Help?

Well, I'm pretty sure that at this point you may not be able to install the trial at all, since they're set up to think you're cheating on the 30 day limit if you try an uninstall/reinstall. The problem is the PS trial you had before. What you need to do is to download and run this:

to remove the last bits of the CS3 trial before installing PSE 6. It won't hurt to try it, but whether you'll be able to run the PSE trial will depend on how far the installer got the first time, I'm afraid.

Can't install any add-ons after upgrading to Firefox 4.. tried about:config, still nothing. How come?

No matter which add-on I try to install, it says, "Software Installation is currently disabled. Click enable and try again." .. I've tried clicking enable as well as going to about:config and toggling xpi.enabled.. still nothing. Please help.

Ok. Fixed it.
Had to create a new profile.
If anyone has (had) the same problem, and you have a lot of bookmarks you don't wanna lose, make sure you back them up on your old profile as a saved file--on your desktop, create a new profile, and then import them in your new profile.

Can't install outlook add-on on client

I am trying to install the outlook addon but it does seem to show up on the add-on manager as either pending or installed addon. I have it active in my system set to automatic.

How come that I can't install muse-add-on with extension manager?

I downloaded an add-on for adobe muse. I could not add it via library panel. In creative cloud I tried to mark 'sync files' on, but for some reason that I don't understand it jumps allways back to 'sync files off'. So I tried to add the add-on with extension manager. Here I get the message: see screenshot. I wonder also why adobe muse is not in the product list of extension manager?

1. Extension Manager doesn't support Muse.
2. If the add-on file you downloaded is a ZXP file, you have to use the latest version of Extension Manager CC.

Pages not loading properly and can't install add ons

After installing the Firefox 29 on Windows 7, the mozilla's site and add-ons page do not load properly. Some problem as shown in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/992362 and tried all the steps but still doesn't work.

I've got exactly the same problem on both v 29 and 30. The thing is, my desktop computer is fine, my BRAND NEW laptop, stripped of ALL it's HP crapware and just using MSE, can display ANY webpage ok EXCEPT anything to do with Mozilla Firefox add-ons, AND the browser can't install any add-ons. I've tried all the usual banal "fixes", including switching off hardware acceleration, but all I get is plain-text for the pages as per sample, and no install of add-ons themselves. Again, note that this is ONLY a problem on the laptop, not on my desktop. They are both plugged into the same router (both through LAN / ethernet), and so therefore they should both work properly. I don't want to hear any stupid suggestions about formatting and re-loading. Just damn-well fix it, please! I've already wasted more than an hour of my very valuable time on this ridiculous problem. And yes, I've even uninstalled Flash 14 just in case (even though Flash 14 is on my desktop and not causing any problems - yet).

Can't install add-ons or remove old ones

I've done a fair few re-installs on my OSX and I'm now running 10.9.5 with Firefox 33, however every time I reinstalled, I copied over my profiles folder to have the saved passwords, history and add-ons already setup.
Recently something strange has been going on, I can't install an add-on, it installs but even after a restart it says it will be isntalled after restart.
I can't delete one, same thing as above, so I had to delete majority of them manually.
Every time I load firefox, it checks for add on compatability, which it didn't do before.
Is this some sort of a permissions issue or? I'd do a fresh install however I need to retrieve my passwords and browsing history first, and only way I know how to do that is with a plugin.
Any help would be appreciated!

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled or not compatible extensions in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end of the Search bar to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this hasn't helped then also delete possible addons.json and addons.sqlite files.
You can reset all prefs to have a fresh start and delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

How can I install PPD?

I'm using AI CS3 (PC version). I want to save the ps file for distiller and change it be pdf format file. After I installed full set CS3, I have distiller9 and acrobat pro 9 (because I installed some from CS4 too). When I click print, I can choose "Adobe PostScript File" in "Priner" box. But there is no selection of "AdobePDF 9.0" in "PPD" box. The selection in PPD box are "Other (unknown)" & "Device Independent" only. So, how can I install or add items inside this box? Thanks for help!

Warcraft III, The Frozen Throne - can't install it on 10.5?

I am having problems with *Warcraft III, The Frozen Throne* and I do not really understand what you did to get it to work.
Reign Of Chaos works fine, also on Battle Net, but I can't install the add-on The Frozen Throne: the installer loading time is awfull long, and when it finally loads (after 2 or 3 minutes), when I click on the install-button, it tells me to insert the Warcraft III CD. I know that the CD I have is fine (installed it on other machine).
*How do I get it to work with Leopard 10.5*?

I had the same problem, I fixed this by creating a mountable .cdr file using "burn" mounted it and installed if from the image file, after that whenever you want to play just mount the .cdr file and play non need to insert the cd anymore.

Yep, Firefox see's that website as being a forgery. Chrome and Firefox use the same database for phishing and web forgeries - they jointly developed that system.

In Firefox 5.0.1 on Mac OS 10.6.7, I cannot install any add-ons.
My old add-ons that worked in Forefox 4 stopped working and
seem to have disappeared. When tryinf to install an add-on, I get the following message: "There was an error downloading X, try again" (X is the name of the add-on). When adding an add-on from the Mozilla site, I get the message: "Firefox cannot modify the needed file".

My current version of Chrome is having problems, too! It's so annoying. Anyone have any suggestions now? I basically can't view or download any PDFs because of this.
Does anyone else think this is a problem not only with Adobe? I would think Apple would have something to do with this? Wouldn't they get some idea from the developer versions that no browser can open PDFs while running Lion!? Pretty bad customer service on the part of a company that prides itself on being VERY customer-friendly. Wouldn't you say?
