Can't install update CS6, it doesn't recognize the serial number of CS5 that is installed
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Can you explain more regarding what the problem is? CS6 is not an update to CS5, it is a new version. A CS5 serial number will not work for CS6 unless you are installing CS6 as an upgrade and are using CS5 as the qualifying version. If CS5 is installed then its serial number should not be required for installing CS6 as an upgrade.

YoannWas the FCS on your old machine an upgrade? You will need to enter your original, full version serial first, and then you will be prompted for the upgrade serial number.

Make sure you have 24 digits serial. also let me know if you have installed the product from creative cloud app, if it is installed through creative cloud app you will get invalid serial number error

Go to the Apple website and your support profile. It should list that iMac and the serial number for it. You'll need your Apple ID and password for that Apple ID.

You cannot download any version of Logic that you bought on CDs.... You must reinstall it using the disks that came with the boxed set.
The only downloadable version now is Logic Pro X....which, like everyone else.... you must buy via the App Store... as it is a new version and there is no upgrade from any other version. -

Odd issue. Toshiba website doesn't recognize my serial number. Has anyone encounted that? I assume alpha characters are upper case. Serial number is 9 characters long with alpha characters at either end of string.

The Satellite A215-S7428 seems to be designed for the US market and if you need any information, drivers, tools or want to register the warranty then you should use the Toshiba US website!!!!

Hi Joe,
I can only see Acrobat 7 and 9 Std. serial numbers registered to your account.
Make sure you are using the 9 Std serial no. on the 9 Std. software installer not the 9 Pro else it will not recognize the serial number.
Moreover the 9 Std. license is an upgrade one so when you key in the serial number it will prompt you to enter the Acrobat 7 serial number, so keep both the serial numbers handy.

My iPad got stolen and it is offline on find iPhone, is there a way I can locate it get it back or even get the serial number of it? I'm really mad and sad about that.
The only to potentially find is if you can do so via Find My iPhone - which will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If you haven't already done so then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc, and if it's a cellular model then contact your carrier.
In terms of the serial number, if you have a backup of the iPad on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to go into Edit > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences if on a Mac), select the Devices tab on that, and then hover your mouse pointer of the iPad's backup : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4061

Unfortunately, no. The serial number will only help you file a claim with your insurance company and a police report. The IMEI number will help your carrier blacklist the phone so it cannot be used on thier network. But you needed to enable Find My iPhone on it before it was lost in order to track it.

I am trying to find at least the trial version so that I can enter the serial number that I have on the back of the case and activate the full version so I can get some work I need to get done finished. My laptop was thrown away after a flood in my basement and I believe the cd was still in it. I don't recall ever taking it out.

I was reading on the internet that Apple just made an iPhone 5 battery replacement program and that I need to provide the serial number to see if my iPhone cualify for the replacement. So i went to the support page where i found the link to the replacement program and just need to put my iPhone serial number and see if it cualify something that i was sure it will because the one that were affected are the one that where bought between septermber 2012 (the month i bought it) and january 2013. When i saw that "I already replaced the battery" I log in to my account on the support page and I didn't found my actual and only iPhone 5 i have registered in my products, BUT i have another iPhone 5 case open and 3 services to that iPhone 5 i don't know and its not mine. Thanks in advance.It's possible that if they serviced your phone before, they replaced the entire unit making you ineligible for the battery replacement. Have you had your iPhone replaced thought Applecare recently?
