Can't install Illustrator CC :(

I've installed Illustrator CC once. But when I opened I understood that it was wrong language (russian). I need english. So I went to Settings and set English language there. Then removed Illustrator with russian language. But I can't install Illustrator anyomore. CreativeCloud App says it's already installed Please help.

Generally this should work, but of course there may be occasional compatibility issues across the different programs and their different versions.

Can't install Illustrator from Creative Suite (serial number not recognized)

Years ago, I bought the first Creative Suite (upgrade). Illustrator was working fine on my old computer. Since then, I've upgraded Photoshop and Dreamweaver individually (I didn't upgrade Creative Suite).
Now I need to install Illustrator on my new computer, but the installation fails:
(1) I tried to install Illustrator separately (from the Illustrator setup.exe file on the disks) and I input the only serial number I have (which is for Creative Suite) and get a "this isn't an Illustrator serial number".
(2) I tried to install Creative Suite but it prompts me for the location of Photoshop ... an OLDER version of Photoshop. I've got Photoshop CS5, but the installation correctly says that isn't an earlier version.
I believe I purchased my first Photoshop in 1997-ish. Do I really have to start from the beginning and install EVERY VERSION of Photoshop that I ever bought/upgraded in order to install Illustrator from the CS upgrade disk?
I tried looking for an Adobe phone number, but no joy.

I have Photoshop LE, Photoshop 4.1 (I think it was -- the first version with layers), Photoshop 5.5, Photoshop 6, Creative Suite, Photoshop CS2, and Photoshop CS5.
After I purchased Creative Suite, I just wanted to upgrade the individual programs rather than the whole Creative Suite. However, I believe I purchased upgrades all along the way.
For Dreamweaver (though not the issue here), I started with the Macromedia programs, so the upgrade line started 'way back at Macromedia (and the installation of Adobe DW upgrades requires live tech support; unfortunately, as I can no longer find a phone number for Adobe, I guess I'd better hope nothing ever happens).
Anyway, does that help? You can see why I don't want to reinstall all those versions just to install Illustrator.

I have a related problem. What if you can't get Illustrator 10 to install on the PowerPC Mac? The Vise installer will install Illustrator partially and then freezes up the computer. I have to restart at that point. I'm not where the problem lies, the Vise installer usually craps out on any install I try to do. Any help is appreciated ... thanks.

You might be able to run old software on what is known as a virtual machine (a special mode, such as XP Mode, running within a newer OS, such as Windows 7).
But without the installation disc I am afraid it is doomed.
It is my impression that some older version will suit your needs.
The only versions available from Adobe are CS6 (which you may try (for a month) and buy as educational version) and CC (which you may try (for a month) and rent as eduational version, in other words a monthly expense in all eternity).
I believe you may buy an older commercial version second hand at a very reasonable price, with a licence transfer registered at Adobe (provided the version has never been used as the basis for an upgrade); educational versions cannot be transferred.

These steps should fix the problem so that you can install Illustrator:
Check if the link Uninstall Adobe Illustrator CS6 is available under Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers. If so run the uninstall. You should now be able to install Illustrator.
If there is no uninstall link the run the Adobe Cleaner Tool which you can download from here http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html. Remove any traces of Illustrator from your system.
If you had the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) open while running the Adobe Cleaner Tool then relaunch it and install Illustrator using AAM.

Mac OS: /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/
The log filename includes the product name and install date, followed with ".log.gz." The extension .gz indicates a compressed format.
Please post the log file on pastebin.com.

How can I install Illustrator on a new computer?

I have a creative cloud membership for Illustrator. I have it installed on 2 computers but got a new laptop. I read that it needs to be uninstalled on one of the computers in order to put on a new one. I uninstalled it but get a "sign in failed" message when I try to download on my new computer. It gives me the option to sign out of all other devices, but I want to stay signed in on one of the original installed devices. What do I need to do?

Can't install Illustrator 10

I know this is an old version, but it's all I've got for my G5 PPC.
I had this for a long time, then my drive crashed and I've got to install all my
software on the new machine.
I run the installer disc and enter the old version serial (this is an upgrade) and select
easy install. It starts installing al the elements... the the installer quits and I get a
message "Installer Vise has quit" or something like that.
I've tried this with Both my installation discs and the same thing happens.
Any thoughts. Tech support won't talk about version 10.

You know Scott is giving you very senssible advice and direction, it is old and trying to install it on OS X is really not the way to go.
Do your self a favor and make the move, unfortunately you have waited a bit long so there is no upgrade. But since you have not upgraded in a long time thenyu have in the long run saved money by not buying four upgrades.
But to be honest CS5 I believe does not install on the G5 PPC so that makes it a bit more important for you to move on.
The towers are expensive but the imacs are relatively inexpensive and quite fast and take 16 GB of current RAM and can be loaded with a SSD for a boot disk.
This makes the computer boot in like 4 or 5 seconds apps launch almost instantly.
And if you use Photoshop as well, which is 64 bit in CS 5, it will be a wold of difference.
I am thinking of getting an iMac myself even though I do professional photography as an iMac is Faster than my original model MacPro.
