  • How can I reinstall Photoshop CC 2014? Help!

How can I reinstall Photoshop CC 2014? I uninstalled through Control Panel > Programs & Features after finding a post that said uninstall/reinstall would fix the problem that choosing a DNG file and selecting Edit In Photoshop CC 2014 does not work. The uinstall worked but I cannot find a way to reinstall. When I open the Creative Cloud app it says that Photoshop CC 2014 is up to date!
What is the procedure for reinstalling? Thanks.

The correct solution is described at CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.
I used solution 2 and deleted the OPM.DB file. When I restarted the Creative Cloud app it then recognized that Photoshop CC 2014 was not installed and all I had to do was click the Install button.

  • I can't execute Photoshop CC 2014 in my computer.

I can't execute Photoshop CC 2014 in my computer. Whenever I execute Photoshop, I saw the massage 'Can't operate programs because of some problem'. They didn't give any information What is the cause of problem. My computer version is Window 8. Is it related to Window version?

Did you get an error when installing photoshop? You could uninstall the reinstall see if that fixes it. Also make sure you are using the latest .net runtime, C++ runtime, etc. If these are not up to date, that could cause an issue. If they are out of date and Photoshop requires them,m then they should be installed along with photoshop, but if there was an error when installing, it is possible that they did not install as the script would have stopped. (assuming)

  • Renewed my Membership but can't launch Photoshop CS6 now without it telling me to renew

Just renewed my membership with Creative Cloud yesterday but now can't launch Photoshop CS6.  Got past the activation problem.  Now it is asking me to renew my membership.  AGAIN?

This issue comes when the Ps app not uninstalled but manually deleted. So when you try to download, it shows you that Ps CC is already installed.
Run the Cleaner tool to remove Ps CC :http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html . Restart your system and then try installing Ps again.

  • Can't launch Photoshop because Web update hangs

This question seems to pop up in waves in these forums.
If you can't even get to the menus, then temporarily disconnect from the Internet (pull out the cable), then launch Photoshop and set your online preferences to NEVER check for updates. After that you can reconnect to the Internet.
Your problem will be gone forever.
If you are using Photoshop 7: The last update for Photoshop 7.x was 7.0.1. Make sure you have applied that update. After that, there will not be any updates for 7.x, so you'll miss nothing by having your online preferences set to NEVER check for updates.
If you are using Photoshop CS ( a.k.a 8 ): Photoshop CS is set to NEVER check for updates by default.
You can always navigate to Adobe.com and check for their product updates you may wish to download and install.
[Thanks to Ramón G Castañeda for the above solution]

Have you tried dragging the PS icon out of the dock and replacing it?

  • I have downloaded Topaz and Nik filters . How can attach them Photoshop cc 2014

I have downloaded Topaz and Nik filters . How can attach them Photoshop cc 2014

I'm having a similar problem, but only with jpg's. I have PS CS6, CC, and CC 2014. Other image file formats function normally with regard to the "open with" list. PS CC 2014 appears on the list. But with jpg's only PS CC appears on the "open with" list and 2014 can't be added by the browsing for it.
The curious thing is that if I have any of the three versions of Photoshop open, click on Photoshop CC in the "open with" list, the image opens in whatever version is already open on my computer. This is true of all image formats. No matter which version I pick from the "open with" list it opens in the currently running program. I use only the latest version so keeping it open all the time is an easy work around. I won't uninstall any of the earlier versions lest more file association quirks result. it would be nice to have this matter fixed.

  • Unable to Launch Photoshop CC 2014 from Dreamweaver CC 2014!

Although I still have DWCC and DWCS6 still on my PC - and the roundtrip editing from within Dreamweaver works flawlessly - it does not work with DWCC2014 when trying to get PSCC2014 to open an image for editing.
All I see is an error message stating:
'Unable to launch - please be sure this application exists and that there is enough memory to run it.'
Has this roundtrip feature been removed in DWCC2014? If so, why?
It works perfectly well on the same PC with earlier versions - but I would like to remove the two earlier versions to free up space.

  • Can't install Photoshop CC 2014 because, you know, 42% right?

Well, my story is the same as the dozens of others who have suffered from this same problem. I tried to install Photoshop CC 2014 on my Macbook Pro with OS X 10.9.5. When it got to 42%, it stopped. I rebooted and tried again, closing all other applications on my MacBook. It got to 42%, it stopped. I tried again. It stopped.
I went to this forum and searched for help. I've done everything reasonable suggested by this forum: I've rebooted my machine dozens of times, I've emptied out the Go>Go to File>/tmp folder. I've reinstalled Adobe Cloud.
I don't know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi
I would suggest to use the Adobe Clean tool to fully remove the software
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Then reinstall the updated Creative Cloud application manager

Let us know if you are still having problems with the CC software

  • Can't launch photoshop debug

I'm trying to trick extension builder 3 under eclipse to work as a debug environment for photoshop cc 2014.  I
followed the advice at Adobe Extension Builder and Creative Cloud 2014
    to change path names etc.
When I try to debug-as a photoshop extension, I get the pop-up "a version of photoshop is already running"
although I'm certain this is not the case.  I tracked the startup process to running tasklist.exe, and found
that a task called PhotoshopElementsFileAgent.exe was running, and that killing it fixed the problem.
So my question is, WTF is PhotoshopElementsFileAgent ?  this is a newly rebuilt machine, and I believe
the only adobe applications that have been installed were done by the CC installer.  Certainly not photoshop
    elements.
Second, for the adobe employees that may be reading this forum, the test for photoshop running seems to be
    imprecise.

another unexplained speed bump getting this configuration to work.  When you run/debug
the extensions from eclipse debug-as menu item, files are copied from the project to windows
    c:\users\<username>AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions
the manifest file is copied from a hidden copy in <project>.staged-extension\csxs
this hidden file determines which versions of photoshop will recognise the extension.

  • Can't launch Photoshop from CC 2014 Desktop

I installed Creative Cloud and all the apps on my Windows 8 PC. I attempt to open up the app Photoshop from my start menu as it tells you too in the help section and I get an error message every time. It reads CC 2014 has stopped working. Then the app closes.

  • I can't select Photoshop CC 2014 when using the "Open with" menu in Windows 7

I have recently installed CC 2014, and uninstalled my CC version. When I go to a jpeg, or any image file in windows explorer, I right-click and "open with" and it isn't listed on my program list to open the file with. I click on "browse programs", find the exe file in adobe-photoshop cc2014 folder and click OK, and it just goes back to the open with menu with no option for photoshop.
Any ideas on how I can get it on that list, so I can open these files from the file location, instead of opening up photoshop and then searching for the file location within photoshop?
Also, I don't have any problems opening up the pictures from within photoshop, just within windows explorer.

I'm having a similar problem, but only with jpg's. I have PS CS6, CC, and CC 2014. Other image file formats function normally with regard to the "open with" list. PS CC 2014 appears on the list.
