Can't install Reader v9.3.0 from PSE DVD-ROM disc in Windows 7

I recently purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements, which includes Adobe Acrobat Reader v9.3.0 on the DVD-ROM. When I first installed Photoshop Elements, I was able to successfully install Reader v9.3.0 onto my system, and it ran fine under Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. But, then I was trying to install it directly to my flash drive so that I'll have a working copy of Reader v9.3.0 wherever I go (I had done this previously, but I'm not sure if it was v9.3.0 or not).
When I was unable to successfully run the installer, I figured it was because Reader was already installed on my system, so I uninstalled it in order to run the installer and install it onto my flash drive, then I was planning to reinstall it onto my system (hard drive).
What exactly I am experiencing is this: I am able to initiate the installation and bring up the processing screen. The ticker bar tracks up to “99.90%” before it closes (or disappears). Then, nothing happens. I wait for several minutes, and still, nothing happens.

Reader 9 won't run from a flash drive (not even a U3 drive). Believe me I've tried it.
There are portable PDF readers out there. The best and one I use is Foxit http://www.snapfiles.com/get/FoxitReaderU3.html

I will try, if Foxit Reader 2.0 for U3 starts without installing from CD/DVD .
It looks, that Adobe doesn't have U3 Version of a PDF Viewer for Windows.

Can't Install Boot Camp 2.1 from Leopard DVD

I've just installed Vista 64-bit on a separate hard drive in my 2007 Mac Pro.
When I run Boot Camp from the Leopard DVD, the installation finishes, but then I get the following 2 errors: "Key Agent (Mac HAL) service failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services".
After hitting "Finish", Boot Camp is not installed.
What's up with this?

I want to buy Mac OS X Lion and install it on my macbook. I am using OS X Tiger 10.4.11. The problems is that it seems that in order to instal OS X Lion it is necessary to have the last version of OS X 10.5 (Snow Leopard).
So the question is, Can I install Max OS X Lion from Tiger 10.4.11? If so, how can I do it?

The new machine has Mavericks which is fine. And I will leave it as is. I don’t want anything from my old machine other than 2 apps that I will need on the new one. I want to be able to install those apps that I bought from the App Store onto my new computer. I assume Apple doesn’t want me to have the apps installed on 2 machines at the same time so I wonder if just uninstalling them from my old machine will release them for re-install on the new one.

You can, but it's a bit difficult because you have to copy the Snow Leopard disc content to a USB drive. Hello I just inserted a dvd rom disc into my imac and I cant get it to eject or to read

try these steps to get the disc out:
First try the normal methods to remove the disc. Drag its icon to the Trash can in the Dock or select 'Eject' from the File menu.
If you are running a virtual machine, e.g. VMFusion, ensure that the CD is disconnected from the virtual machine. This will sometimes allow the CD to now show up in Mac OS X.
Shut down the computer and start up whilst holding down the mouse button. This may take some time, but keep your finger on the mouse button right up until the disc comes out or the log-in screen has appeared.
If you have Toast Titanium installed on your computer, choose EJECT DISC from the menubar.
Sometimes you can successfully use the eject disc button in iTunes even if the disc is not visible to the Finder
Open Disk Utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button.
Some Macintoshes have a paperclip hole that you can insert a straightened paperclip into, manually triggering the eject mechanism.
Open Terminal and type "drutil tray eject" to eject the disc/tray, and "drutil tray close" to close the tray.
Restart the computer while holding down Command-Option-O-F, to enter the Open Firmware prompt. Type "eject cd" without the quotes, and press return. The disk ought to eject. To start into OS X, type "mac-boot" without the quotes. Press return, and the computer will continue with the startup. (This will not work on an Intel Mac. There is no Open Firmware on Intel Macs. )
If your computer has an eject button on the keyboard, restart the computer holding down the Option key. When the startup disk selection screen appears, let go of the option key and press the keyboard's eject button.

In any case it doesn't matter. I returned it to the store where I bought it.
Rule #1; Don't use a product if the people who produce that product (software, hardware, etc.) don't properly support it.
User forums and\or chat lines, are useful and may help. But! They do not constitute proper support (not for installation purposes anyway).
