After install lion ox on macbook 2008 in september flashplayer is lost and can´t install a new version. What can I do??

In trying to upload a picture, I followed instructions to download flash player, then clicked run, then a warning appeared for me to cancel, program would harm my computer. I've also checked for plugins but while it states its searching for them it never stops, I meant to say, it searches forever! There are two different versions of Flash for Windows, the '''''ActiveX''''' version for IE and the '''Plugin''' version used by Firefox and most other browsers.
1.Download the Flash Plugin version setup file from here: <br />

Save it to your Desktop.<br />
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit <br />

3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.

Can't install flashplayer on Mac OSX v.10.6.8 I get "missing plug-in" message whenever I try to run a clip. Nothing will run--utube, news clips, nothing. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled flashplayer. what do I need to do???

If it won't download directly, right click and "Save as"
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the Flash Player.plugin file from there
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Flash Player folder (the whole folder)
Empty the trash
Reboot
Mount the DMG and run the installer.
BEFORE opening any Flash content in Safari, open Safari>Preferences, and check the Security tab to make sure "Allow all other plugins" is checked. -

Disk Utility (Applications - Utilities - Disk Utility) Repair Disk Permissions 2x. Then restart in Safe Mode and try both apps. Restart normally and post results.

I keep getting Configuration Error: 6 when I try to open my Adobe CS5.1 on my Macbook Pro with 10.6.8 operating system. I have tried to restart in safe mode and un/re-installing. What is there I can do to prevent this?

Never mind. I kept trying, and finally when I opened "About This Mac" and clicked the software update from there (as opposed to the "Software Update" just below), the Java update finally worked.

I just purchased and downloaded Logic 9. I had Logic 8 previously installed. What the **** happened to my Logic 8. It's gone along with the sounds and my my G4 mastering Folder. And... where are all these sounds stored on my computer I can't find them?...

Use the instructions here to completely remove/uinstall all iTunes/Apple software and componenets and then start from scratch.

I do not use iCloud and I do not have the 'Find my iPad' app installed. What can I do to find it? Is there another way to bring up a map of where it is?
I dont know the opperating system but I only got it recently...
I also have a mac book pro also without iCloud.Without Find My iPad having been enabled on it then there isn't any way to locate it - and that would only work if it's connected to a network and hasn't been wiped or had Find My iPad disabled on it.
If you think that it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also contact your carrier and change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.
