Can't install/sync apps from pc or appstore from iphone

At the first the home button wasn't working sometimes. just in cold weather worked. but everything was fine. after ios 5 update when I turned off my iphone it cant't open any apps except when synced with PC. after sync you can't sync apps (I know about sync and resriction a.d etc. it sync anything but apps) and I just download them.
But 2 nights ago I restore it for third time and after restore i cant sync/download apps and if I go to appstore and choose app fore information and buy option the appstore crashed. But I really don't use apps much. the reason i came to this forum is my ipod's iphone don't sync all of my musics. it change artworks and don't sync every music I have. And I can't stand any longer. Please help.

You need space. All games are compressed to save bandwidth on downloading, to install it needs 2 to 3 times more space. Also your iPhone needs space to function.
To summarize: you need about 10% space of your total capacity for trouble free enjoyment of your iPhone.
Can you use iPhone spotlight to search for it?
Do you have full 11 pages of apps?

If you installed Leopard that is why you can't install Mt Lion. The system Must be running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to upgrade to Lion or Mt Lion.
If you only erased the Macintosh HD partition then you left the Mt Lion Recovery HD partition in tact on that system. At startup hold down the Command+r keys to boot to the Recovery HD Partition. From there erase the Macintosh HD partition and then select Reinstall Mac OS X. It should then download Mt Lion and ask you for the Apple ID that was used to purchase Mt Lion.
The Reason Snow Leopard might not be installing is because of the Recovery HD partition. To get rid of that you must First Re-Partition the drive As One Partition. Then install Leopard then SL (Or Snow Leopard from the start) and then update it to 10.6.8. Once that is done you should be able to log on to the Mac App Store and Re-Download Mt Lion.

Syncing Apps from iPhone to iTunes with folder grouping

Hi,
I have close to 200 apps on my iPhone structured into approx 50 folders.
These apps are downloaded firectly from iTunes (via wifi).
Now, i want to sync them to my PC via iTunes.
I used the option "Transfer purchases" for that.
But the folder are not synced.
If choose Sync App options, i am afraid i will loose all my folders and it will really time consuming to create them again.
How can get my folders and Apps from iPhone to iTunes ?

Apps are transferred automatically (most of the time, that is!) during the backup that runs prior to the sync (unless you've disabled backup)
If you are syncing your apps, you will see (in the app sync pane) a visual representative of your phone, all pages, and that includes the folders. You will not lose any of them.
Like ChrisJ4203 says, you need to be syncing to the same iTunes library as your Apple ID on your phone, and that iTunes library must be authorized by you.

In your Mac, you have two Applications folder: /Applications, and ~/Applications.
The first one is the used by default and it stores the applications that are going to be used by all users. The second one is stored in your user folder (~ refers to the user folder), and you have to put the apps you only want to use yourself in this app.
First, open Finder, select Applications folder in the sidebar and copy all the apps you want, selecting them with Command key and then, pressing Command and C keys. After that, select Go menu > Go to Folder, type ~/Applications, and press Command and V keys there to paste your applications.
Finally, go back to /Applications and delete the copied apps, so only you will be able to access to those applications

How can I install an app from the App Store to all the iMacs in my lab?

Hi,
I'm using ARD to administer an iMac lab. I know how to install packages using ARD, but App Store apps require an Apple ID. I want to install free educational apps (not paid) on every machine in my lab.
Should I make a new Apple ID for myself as administrator, or for the school? Or can I use my own?
How do I automatically install an App Store app on every computer? Do I have to manually enter my Apple ID and password on every machine or is there an automated way, as with packages?
The current version of ARD (3.6) doesn't seem to have been updated with the App Store in mind. There should be a way to enter my credentials and automatically "sign" the apps, then deploy them with one click like regular packages.
Or, is there a limit to the number of seats that can run an app downloaded under one ID, even with free apps? In that case, how the heck do I get a free app installed on every machine?

I'm in the same boat as you -- except that I manage both a school lab (volunteer job) and macs in the enterprise (pay job). What I think we need is the Education Volume Purchasing Program

Unfortunately this all seems a little rough around the edges -- for example, I have found updates for AppStore apps on the support.apple.com updates download site, but then when I install them via ARD they don't actually update the software. (The AppStore icons still show as needing the updates, and the version info reports the old version.) The documentation is also vague about which AppleID to use in which circumstance. I think they just haven't finished thinking through the implications of the various procedures and policies upon the various kinds of customers. When we deployed Mountain Lion on the school lab, we made an install usb and went around and installed it on each computer -- and it appears that you are on the honor system as far as paying for all of the licenses that you install. We did! But they appear to have no way to enforce it.
So far, I have only deployed 9 Lion macs in my day job, and our "solution" to the AppStore showing updates problem has been to drag the AppStore icon off of the users' docks so they don't see them!

Can't sync apps from iPhone to new media library

I created a new media library for iTunes because my old library had become a mess. With this library open in iTunes, I plugged in my phone and had no trouble syncing music to this library in place of the old one. However, when I go to the apps tab, it shows the preview of my home screen with my apps on it but it doesn't list any of my apps in the left hand bar that would let me know this media library has my apps. How can I get this new media library in iTunes to recognize the apps on my phone and then my phone can sync apps with this new library and not the old one?

Syncing apps FROM IPHONE TO ITUNES!!!

The Iphone allows you to download apps onto the phone __from the phone__ but I can't find how to sync those apps I bought via the phone with apps in my Itunes library...???!~!!! It appears as though I will loose those apps if I upgrade my software version.

And after transferring purchases from your iPhone and confirming all 3rd party apps on your iPhone are now in your iTunes library, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and make sure all apps currently installed on your iPhone are selected below. Select Apply.
Now after downloading an app direct with your iPhone, the app will be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so.

Syncing Apps from iPhone to iTunes and back

I've transferred my apps from the iPhone to iTunes by clicking on "Transfer Purchases" That's all good so now they both have the same apps.
I've installed the latest ver of iTunes so ultimately it allows us to re-arrange the pages of apps on the iPhone through iTunes.
When the checkbox "Sync Applications" is unchecked I can see my apps as arranged on the iPhone, when I check it everything is different. That's not what I want as it tells me my settings will be copied from iTunes to iPhone.
What I want is for it to recognise my latest apps setup on my iPhone and THEN allow me to re-arrange it from iTunes before syncing.
How can I do this?
Extra info: This is for my MBP, I've synced it with my PC and I think that has the latest settings I'm not too sure.

As already mentioned, you can only sync to one computer at a time. To be able to go back to your computer, disable autosync in itunes, connect your phone and right click on it in the device list and choose Backup. Transfer your purchases the same way after that. Then sync your phone. All media content will be erased during this process, but you can restore your phone from the manual backup you made before. Syncing Apps from Iphone to Itunes and vice versa, quick question.

Hello, so I had a small question to ask about transferring apps from both the iphone to itunes.
Basically, I downloaded an app from the app store ON my iphone.
I've made a lot of progress and have a lot of data in this app.
The(Sync app) box was never checked on my itunes, so I transferred my purchases from my iphone to my itunes, and now i've downloaded a few more apps (over 20mb) ON itunes that I want to put on my iphone.
Thing is, when I click "sync apps" it gives me a warning saying something along the lines of "Apps in itunes will replace all in iphone, including data"
Now, i've already transferred my purchases, so all the apps from my phone are on itunes, but if I sync, will I lose the DATA in my apps on my iphone? Or will the data remain in those apps?
Basically, will syncing my apps replace my settings/data/progress of the apps I have on my iphone?

(If you try to delete an app that hasn’t been backed up to your computer, an alert appears.) To retrieve the app data, you must restore iPhone from a backup containing the data."
So, make a backup before you click the "Sync apps button. Then, you may have to restore your phone from that backup to reload the data.
