Can't install ; i need administrator rights that i have
Hello,
I tried many time to install Air but I always failed...
They keep telling me that I need administrator rights, but I have and i launch the installation with them.
I tried many ways (like using this as told : http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall/en-us but it didn't work as well, the program is uninstalled - I need to install it again -, and it doesn't appear on the installation programs...) and searched everywhere but without success ; that's why I finally decided to ask here.

I have an issue with ITunes application with user profile and administartor profile. ITunes needs administrator right to install updates.
Under normal user profile , ITunes not able to install any updates.
It required manual works from administartor to run the application as "Administrator". Application level permission ( itunes.exe ) has full rights to the user,
but still ITunes needs administrator rights.
Please advise on how to install iTunes updates without Administrator rights.It can't find the uninstaller. Use Revo uninstaller for the PCSuite and all Nokia related driver software and clean the registry with Ccleaner.

Can't instal firefox 4, Gives error that my comupter needs to reboot to uninstall an older vesion. But I have uninstalled the other version and have rebooted 4 times now.
I have a similar problem installed firefox 4.0 update (x86 en-us) am told to reboot all the time. I cannot uninstall and it has also messed up my email attachments which I cannot now open except if they are microsot office.

I'm trying to download the new version of itunes. durig the install i get a message that I need to verify that I have sufficient privilege. Then I get a message of a Windows error 126 and a missing file MSVCR 80.dll. I've tried everything on the support site and nothing works.
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Can I install elements on a computer that already has photoshop CS 6 without damaging CS 6.
I have photoshop CS 6 for students and teachers on my computer already. I was feeling optimistic about the time and attention I would have for learning all the complications of a full version. I have used only elements in the past and have not been an advanced user at that. I need to edit some photos for school quickly. Can I install the version of elements that I already have without damaging the CS 6 version? My installation disk for CS 6 has a small crack in the center and I'm not sure if it will work again.
Yes, all versions of Adobe software install into their own separate folders on your hard drive and will happily co-exist.
So you can install Elements without interfering with CS6.

Doesn't matter. You don't really need it again other than as a drink coaster. It probably contains outdated software anyway.
You can always download the CS6 installer from the Adobe website when you need to re-install CS6.

I had a computer crash and completed a Fresh install of Win7 and restore of all files from Carbonite. I have managed to get LR 5 running in LR. However, I am not sure I have all of my previous catalogs. How can I find my catalogs to assure that I have a complete inventory of all my catalogs.

Since I upgraded to Elements 13, I have lost all my filters from 3rd party. How can I install them in version 13 that still are installed in version 11 and 12?

Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.

I can't access my Numbers documents now that I have OS Mavericks 10.9.3. It says I need to buy an upgrade for 19.99 to access them. Anyone else have this problem?
If you upgraded from previous OS, Look in Applications folder for an iWork folder and launch old Numbers from there.
If you clean installed, look for your old install disks for iWork and reinstall.
They will run on Mavericks but they need to be there. -

Prolems started after uploading the Lion in March. Now at least Windows 7 users can´t open any pdfs or jpegs that I have included into sent e-mails. They can see that they are included but can´t open them. What can I do?It's a bug in Outlook. Each version of Outlook has its own unique bug that prevents it form displaying email that didn't come from another Outlook user. Apple has attempted to dumb-down Mail and make it more complex in order to work around these issues, but Microsoft keeps changing the bugs in each version of Outlook instead of making an Internet Email standard compliant email client.
Are they able to right-click on the image and save it from the contextual menu?
Otherwise, make sure Send windows friendly, attachments at end of message are checked and send plain text.
Or, zip the attachments and send that way.
