  • Is the way the free trial of creative cloud runs, how it the actual service runs?

    I downloaded the free trial of creative cloud to see if I wanted to purchase.  However, when I am using the apps, my computer is slowed down and sometime does not even work.   I have a 2012 macbook pro.  Will the actual service work better or still cause these problems?

    The programs are the real deal and will work the same in the paid versions. Your slowness may be caused by using some specific features. E.g. using TypeKit and the Sync feature have been known to cause slowdowns due to continual file transfers happening in the background. These are specific to certain combinations of Mac OSX with CC on certain types of network connections, however, and not a general issue. You can always try and turn off those features globally in the CC app. Likewise graphics acceleration features in some apps are dependent on the latest drivers and updates and you may need to tweak just that. For anything more you would have to provide more info and describe the specific issues. Just saying that your computer is slow is by all means vague, generic and mostly useless.

  • I downloaded the free trial of Creative Cloud.  But now I don't want it and can't access my InDesign

    That trial is now over and I can not return to my old files in InDesign.  It keeps taking me to a page asking me to purchase the Creative Cloud for $29.99 a month.  I don't want it.  I just want my InDesign to work again.  Anyone?  Please help.  I need those files. Thanks.

  • Problems downloading free trial of creative cloud

    i cannot download the free trial version of creative cliud on my imac. each time i try i get an error message to check my internet connectivity and firewall settings.  i do not believe i have any firewall as this is a new imac bought only 3 days ago and my internet connectivity is fine as i can download other programmes and have no problem browsing web pages.
    please can someone help as i am worried that if i purchase a subscription the same thing will happen.

    Welcome to the forums!
    Have you tried downloading any other file from internet to check if this problem is just with Adobe Creative cloud or other files as well. Also, to start please try the below step:
    This error might come if the files are not able to access certain files, please try and download in the Root user on your iMac.

    Please go to applications on your mac and launch Photoshop. Select Begin trial and you will be able to use the software for 30 days for free. To use it further after 30 days you will have to purchase it.

  • The effects panel in Elements 9 is now blank since installing a trial of Creative Cloud.  Help?!

    I have been using Elements 9 for years and decided to install a trial of PS and Bridge via Creative Cloud.  Since installing it, the effects panel in Elements is blank.  I have tried closing and reopening it and have also tried restarting my computer with no luck.  I am running OS 10.8 on a MacBook Pro.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Thanks so much!

    The simplest thing is to uninstall PSE via the uninstaller in Applications>Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, and then reinstall it.

    What is wrong with your customer service? It seems to be completely absent. A week ago I sent a message explaining the impossibility of using creative cloud to set up a trial of photoshop. I received your automatic response that my complaint had been received and that I would be contacted ASAP. It is now a week later. How long do I have to wait? Do not repeat the website's advice about how to fix the problem that Creative Cloud signs you out as soon as you sign in. The advice does not work. Would it be more honest to say that you don't want anyone to have a free trial of your products before they purchase them?

  • Can't install plugins in Mac Creative Cloud applications

    I've followed many of the step recommend here with no success, including reinstalling EM CC, rebooting, removing all plugins from EM Store...nothing.  When I try to launch Ext Mngr, it launches but then hangs. I'm running Creative Cloud on a MacBook running OSX 10.9.2.
    Here's my log file:

    Hi Christian,
    It is a known issue if Extension Manager crashed/force quit during installing, it will hang at the next launch. But after you reboot your MAC, hopefully everything will back to normal.
    Would you please try following steps:
    1.  Delete any files in "/Users/<YourUserName>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log", and create a new file "ExManCoreLibLog.YES" in that folder.
    2. Reboot your mac
    3. Launch Extension Manager, if Extension Manager still gets hang or crashes, please send ExManCoreLibrary.log in "/Users/<YourUserName>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log" to [email protected]
