Can't install the configuration profile

Hi, I have upgraded the ipad2 to iOS 5 and created a configuration profile, when I connect the iPad through USB, I can see the install button but when I click on it, nothing happens, it seems as if I missed something! Even when I try sending it as attachment through my email, it doesn't allow me to install it, it just gives me the option to copy.
Is there any way to do it?

Is it possible one of the payloads is incomplete? I most often see an install failure when a mandatory entry in a payload is missing or has a bad value.....

Apple Configurator Can't install app configuration profile bug?

Hey all-
We currently use configurator to maintain 30 new ipads. We have updated the IOS on these devices to 6 and now whenever we install a configuration profile blocking people from installing their own app or in app purchases we get a "Can't install app" error message as part of the refresh process. I understand I am using configurator with a drastically changed device and the profile part of configurator hasn't been updated yet. As of right now the only workflow I have found that works is to
1.) Unsupervice the device
2.) Resupervise it
3.) Reinstall apps
4.)Install the configuration profile blocking app purchases.
I have to do this any time I want to do application updates...
Anybody else runing in to this problem?

I loan all of our ipads on a 4 day basis and I never have them all back at the same time to do that type of sweeping change. Before IOS 6 came out I could have changes waiting for an ipad to be returned and they would take effect then. Now if I update an app for one all of the other ipads we plug in will fail (If I'm not here when they are returned). This is a problem apple needs to fix and not something simple I can work around.
I've pretty much just stopped updating apps but once every month or so till this gets resolved.

Can't install the Java Profiler

I download the netbeans profiler but for some reason it is not installing properly. It seems to install fine but I do not have profile in the toolbar like I should. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Can somebody help me? Thanks

Befores it used to be under Preferences > General >Profiles. But I can't find it in iOS 6...

The iIOS 6 Users Gudie says it will be between Accessibility and Reset.

Can I export the configuration profile from my iphone?

C. Cruz was spot-on 1 year ago and remains so - I just did this using Phone View ( v 2.8.4 ) - and it could not have been easier - just like exporting/copying files in any other program - a cinch for even any barely-seasoned Mac user
(there may be other applications that do same now, but when P View first came out, they were the one and only, and at the time it was a gods-send (yes, godS for you BSG frackin' fans...) so my loyalty stays with them
plus, you can get at other individual folders/files = copy/export specific voice mails, texts, etc - So Simple - just keep your OS AND your version of PhoneView up to date and should be as simple as it just was for me...

You can use R3TR TABU to manually set the tables into a Customizing request (as of Release 46, into a SYST-type request).

To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder. Changing the configuration profile to rolled-out iPads

I need to change the configuration profile of all the iPads that have been configured in my office due to a sudden request by the management. It's a simple checkbox that I can just tick off in iPhone Configuration Utility. However, how do I apply these changes to the iPads? Do I just update the config profile in the config utility, and it will update itself on plugging in the iPads, or do I have to do something else?

I don't think this will be a fun experience...if anyone knows of a better way I hope they will suggest it...but the profiles, to my knowledge, can not be incrementally updated...they have to be removed and replaced with a new profile. We've found you can add a second profile as long as you do it from the same instance of IPCU that it was installed from ( if profile was encrypted), but I don't believe the 2nd profile will successfully install if it has settings that overlap or conflict with the profile installed first. I've been told, and I believe that Apple is working on resolving issues like this that affect enterprise users.....if a way exists to do this in IPCU with an incremental update, I'd like to know about it as well.

First up, we don't know what kind of MacBook you have so we can't tell you what OS you can run. You can use this instruction to identify which MacBook model you have: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1635. Alternatively, from the Apple menu open "About this Mac". From the window that pops up, click "More Info". This will open the system profiler. Click "Hardware" and locate the model identifier, there.
Next, you need to determine if your system can even run Mavericks before you can go about installing it. These are the requirements:
To install Mavericks, you need one of these Macs:
iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later),
MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later)

The MI424WR does not have a bridging option, and neither Verizon nor Actiontec support attempting to bridge it.
The desire to bridge the MI424WR is based on a misunderstanding that it is a modem as well as a router. Actiontec does produce DSL Gateways that have a Transparent-Bridging option, which bypasses or disables the router function and allows the Gateway to act simply as a DSL modem, when it is enabled. Many consumers do not realize that with FiOS, the ONT (typically outside the home) is the device that handles changing the FiOS signal from Fiber to either Ethernet or Coax, and that the Router is just a Router, and if it was bridged or bypassed, it would be a device without a function. For most Verizon FiOS customers their service would completely stop if the MI424WR was bridged, because the Video on Demand service is dependent on it to work.
If your ONT is connected to the Actiontec MI424WR router via Coax, the MI424WR is required due to the Coax connection. But if the ONT is connected to the MI424WR via Ethernet, then in most cases some other router can be substituted for the MI424WR, and it can be removed."
So it looks like I will be calling Verizon support to see about getting the Ethernet connection installed and getting another modem...

It says "can not install the driver: could not find media for this driver"

I am havin problem with sound in my Compaq presario V6406TU. When i try to install, it says "can not install the driver: could not find media for this driver", how ever i get a beep for every error message. In my device manager there is no UAA and in services.msc windows audio is started.
I have tried almost everything on net but not able to solve this, plz help.

Yes, I've seen a true SB0220 too on a picture after writing that comment so there is true SB0220 model. But, are you sure your card is SB0220? Did you look the number from a sticker on card board w/ serial number lik MSB022xxxxxxxxxxx where the SB022x is the true model number for your card.
Why you didn't got drivers installed for your card is, because the installer doesn't support the model SB0220 (supported cards are listed in ctcomp.dat -> this is the file ctcomp.exe patches).
IIrc, those drivers are the latest ones for your card. If you like to, you can try soft-mod your card the way, you can use Audigy series drivers (which are a bit newer) -> http://www.tech-pc.co.uk/audigy-2.php (i.e. you just use ctcomp.exe utility to patch the installer for Audigy drivers (use these drivers st - http://www.station-drivers.com/telechargement/creative/%20audigy%205.2.0.042.exe) (newer installer maybe can't be patched w/ ctcomp).
