Can't install Muse CC - error says beta version is already installed?

I can't find the app anywhere on my computer but the error I'm getting during install in that a "beta version of this product exists on the computer. Please quit and uninstall that version before continuing"
Anyone else getting this error?

Refer to the following article on uninstalling Muse - http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/kb/uninstall-muse.html.
If it isn't installed and if that is a Mac machine, use the Spotlight to search for anything Muse related and remove. Look into the Trash folder too to find any instances of the app.
Most likely you're trying to install Muse using the CC Application Manager and as Muse is an Air application, there are certain limitations in how we interact with the Application Manager that can cause these types of conflicted states. Refer to the following thread for more about this - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1253307.
Also include external drives in your search for an old version of Muse. You can attempt to install the app using the installer found here as well (another thread for reference <http://forums.adobe.com/message/5052701#5052701>):

You could use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool as well that helps resolve installation problems and can clean up install records for any pre-release (beta) installations of these products (download links at the bottom) - http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

I tried to install the new version 1.1.4. But I can't, because the installer tells me, that a newser version is already installed on my computer. In InDesign I can't work with the FolioBuilder, cause he tells me, there's a newer version o_O

It definitely sounds like you had installed the "hotfix" which was targeted for a limited number of users. To confirm, please sign out of the Folio Builder Panel and you should see a light gray version string = "11.3.2.20110823_m_663362" near the bottom...
Okay if this is the case, you'll now need to apply the update required for the Folio Builder Panel v1.1.4 by performing the following:
Uninstall “Adobe Folio Builder panel for InDesign CS5.5” (or CS5) (It’s in /Application/Utilities/Adobe Installers on the Mac and Add/Remove Programs in Windows)
Install the 1.1.4 Folio Builder Panel only for InDesign CS5.5 (or CS5) installer

Trying to install Acrobat trial - error says "This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured."

Any idea what the problem might be? I have tried several browsers. The Download works fine but when I launch it I get the error:

Need to install for but mac says that firefox is already installed and I cannot find it.

I am trying to install TOR (had many moons ago and thought I closed it). It says that firefox is already running and I can't open it twice. Possibly I have firefox and possibly I don't. I cannot find it anywhere, nothing to drag to the trash. I want to reinstall it after, but I can't find it anywhere in my computer. I just get the warning when I try to install TOR.

I can't start Muse (Enexpected error I-200). It asks me to log in, then I get this.
I changed passwords, but that didn't help. Other apps work fine.
I *really* need to use Muse today so I'm kind of stressing out about it.
Adobe's overly obfuscated "support" system isn't helping one jot.

Unable to install Flash Builder Premium: a beta version exists on this computer

Hi,
I'm a user of Flex since version 2 and i'm still currently using it everyday. Some days ago I uninstall Flash Builder Premium 4.7 because i did a mess installing some external packages so I dedided to uninstall it and install everything from scratch.
The problem is that installing using Creating Cloud on my iMac, I always receive the same error: "a beta version exists on this computer".
I have already used the "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool" and I removed the "Adobe Flash Builder" having the same icon as the other applications installed by Creative Cloud and now I have another "Adobe Flash Builder" with a slightly different icon but I'm scared to use it because waiting to repair Flash Builder 4.7 I'm using Flash Builder 4.6 and I cannot think I cannot work because Flash Builder is not working (I use it every day !).
I removed Flash Builder 4.7 using the uninstaller, so the uninstalled didn't completed its job.
On the machine I have currently installed Flex Builder 3, Adobe Flash Builder 4.6, Adobe Gaming SDK 1.0 (no uninstaller for it !), Adobe Flash C++ Compiler (no uninstaller for it too!).
So, the question is, where I can find the log file containing the reason of the error message ? I have already checked the followimg folders:
\Library\Logs\Adobe\Installer: I cleaned the folder and the error happens before a file is created in this folder
\Users\<my account>\Library\Logs: it seems that the error isn't logged here
Please help me, I need to use Flash Builder 4.7 for a presentation I have to do next Wednsday (almost 2 years of working !!!)

Please search for Flash Builder in Spotlight and if find simply uninstall it or delete the folders containing the software.

Problems installing Download! for PC Beta Version ...

I am trying to install Download! for PC beta version 1 onto my PC. But it brings up an error message saying
"Install Nokia PC Suite version 6.82.21 or later before installing Nokia Download!". Then it quits.
However I have PC Suite 6.85.14.1 already installed.
Has anyone else seenthis or am I doing something wrong.

I had the same problem and tried unsuccessfully several times to install this update though the software update. I did download and install in manually, and it worked with no problems. Try updating the Media Player while using Internet Explorer. The Windows Updates site uses ActiveX to perform its' functions. Firefox doesn't support ActiveX.
