I have eventually managed to resolve my issue by:
1) Installing "Segoe UI" fonts in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder.
2) Changing my default colour profile to "sRGB Color Space Profile".
Navigate to My Computer > Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced > Color Management.
Click Add button and select sRGB Color Space Profile.icm from the Add Profile Association pop-up window.
Select sRGB Color Space Profile.
Click on the Set as Default button.
Click on Apply, OK, OK.

Hi, I bought a new toshiba a few days ago, and i need to install itunes. I tried many times, and I can't install it.
My pc runs windows 8.1 64 bit. It says that exists a problem with this windows installer package. And that is necessary a DLL to conclude this installation that cannot be executed.
Can anyone help me?

I cannot install itunes on my acer espire windows 8 laptop

I have just bought a new Acer espier laptop with windows 8 installed on it. and I have tried multiple times to install iTunes already and it has failed to install. I go to the iTunes website to look for the download link. which takes me to a button that I click which should download the software. but to no avail. the links do not work and I am curious why. any help that can get me to a reliable link to download this program without any hassle. Can't install itunes on my new laptop w/ Windows 8 64bit

So, I am trying to install the newest version of itunes on my Dell with Intel i3 Windows 8- 64 bit system. I had itunes on my old laptop (running Windows Vista) and it worked just fine, but when I tried to install it on my new dell, I get as far as downloading (itunes64setup.exe) and after it is done downloading and I try to install it, it gives me a pop up that says something along the lines of "this app can not be installed on your system- contact software manufacturer for the correct version for your system" I spent several hours on the phone yesterday with an apple rep and they weren't able to resolve it either. They had my delete the itunes that I had just downloaded, turn off my internet protection and try downloading the same one again. It downloads, it just won't install afterwards. When that did not work either, she had me try installing the standard 32 bit version, still nothing. Then she had me install the older itunes 9.2 to see if that would install and then I could just update it afterwards, but that would not install either after downloading. I tried restarting my computer and then downloading it again, same issue. I've been using the newest version of Firefox, but I tried downloading and installing it in IE. Same issue. Tried IE w/out internet protection, same issue. As a last resort I saved the itunes installation from my old laptop on a flash drive and tried to install it on my new laptop from the flash drive and it almost seemed like it would work, it started the installation wizard, but after a minute it stopped and said that it was a 32bit version and that I needed the 64 bit version for my system. That is actually the farthest I had gotten with any of my tries. It would not even get to the installation box with any of the other tries!!! If any one knows a solution for this, I would be so greatful!!! I tried the tips from past discussions and it did not resolve it. HELP!!!

Can't install iTunes on new Dell laptop

I bought a Dell laptop running Windows 7. I can download but not install iTunes. I have tried turning off the pop-up blocker and suspending Norton Antivirus' firewall. Any suggestions? I can't access my full iTunes account that shows previous purchases. And when I plug in my iPod Touch and my new iPad, the computer recognizes them but nothing happens with the iTunes website.

Are you using Internet Explorer for the download?
If so, fingers crossed the following documents might be of some assistance:

If no joy there, try switching off any pop-up blockers or web accelerators you may have running. (They can also interfere with downloads in this sort of way.)

Can't install iTunes on new notebook with windows 8.1

First, sorry for my bad english, i hope you can understand what i am trying to say.
I got a new notebook and wanted to install iTunes. First it worked but then i needed to do a system restore because of a virus.
So iTunes was no longer on my notebook and i tried to reinstall it, but it does not work. I always get "try to install new, ERROR 7 (Windows error 5).
I searched through many communities and tried things like activating the Microsoft Frame Network or manual deinstalltion, restarting the computer, ...

Can't Install iTunes 10.3.1 on Windows 7

When I try to install itunes on Windows 7, I recieve an error message that says "Could not access network location %APPDATA%". I followed all the apple support troubleshooting advice but still haven't been able to install it.

However, I keep getting the error as the itunes installer gets to the point of computing space requirements.
That one's consistent with disk/file damage (on occasion ... it's not the most common symptom of it, and can be caused by other things). So I'd try running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Can't Install iTunes 6.0.5 on Windows XP

The newest version of iTunes (6.0.5.20) won't install on my Windows XP system. The install wizard proceeds normally until the very end, where I get the message "The installation was interrupted before iTunes could be completely installed". Happens regardless of the internet connection (at home or at work). I've never had this issue before. Any suggestions?

Even though you're getting this when launching iTunes rather than the QuickTime Player, I'd start with the following document:

If you also have to go on to check the Compatibility tab for your iTunes.exe, make sure that no boxes (not just the comptibility mode checkbox) are checked.

Can't install iTunes 10.5 on my windows 7 64 bit laptop!!!!

I've been trying to install/update my itunes 10.4 to itunes 10.5 but every time I keep getting an error. I've tried reinstalling it, removing and or deactivating firewalls and anti virus software. running a system clean up, rebopoting my laptop, and removing everything apple from my HD and reinstalling it all back on and it still wont work. Anybody else have this problem? Here is the error message im getting.

Are you using the 32 or 64 bit version of iTunes. Also, double check to ensure you are running an x64 version of Windows. If you are running 64-bit Windows and 64-bit iTunes, it should work, but try the 32-bit one. If you are running x64 Windows and 32-bit iTunes, again, it should work, but try the 64-bit. If you are running x86 (32-bit) Windows, you will need to run the 32-bit version of iTunes.

I connected my iPhone 4S to my Windows 7 Computer to synch my music. My older iTunes said that i have to update to 11.1.2. So i tried to update it with the apple software updater 4 times, but it did not work. i also tried to load the files only and then install it. It says to me that there is an error code 2324. Can't Install iTunes 10.6.1 on Windows 7 64-Bit

I've tried repeatedly. The installation verifies, unpacks, and then installs to approximately 60% and then -- nothing. I can wait for twenty minutes and there's no further progress. Meanwhile, the entire system has slowed to a crawl and has become totally unresponsive. I finally have to kill the installation by rebooting the machine.
I've tried the installation both via Apple Software Update and from the download on the Apple site. As for hardware, I've got 4 GB of RAM, an Intel P8600 2.4 Ghz, and an NVIDIA Quadro 160M.
Any ideas? Am I being impatient? Does this installation "normally" take an inordinate amount of time? My UAC, by the way, is set to "Notify me only when programs try to make changes..."

Well, never mind. I figured I'd try one more time and it installed without a hitch.
