Can't install HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP at notebook HP Pavilion

I bought new notebook HP Pavilion 13-a051sr with Windows 8.1 (x64) onboard.
I'm trying to install HP Scan.
While installing all-in-one HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP using "CM1312series-win7-full-solution-AM-EMEA1-v5.1.exe" can not get after the dialog window "Locating the printer". Printer could not be found even if I write down printer' IP-address. The latest printer firmware is already installed. Firewall is disabled, antivirus is closed.
I installed printer without any problems using it IP-address. What can I do in order to install scanner module?

I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion, and found that I could no longer print to my HP CM1312nfi.
This is usually a problem with HP at every upgrade, but this time, they appear to have offloaded the driver download process to Apple.
My printer is connected wirelessly through a time capsule by IP address—the physical, not the virtual, e.g: 169.254.xx.xx instead of 10.0.1.x.
When I try to download the driver by bonjour or IP, I get the following error message:
Can't install the software for the Hewlett-Packard HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP because it is not currently available from the Software Update server.
Is this truly a Software Update server error, and if so, any clue when it will be resolved?
I am able to print with the generic driver as of now, but fax and scan capabilites are gone. The add fax dialog lists no devices.
Scanning is not supported on my printer model with the Hewlett Packard Print 2.12 driver. Will support be forthcoming, or did Mountain Lion brick my scanner?

HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfi MFP and OSX Yosemite

Hello all. I have a HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfi MFP, and i can't install it on OSX 10.10 Yosemite. When i plug in the USB cable, nothing happens. My Mac does not find the printer, and i can't install driver from HP's website. All USB ports in my Mac works, and i can plug the cable in a Windows computer, where there is no problem at all. I tried to update the firmware through a Windows computer, but it did not helped. Any suggestions?

I also tried HP Easy Scan and it doesn't even see my scanner. Printing works fine, but I scan a lot of paper. Also, I've found that the Mac OSX version of the HP software (when it still worked) creates obscenely large PDF files. I can get around this by opening Adobe Acrobat Pro and re-saving the file as a reduced file size with the same name. I can take a 25 MB file HP creates and get it down to about 300KB or so. I found a way around all this but you won't like it. I've loaded Parallels (installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit) and installed the windows client in my parallels image. The windows client works fine. Not a solution I prefer, but this is an HP issue not an apple issue .... HP hasn't put out a driver for this printer in the better part of 3.5 years. Lastly, I'm not hooking up a USB cable to my printer/fax/scanner .... what's the point of having a dhcp network capable printer if I have to hard wire to a PC? I've used HP printers since the mid-'90s, but I guess it's time to find a company that supports OSX.

AirPort Utility can be used to configure and change the settings on any of the AirPorts.
If you have a Mac, AirPort Utility is here:
Macintosh HD > Applications > Utiltiies > AirPort Utility
If you have a PC, AirPort Utility for Windows is on the disk that came with the AirPort Express

Hp color laserjet cm1312nfi mfp misprint

Good day.
I have a HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfi MFP, when printing, it prints 2 to 3 pages and then displays cleaning on the lcd display and after it runs through with the cleaning it comes up with the error "Misprint, Press okay to continue" and if you do so it carries on printing the rest of the pages and the quality is 100%. Just annoying that you have to keep getting up and pressing continue on the printer all the time. It does not jam or anything.
Any suggestions to why the printer is doing this?

HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfi MFP cannot scan

I use a MacBook and my printer is an HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfi MFP. When doing the HP setup assitant I connect the printer to the MacBook with a USB cable but the assistant does not recognize the printer and I cannot carry on with the setup process. What do I need to do? My OSX version is 10.10.2

Scanning is no longer supported on Yosemite, only printing and faxing are available for the operating system as you may find listed by this chart for the HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series:

The HP setup assitant is not a part of the software provided for 10.10, it is intended for older verisons of the OS and therefore it does not work
You may try the 3rd party Vuescan scanning software which seems to support your scanner with no need for any other driver:

I'm trying to install my HP Color LaserJet 2600n (USB) to my new macbook pro with Yosemite ? It detects the printer but when I try to install it, I get the message error : "Can't download the software because of a network problem."
I tried to install the software via the HP website. It's not working.

I recently updated my operating system to OSX 10.9.2 and now I can't scan. Scanning function in HP director is greyed out and my Apple scanning utilities do not detect a scanner installed. Tried switching from network to PC connection to no avail. When will HP have a new driver that updates full printer function compatibility with OSX 10.9.2?

HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP Mystery Wake on LAN

The printer wakes unexpectedly, and unpredictably on the network. I cannot determine what, if anything, is waking it. The printer wakes and goes into calibration without any users on the network and without any print jobs. Mystery wake on LAN.

Scanning Software for HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP

Has anybody noticed the difference between download drivers with scanning software and the orginal CD PC Setup scanning software. It seems to me that the downloads of drivers and softwares are only the light version of scanning software whereas; 1. there is no toolbar wh about help to see which version of scanning software is installed. 2. The orginal setup has a full version of scanning software.My xp box died xmas and since 2010 I setup the prnt drvs/scan software and I never though this would be a problem if I had to setup again using the downloads from HP. The original CD is not intended for Windows 7, however you may download the software for Windows 7 below:

Be sure to unplug the USB if it is directly connected and uninstall any installed HP Software of the printer from Programs and Features prior installing the software above.

Lost scanning functionality on HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP

I am running OSX 10.9.2 on my late 2009 iMac and all of a sudden my printer software does not work and the Apple software does not provide scanning support for my printer. Is this going to be fixed any time soon???

Try using Image Capture, it is in your Application Folder.
Also see > Problems scanning with HP printer and Mavericks and "More Like This" just to your right.

Hi and sorry for my english In settings of HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw I tryed 15 and 5 minutes before sleep mode. After 15 or 5 minutes printer going to sleep, but if I'm used printer even only one time, after that he don't sleep ( printer's screen not dim), not after 5 and 15 minutes. Printer is connected through wi-fi, Windows 8.1 x64. Any ideas?)

I see by your post that the printer isn't going into sleep mode.
I can help you with this issue.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector)
I would update the printer's firmware if the printer won't go into sleep mode.
HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw Drivers.
Select your operating system, click next, click the link for firmware.
I have provided some information from the manual for the sleep mode that you can check out.
COLOR LASERJET PRO MFP.
EcoSMART Console: Change the default times for entering Sleep mode or Auto Power
Down mode. Configure which events cause the product to wake.
Printer Settings Auto-off Configure the product to automatically turn off after a period of
inactivity. You can adjust the number of minutes after which the product turns off.
Touchscreen control panel:
1. From the Home screen on the product control panel, touch the Setup button.
2. Open the following menus:
System Setup
Energy Settings
Sleep/Auto Off After
3. Select the time for the Sleep/Auto Off delay.
NOTE: The default value is 15 Minutes.
4. The product automatically wakes when it receives jobs or when you touch the screen on the product
control panel.
You can change which events cause the product to wake. Open the following menus:
System Setup
Energy Settings
Wake/Auto On Events
To turn off a wake event, select the event, and then select the No option.

Can't install Color Laserjet Pro MFP M177fw

I'm having trouble installing the drivers for my new Color Laserjet Pro MFP M177fw AIO printer. I'm using a Sony Vaio VPCX118LG running Windows 7. I initially successfully installed the software from the disk provided some weeks ago, and had the printer running satisfactorily. About 3 weeks ago, I attempted unsuccessfully to install Office 2013 on the 32 system, and finally gave up trying and went back to Office 2010. Since about that time, I've been unable to use either of my M177s (I have two printers in my two offices in different cities; the one in Sydnay is working fine with my HP Pavilion desktop up there, but now won't work with my laptop, as won't the other identical printer in Canberra). I've tried uninstalling the software (using the Uninstall utility on the disk provided with the printer) and reinstalling. The install process seems to be proceeding normally but at about 99% complete stops with a message about a "Fatal Error". When monitoring the process using the Windows dialogue, the failure appears to coincide withthe installation of the last driver (after the Scan, Fax, USB Printer, etc...the one called, "HP Color Laserjet Pro MFP m177fw"). I've tried downloading the installation files and drivers from the HP website and installing from the disk provided, but neither method works. Can someone there offer any help, please? Claude

Hi , I think it's time to take the proverbial gloves off. I suggest you try a selective start up on your PC working directly with MSCONFIG to try and determine what, if any Windows service or program is interfering with your ability to install the drivers. Here's how: Click on the Start menuIn the 'search programs and files' box right above Start, type msconfig and hit enter on your keyboardWhen the System Configuration Window opens click 'Selective Startup' and uncheck Load Startup ItemsClick the Services tab. Check the box at the bottom for Hide All Microsoft ServicesSelect Disable AllSelect Apply and OKRestart your computer when promptedAfter you reboot, try the install again. If you're able to finish the setup we can safely assume there is a background program or service on your computer blocking the install. You will need to enable one service at a time on your computer to locate the program that's blocking your printer from printing. Here's how to undo the above-noted MSCONFIG steps: Click the Start icon.In the 'search programs and files' box right above Start, type msconfig and hit enter on your keyboardWhen the System Configuration Window opens click 'Normal Startup'Click Apply and OKRestart your computer as prompted. Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176n installed but not printing

Hello Everyone,
I have problem with my printer Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176n.
at thebegining i try to install it buteverytime i run the installer it give me HP Installer error, so i installed the Microsoft Net Framework 3.5 and run the install and it was working perfict, i install the driver on USB cable and after it show me successfull and print test page and finish, so i click print test page and in printer and fax the printer M176n Show 1 printing job and then 0 but no print came out i try again same, i remove the cable and plug it again the printer is responding perfictly but still not printing i check the scanner and its working fine but only the printing is not, so i try to install it through network and it was sccessfully installed with IP but when i print, still the same 1 printing Job but nothing came out of the printer when it came 0 printing job.
Please help......

I did try to use Scan Doctor, the printer didnt print at the first check but when it ask forenternal print test page it printed then it ask me toif it print of not and i click yes it print in enternal print so it ask me to remove and reinstall so i did 2 to 3 times and still same will not print but when run Scan doctor it will print on enternal print .....

I understand you have done quite a lot to resolve your M176n and its connection to the ePrint service. 
I would like to help you with this issue. 
If the printer is not printing the web services info sheet, or allowing you to add it to HP Connected, I
would set a manual DNS. 
I wont go into great detail about setting this up. From your post, I feel you know your way around the printer and your network. If I am mistaken, let me know. I will go into detail. 
The DNS to try is:
Primary: 209.244.0.3
Secondary: 209.244.0.4
Set the DNS then try printing the web services info page again.
