Can't install windows on my bootcamp after getting a trojan

I've had my Mac for about ...4 or 5 years now and I love it, but I am a gamer. So about a year or two ago I partitioned with bootcamp and installed windows so could play an MMO. It worked fine and i've been very happy with it. Just a few days ago I got a Trojan on the windows partition. After being unable to remove the Trojan with just virus removal software, I completely removed windows from the system. I was concerned that the trojan would get to my Mac portion, but it seems to be fine and I haven't experienced any problems at all. Well, I'm trying to redownload windows and bootcamp lets me partition the system, and it runs completely through the windows installation, but once the installation is completely finished I get a black screen with just a blinking white line on it. It won't let me do anything else until I completely shut down the system. So far I've reached this screen twice. I don't really understand why it isn't working unless it has to do with the Trojan, because this is the same install disk and process that I went through the first time and didn't have any problems with. It gets really frustrating having the computer installing stuff for an hour or more and then finding out it failed! One time I even got an error report.
What do I do? Any suggestions or anything? I don't need to do much, I use my mac for everything except playing games. I never even downloaded office or anything onto the windows side. Unfortunately, my MMO's are not Mac supported. I'm getting really fed up.
(Also, I'm on a laptop and I have Leopard OS)

I honestly have no idea how I got it. I know most people's minds immediately go to....you know..dirty things...but I have never accessed anything like that on my computer.
I installed that thing - Malwarebytes? - and it said it found a few Trojans that ended up being in the same file as the files from a game site I use, Bigfishgames.com. So I don't know if maybe I downloaded one there? I don't remember opening any suspicious emails, but I get a lot of junk mail. I also think I may have gotten it from trying to download MSN Messenger, because the link I used didn't install MSN messenger, it installed a bunch of music/ringtone/picture/clipart toolbars and things like that. How do you normally get Trojans?
@dalstott - I completely revered the partitions, which worked out fine. My problem wasn't about that, it was about repartitioning again. After repartitioning, whenever I tried to install windows back onto my computer I would receive a black screen.
I guess for now I don't need anymore help, because my dad got it to work and Windows is now working again with seemingly no bad results for now. So I'm hoping this means the Trojan is gone and that it will work fine.

I don't know first hand if you can use the Remote Disk option with Windows but as of 10.7.2 you can now use BCAssistant to make a bootable USB (thumb drive or external disk) W7 installer with the Boot Camp drivers installed also. Have you tried that yet?

Install 7. Don't bother with applying drivers and such, just reboot again from DVD and install again, it will see the existing system and this time activation will be possible.
Vista is mess, takes longer etc. Hope you have SP1 version of 7. And for Vista, only SP2+ are even supported now, by MS.

Yes, you can. The type of storage on which you install is not relevant, as long as it is connected to an 'internal' storage control. Windows licensing restricts its installation on external/portable disks. Windows-to-go is the only legal means to do that.

You can run it with a virtual machine. If you want to use Boot Camp you need a newer version of Windows.

Depending on which Mac mini you have and your OS X version, you can install Windows XP or not in Boot Camp.
First, open  > About this Mac, and tell me what OS X version you have. If it's 10.7 or 10.8, you can't install Windows XP. Also, if you have a Mid 2011 or newer Mac mini, you can't install it too. In this case, you have to use Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox, and install Windows XP on a virtual machine.

I want to install Windows 7 (new valid licence, no upgrade) under Bootcamp on a new iMac. After pressing Install in the assistant, an error message follows: Windows-installation disc not found. The installation disc is in the drive on my other Mac. I've made a connection with this Mac. I see the drive and the disc in the Finder on my new iMac, and can browse it with Finder. What year/model is this Mac? If you select the first and second option, can you create the USB with a Windows ISO and BC drivers?
Unless you have a valid BC partition on your disk, the last option will not work.
Please post the output from Terminal of the following commands.

I have a 13.3" Macbook Pro that doesn't seem to like Windows 8. It did not previously have and patition/Windows side. I bought the full version of Windows 8 for $199.99 and hope I do not regret it. The mac does not have a disk drive, so I use an external CD drive aka Apple's Superdrive. I tried to Bootcamp, but when it was trying to swap to Windows, the screen turned white, then black, then white, then black again with a little blinking underscore in the top left corner. It stayed like that for 10 hours until I got sick of it and restarted. It did the white screen, then black screen with this time a message saying "No bootable device-insert boot disk and press any key." and nothing else. I restarted again, disconnecting the CD drive and USB drive. This time, I held down the option key and went back to the Mac side. I got rid of the partition and tried a couple more times but to no avail, so could any of you please give me some advice? Thanks.
I am not sure whether the problem is the external CD drive, the lack of any type of Windows, or its a weird glitch.
P.S. i went to the Apple Store to see if they could do anything but they said the software with the Bootcamp for Windows 8 wasn't out yet:( But i've heard rumors of some tweaks people have made to get Windows 8 on it.

If you want to use Bootcamp then Windows 8 is not supported as Shootist007 has already stated. There are no Windows 8 Boorcamp drivers.
You can use a virtual machine like Fusion, Parallels, or VirtualBox to install Windows 8. This may be a work-around for you until the Windows 8 Bootcamp drivers become available.

You can install Windows in BootCamp (it will be a fresh installation) and you can remove the existing VM installation. Windows will run faster in Boot Camp than it will in a VM (parallels is a VM).
Please note that MacBook Pro's have 2 ram slots, and they will both be occupied with a 2G chip in a standard configuraton, there will be nowhere to install the other 4G that is in the mail. Return it and order 2 x 4G chips and remove the 2 x 2G chips already fitted.

Make sure that the option to create a USB installation drive is unticked. Also, Boot Camp Assistant allows you to download the Windows support software onto a USB drive, that you will need after installing Windows to make the computer run correctly. You should do that.
Apart from that, you should be able to continue with the Windows installation. Follow the Apple's steps > http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/boot_camp_install-setup_10.8.pdf

Installing Windows 7 on Bootcamp after upgrade to Mtn Lion

Before installing Mountain Lion I erased Windows XP and all contents from Bootcamp. Now I am running Mountain Lion and attempting to put windows 7 on Bootcamp 5.0.0. I ran the disk utility on Bootcamp and it shows (formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with 35 G available and nothing on it.
When I begin the Bootcamp assistant gives me a message "The Startup Disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition. The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing witndow." I clicked OK and was able to download the support software. Once I did that I inserted the Windows 7 CD but the Bootcamp assistant doesn't let me check the install box.

It appears you did not remove XP correctly. Did you use Bootcamp Assistant to remove XP? If not then you have messed up your hard drive. You will need to reformat the drive and return it to a single Mac OS Extended (journaled) format. You can/should not use third party tools when working with Bootcamp partitions. Camptune does work to resize a Bootcamp partition but Bootcamp Assistant is the tool to use when creating/removing a Bootcamp partition.
