Can't join calls/group calls.

I have the same problem and I cannot get into a group call of 9 people. Microsoft is really slacking. I got info on the same issue on another article http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/Skype-does-not-want-to-join-group-calls-at-all/td-p/2954535 a year ago and I did the steps and I doesnt work for me.

Can't join XBone Group Video calls

My only choice when joining a group call is "join call without video". I'm unsure how to activate my Camera but i know its on. It works for other apps. When i'm in the call there is no video button like there is supposed to be. Everybody in call can see eachother except me and I can't see anybody. I can only hear them. I've messed around with the app and xbox settings but still no solution. Help?

The number of participants in likely why you can't start a video call. Skype for Xbox One supports 4 video call participants max. If it is 4+, you can only participate with voice on your Xbox One.

Can't join calls at all

Hi.
My skype recently automatically updated to 7.7.
Ever since I updated to 7.7 I can't join any calls... Well I can join a call, but it disconnects me anywhere from 2-15 seconds (my friends can hear me). I get no error notifications, no attempting to reconnect sign or anything of the sort. It just kicks me from the call and then moments later tries reconnecting me, and the cycle continues.I have tried everything I can think of. I have renamed my skype folder to something new, I've deleted DbTemp, I have attempted to downgrade to an older version (but it automatically updates to back to 7.7 with no warnings or background popups).
It's not my Internet connection, because I can load web pages, instantly send messages via skype and facebook,ect.
I have reinstalled skype multiple times and restarted my computer.
I also have no viruses on my computer (scanned my whole computer) and I have allowed skpye to bypass my firewall.
Please help me.

Can't Join Group Call

So with the new update 6.16 I no longer can join to group calls. Always when i click join call it just shows the persons who are in the call and then the call ends. I tried everything i found at forums none of them helped (I tried to download older versions etc.) So Please im getting really angry about this so could some1 please help me?

The subject, whenever I try to join group calls I get my friends' names, profile pictures, and a loading/connecting sort of animation shown in the attachment, and then I don't even join the call, it just closes and skype stops showing the people in the call. I can call my friends individually just fine, but whenever I try to join the group call, it doesn't even let me in for a second.

As I've said in that post, your ridiculous fix didn't work, and I have to ask call creator to close call for everyone and create a new one everytime I need to rejoin it.

Can't join group calls

since yesterday, i cant join group calls that my friends had added me. when i press join call it joins for a second and it hangs up, and through this second i dont hear anything. to join the call i need them to call me but the manager of the call is not always available to call me.
i have the latest version of skype, and i have tried everything i could have found on the internet.

Group Call Problem (Can't join + more)

Hello!
For a while now I have not been able to join a group call while it is going on. I would have to get the host of the call to reset, and call back so I could answer from the beginning.
As of recently (Problem started for me around 6/27/14) I am not able to join at the beginning of the call. Tonight I had the host restart the call, and instead of getting the popup notification for an incoming call, my skype application froze and force quit, bringing me back to the Xbox One menu.

We are experiencing a similar problem. We are unable to use the group chat or the group call function at the moment (and even person-to-person calls are unstable). Weare an experienced Skype user group and have regular conference calls on Skype, and we are stymied why the group call function does not seem to work. I ran the test (/get name), and our call is listed as being in the cloud (starting with "19"), so I don't know what the problem is. We'd appreciate if this problem was resolved as soon as possible. Skype won't let me join a group call

So I'm trying to join a group call and scype joins it to the point where i can see the prictures, but i can't hear anything, and then it just ckicks me out. I have tried deleting and ree-innstaling, running some scetchy cmd prompt **bleep** and allot of other things. Some forums say that i need to be friends with the hoster of the chat, and i am a friend with the original hoster, but i have no ide who has called up the chat this time. i have had this bug FOR MONTHS but just spam-joining has usually gotten me in the call.i have also seen other people complain about this problem and apparently it has been around for a long time. So apparently a problem that makes it so that you CAN'T USE THE PROGRAM HAS EXISTED FOR MONTHS AND NO REAL FIX HAS BEEN RELEASED; FOR **bleep**S SAKE SKYPE. Several of my friends also have had this problem, but as fgar as i know noone of them have reaced the stage where the program is unusable. BTW, i can still talk with other people on skype, but not the big grou chats. I have also tried downgrading, but apparently skype has removed all liks with downlaods to prevous versions so that if there is a bug that makes you UNABLE TO USE THE **bleep** PROGRAM you can't downgrade.
I might seem a bit angry, but it is summer, and i have been working for the past weeks, and i finally have a day off to chat with my friends and play games with them before i go back to work tommorom, but then i have to spen HOURS TRYING TO FIX A **bleep** BUG THAT THE SKYPE TEAM SHOULD HAVE FIXED MONTHS AGO.

Ugh, I'm having the same issue. It's been going on for awhile. The group has about 13 members in it but 3 or 4 people usually join the group calls. When I try to join I see pictures as if I'm joining, but then I'm kicked out. Sometimes it takes someone from inside of the group to call me and add me in, but even then that doesn't work sometimes. It's incredibly irritating that this bug is still a thing. I hope you get your answer soon. As of now I have none. Still trying to find a solution.

They switched me to Skype Premuim, can't make call...

OK, here goes.
I've had a Skype Unlimited World subscription for several years, a recurring $9.99/monthly payment. About a week ago I tried to make a call on my mobile and got the message saying 'Skype Premuim doesn't allow calls to phones, that I would need to buy Skype credit', etc....
Hmmm...what the heck is going on?
i checked my emails to see if a late May 'Your purchase has been delivered' mail had come in, and no, it hadn't. Hmmm...more wondering about what's going on. I did not receive any messages informing me of changes to my subscription, changes to Skype or changes to Skype Premium. i went to my account page at Skype to see that Skype Premium was active, but that $0.00 had been charged in late May. Hmmm....what's up with that?
I did read the 'Skype Premium' is changing, group video calls are free', whatever, but it still was not clear about being able make calls to phones, and that's all I've ever needed of Skype for the past couple years. i want to continue having what I had. And I have no interest in group videos call anyway.
What to do? There is no one to call and talk with, but I did have a 'chat session' with a support rep (automated?) who was not able to quite understand my concerns. it ended with the chat rep telling me I'd have Skype Premuim for free until next January. I did tell the chat rep that I just wanted to be able to make calls, that group video was of no interest to me, and she (chat rep had a female name) told me everything was fine, that i would be able to make calls as I had been doing for a few years now.
OK, I'm back on, right? At least that's what my thinking was. So yesterday i tried to make calls, and much to my dismay, there was the same message...'Skype Premuim doesn't allow calls to phones, you will need to buy Skype credit'....AARGH.
So that's it? You can not make calls to phones with Skype Premuim? Or you can, but Skype is having issued sorting it out? Would someone here be able to clarify?
I don't see any use for me of a Skype Premium account if I can't make calls to phones.
I see the world subscription is now $13.99 a month. I would have just preferred they tell me the subscription price was increasing, instead of having to go through this whole mess to find out things have changed. Certainly they should send messages to inform customers that changes have been made instead of having to dig around and find out on their own.

I bought a Noki 2760 mobile phone yesterday.
I can't receive calls. I believe I have closed the loudspeakers or shutdown receving calls.
I can call you and I can send SMS to you.
I tried in vain to solve the problem.
I have downloaded the English manual too.

Skype Crashes when receiving and joining calls

Whenever i receive a call or i join a group my skype crashes but it doesnt happen when i make a call

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool.
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.

Can accept incoming calls but cannot make outgoing...

So I've been in this one skype group for a few months, and everything's been fine up until this point. What's happening is that I try to call the group, which I've never had a problem doing, but it just keeps calling and calling and no one receives it. I can't end the call either, I have to wait until it finishes "trying" to call. I can receive incoming calls with no problem though.
I've also been having a small problem every now and then where I lag out of a call, and I know this has nothing to do with my internet because everything else is working perfectly fine.
I have Windows 7, do not have the latest version of skype because I don't like it at all... And I know that can't be the problem because the older skype's been working fine for years. I'm not sure what could be causing this problem now, but if anyone could suggest something I can do to fix it (without updating skype), I'd be really grateful.

If your facetime does not work and you don't see the facetime button when you try to initiate a call try texting yourself. Sometimes your phone company has deactivated your text messaging when you hook up your new Iphone 4. Phone them and get it reactivated and it will work. You need three things to activate facetime. 1. Cell phone service (naturally) 2. connection to a router (wifi) and 3. text messaging that works. A text message is sent to complete the connection.

Which phone or software can show miss call lists in separate lines/items/details (not group together from the same person).
I want these:
1. wife missed call me 9.00AM
2. wife missed call me 9.15AM
3. I see phone and see 2 missed call items in separate 2 lines and then I press clear.
4. wife missed call me 10.00AM
5. I see phone and see 1 missed call item.

Have you copied the inf file from another system and copy it to windows system directory?
You need to have that copied or you need manually each and every system using the server name and System ID

Both of those functions are carrier dependent so you may want to contact your cellular carrier.

Contact your carrier. Phone functions are a carrier responsibility. Have them check your account. Are you seeing any error messages?
