Can't install Illustrator CS5

Illustrator CS5 fails on installation (Design Premium). All other apps install and work just great.
Here's the error:

also, as Ashutosh pointed out, Seems PS errored out too. If you still get error after seeing the above post, please come back with the updated error message on installer screen.

Generally this should work, but of course there may be occasional compatibility issues across the different programs and their different versions.

It does not seem likely that CS6 was upgraded from version 10. You might want to check your purchase history in your Adobe account to see if there is some missing link in the chain of purchases you made.
You can always try contacting Adobe support thru chat to see if they can find information or otherwise assist you in this matter.

Can't install Ai CS5 on my new Macbook Pro

I recently purchased a new MBP and I'm trying to install Illustrator CS5 from the disk. After going through the initial steps and entering my serial number it begins the install but then immediately says "Please insert disk Adobe Illustrator CS5 to continue" when the disk is already installed. I've been told that I could download a trial version of CS5 and enter my S/N that way but I can't find one! PLEASE HELP!

Yes it seems CS5 works on the Macs running Maverick but you have to up date java on the Mac or CS 5 once install will not launch.
So once you have it installed then you go here to upgrade java.

Problem installing illustrator cs5 trial

I have downloaded the trial cs5 but when i try to install it i get the following error message. I use vista.
"a problem occurred while ex

Problem solved - SIMPLE and QUICK solution
I too had similar problems installing Illustrator CS5. It just wouldn't complete the installation. Everything else in the CS5 collection installed fine. I looked around on the internet. Assuming that most people's installation problems originate from the same cause—registry errors, then scanning the registry for errors and correcting them first before rerunning the install should solve the problem. Which is exactly what I did and it worked like a charm.
Once you figure out what the problem is, how to fix it and get the right tools, the rest is easy. This is what I did. It took only a matter of minutes:
I use CCleaner (stands for Crap Cleaner, it's top-notch freeware I've been using for years, I can't recommend it highly enough!) to run a registry scan first. Sure enough, it identified at least one error with Illustrator. I scanned and fixed the errors in a couple of mouse clicks, took seconds.
I then run the CS5 installer again for Illustrator. Miraculously, it installed without a hitch!

Need some help! I installed illustrator CS5.5 few months back and it worked fine. One day system prompted me some error when I open illustrator again, didn't manage to print screen but i remember is something about C++. So I uninstalled the illustrator and try to reinstall with same DVD, same serial number, but upon the end of the installation it prompted:

Then removed Illustrator with russian language. But I can't install Illustrator anyomore. CreativeCloud App says it's already installed Please help.
