Can't install new update.......

For about a week I've been trying to install the new itunes version 7.0.2.16, i have the previous itunes installed right now but when im installing it a message pops up and says, the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable, click ok to try again, or enteran alternate path to the folder containing the installation package'itunes.msi' in the box below.
Someone please help me and tell me what to do.

First, run the disk utility and repair harddrive and permissions.
Then download the 10.5.4 combo update from here:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/macosx1054comboupdate .html
and apply it.
If that is too large, there is a smaller one that will probably work here:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/macosx1054update.html
There is no problem re-applying an update again.
In most cases, this fixes any issues caused by a bad install.

I can't install software update on my iMAC 24 10.5.4 . After restars indicator of install process is freese and compunert doesnot responde. After reset computer is working normal, but update is not install. other updates install normal

I can't install the software updates. They say there is an error. What should I do?

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select "/var/log/install.log" from the file list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, start over and note the time. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.

Several times a month, when I go to open Firefox, it says "wait installing new updates". After they are installed, Firefox won't open, it says "page not found." I have to then reload Firefox. How can I stop these updates?

Before Firefox open the little window opens saying"wait installing new updates." Then after when opening Firefox, my home page says "can't find this page. Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. Since 28th December I can't install new apps and can't update my newspaper. How can this problem be solved?

I can't update my newspaper "Welt HD", nor can I install new apps from the app store.
When I try to install an app, only new Icon shows up and is showing "waiting" forever. When I tried to update my newspaper, it only shows "loading" forever.
When my iPad connects to the W-LAN, for a sudden I have IP Traffic in downstream. When I turn off my iPad, the traffic goes away.
I tried to turn off and reset my iPad several times with no result.

All updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

yes you need the updates and patches.
Only some of the drivers that Windows will automatically install at times
and always make sure to insure it is using restore points
do all the maintenance andsuch as normal
use MS Security Essentials for AV is really top notch
Clean disk space
Use WinClone new program to inisure you have a restore image

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again.

Thank you very much for your help. Now, I was able to install the update (Adobe Photoshop 12.0.4 update for Adobe Photoshop CS5, Mac). But I couldn’t mark the answer as correct. I didn’t find the „correct“ button.

OK, here's the Windows version of the update:
Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop 12.0.4 update for Adobe Photoshop CS5
and for Mac:
Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop 12.0.4 update for Adobe Photoshop CS5
Of course, ignore the idiotic recommendation that appears there to try to use Help > Updates. We already know that doesn't work.
