Can't install KB 2919355 and microsoft says must have the recovery media

I have been trying to install Microsoft's KB2919355 for at least two weeks. I spent two hours in chat with microsoft yesterday and they say now that I need recovery media because I have a corrupted file in my component services. I am running 8.1 pro. I don't have recovery media.,my toshiba laptop L875-s7208 came preinstalled with Win7 then I did the update from the free offer for windows8 through the Toshiba software center. I have no media....Can someone please help me!!!!

I was able to resolve my issue without having to do reinstall the OS. After spending hours on this and having Microsoft tell me that it was a bad image and I needed to reinstall the OS, I continued to look through error logs and the system event viewer and found that it was referring to an error coming from another machine on my network in my homegroup. So, I disconnected my pc from the homegroup we have setup, shutdown the other pc that was kicking out the error message, and walked through some of the troubleshooting again. and it worked. I was able to get all the updates installed and updated. Everything is now working fine.

You can do it either using Boot Camp or by running a virtual machine, such as Parallels Desktop (which I use) or VMFusion. I prefer the VM method, as I don't have to reboot using the handful of Windows applications that I use. And I can access my Windows apps just as I do my Mac apps - copy and paste between them, etc.
I just upgraded from Parallels 7 to 8 and I'm quite happy with it, running Mountain Lion on a late 2011 MBP with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. I also have a 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display and there are no problems with video drivers, etc.
If I were you - unless I needed every inch of performance that running Boot Camp can bring - I'd go with a VM to run Windows. I can attest to the functionality of Parallels - perhaps others with experience with other VMs will chime in.

Premier Elements will not start (needs latest graphic drivers) and HP says I have the latest drivers

AMD says I don't have the latest, but I need to download the latest from HP - and HP says I have the latest.
Is my only option to return the Premier and Photoshop Elements 12?
Is there an alternate mode that allows Premier Elements to work with somewhat older drivers with some degradation in rendering speed?
Is Premier Elements only intended for the latest computers? My laptop is 1.5 years old.

What is your situation with regard to working in the Premiere Elements 12 workspace Expert, Quick, Expert Guided, or Quick Guided? Are the displays and editing opportunities all functioning at this time?
As for the Elements Organizer thumbnail display of your video....how did you import that file into the Elements Organizer..
a. did you import the video via the Editor workspace and then let the video be automatically placed in the Elements Organizer
or
b. did you import the video in the Elements Organizer via the Elements Organizer's File Menu/Get Photos and Videos from...
What are the video and audio compressions and file extension for this video with the blank Elements Organizer thumbnail?
The first thing to try is deleting the video from Elements Organizer. Then importing the video into a Premiere Elements 12 Expert project to get it into the Elements Organizer by the automatic route.
Do not forget to right click the Elements Organizer thumbnail and select Update Thumbnail when you see the thumbnail blank (no trace of the first frame of the video).
I am trying these non-chip routes right now to get them rule in or out. We could add creating a new catalog and deleting the Elements Organizer setting file, but let us see how you do on the rest in this post.
From what you wrote, it sounded like Adobe Help took you a long way and got Premiere Elements 12 working, for everything but the Elements Organizer thumbnail playback. Give them another chance when it comes to the chips on this. Ask for a supervisor if necessary.
Based on your expected reply to the questions and suggestions above, I think it practical to pursue the above rather than switch to another program at this time.

Since all Adobe software is downloadable as a free trial, the Serial Number is what you are purchasing, and it identifies itself with YOU (IF you register your purchase, that is).
Moral of the story: "always keep your original software materials."

I just created my ichat account and it says i have the wrong password

I just made my ichat account . After i made a user name and password it said i was offline. When i go to switch to online it tells me that i can't login because my password or login ID is incorrect. I went to keychain access and verified my password and lock it in the changes but it still tells me i have the wrong password.

If this was an @mac.com name you made was the password longer than 16 characters ?
The Apple web site for @mac.com registration encorages longer passwords but they have to be read by the AIM servers and they can only manage a max of 16 characters

Just installed DW trial and it says I have one use left?!

So I've been having troubles getting the CS4 DW trial to work. It would crash at the loading screen. Every other CS4 app works fine. I finally figure out the problem, which was Acer e-Security software. So I uninstall that and reinstall CS4 and uninstall my old copy of MX (which works perfectly). I fire DW cs4 up. it works and then tells me that I have one use left....what is going on? Can someone help me out? All I want to do is try the darn thing for 30 days to see if I want to upgrade. AT this point, I'm considering not doing so. I shouldn't have to go to this much trouble.

Don't know if this would make a difference if you try and start DW after the update. I couldn't find anything in the technotes about CS4 expiring sooner than the 30 days. There was a problem with DW8 doing so, but haven't heard about it for CS4.

Apply CC updates, restart, and CC says I have the same updates again

I have one computer that just refuses to apply updates.
They don't fail, they say their installed/updated. But when I restart the computer, the same 21 updates keep coming back up.
Any ideas?

Here is the solution to this issue:
Go to:
~/Library/Application support/Adobe.
And delete the AAM updaterInventroy, AAMUpdater or anything similar
open the OOBE folder and delete the opm.db file.
Then Go To:
/Library/Application support/Adobe.
delete the AAM updaterInventroy, AAMAdobeUpdater or AAMUpdaterInventory
open the OOBE folder and delete the opm.db file.

Software, as in applications, maybe. Software as in Operating System, heck no. We're now at 10.8 level, you're two levels behind. Latest iPhoto, as in v9.3.2, is part of iLife'11 and needs a minimum of Lion 10.7 to run.
Since Mountain Lion 10.8 came out, Apple has dropped support for Snow Leopard 10.7, since they only maintain the latest two versions of the OS. So you will be seeing more and more of these "unupgradeable upgrades" in the coming days.

Look for the unwanted SMTP (outgoing mail) account in the window that opens. Double-click it. Another window will open, showing a list of all the outgoing mail accounts. The unwanted one will be selected. Click the minus-sign button to delete it, then click OK.
If there's more than one unwanted account, repeat.

Was this purchased for an Organization or was it purchased as an off the shelf product? The installer were different for a Retail ( Single user) compared to Business use product at that time. If this was purchased for Business use, I would request you to try and login to Licensing website using the Adobe ID of the purchaser and check if the download link is available or not.

I am trying to make copies on my C6180 all in one printer and it says I have the wrong paper size and then spit the paper out. Paper size is correct. What is wrong.....this just started happening and nothing has changed on our computer.

For further assistance, I will need to know:
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, Ethernet, or USB.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.

If you don't have an Installer disk then you can't install without a purchase. Do you have the grey SystemRestore disks that came with your Mac? It's on that. No, iPhoto is not part of Lion.

You know for statement FOR ALL ENTRIES in where clause data type and length should be match.
As per my understanding ,here GT_citem-werks is a string. But you know data type of WERKS_D is char with lencth 4.
Use the below select statement.
SELECT matnr werks
       from marc
       into table GT_marc
       for all entries in GT_citem
       where matnr = GT_citem-article and werks = GT_citem-werks+0(4).
