Can't listen to an entire song in Itunes. Randomly just skips the song in different places while it's playing. Song file is not corrupted - even doing it on a new song I just bought from Itunes today. Help :(
I just bought a new laptop and transferred over all of the songs. But I checked the ones that skip in Itunes in another music player and they work fine there - the files are not corrupted - and like I said, even a brand new song I just bought skips. The priority for Itunes is set to High. This comptuer has very high specs (it's a Lenovo IdeaPad) and the processing performance never even goes above 10%. I am a Disc Jockey and this is a severe problem. Please help...
If downgrading to a previous version of Itunes is the answer, how do I go about doing that? I'm currently running 10.5

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

My iphone wont play certain songs that i bought from itunes on my phone, it just skips songs. Does anyone know how to fix this?
So i fixed it by converting each song to a AAC File or whatever. Made a dulicate song but it works, just right click on the song and hit convert to aACC File. For one album I had to right click view in apple store and hit download on the songs that were skipping.

I updated my iPod and it erased everything i had on it. How do i retrieve the songs that i bought from the iTunes store? when i try to download/buy them again they tell me i have already purchased them do i want to buy them again? I have authorized my computer but none of them are in my music now.
You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer. -
After installing the latest of iTunes the original files for almost 300 songs cannot be found for syncing to my iPod. The files are songs that were bought from iTunes, and copied into iTunes from CDs.
Apparently, security programs like Macafee and Norton view Itunes updates as new programs and block then from access. If you add Itunes to the list of exemptions, it solves the problem.

Need help please I just bought this iPad today and I factory reset it and then I plugged into my laptop and downloaded the latest software I went and purchased a app store card and a iTunes card but when I try to download apps it won't let me if anyone can help with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. You are right, Adobe does not support CS5 because it is no longer sold.
Simply download the trial version of CS5 from this Adobe web site and input your serial number.

When I click on the wrench or right click to customize the box, these are the options I'm given. I don't see waveform. I've edited in Adobe Audition for years, and see the waveform panels in all the Premiere Pro tutorials, am I missing something? (besides a brain?)

I just bought an IMac today and found on "about this IMac" that it is of late 2013.
1. Does anyone knows if 2013 refers to the release or production year?
2. I use an enclosed HD from my old IMac for the set up, upon completion, only my documents and calendar are transferred, emails, Imessages, stickies, notes, music and photos are not. From what I understand EVERYTHING can be transferred, am I right? If I am right, can I re do the set up process again ? And how?
ThanksOn Q2, simply connect the EHD to the new machine and you can drag and drop. If the EHD is a backup HD (Time Machine or a Clone) then you can use Migration Assistant to migrate the data over. Also open the Mac App Store and update the new iMac, 10.1.1 is out of date now. Update it to 10.10.3 and install any other recommended updates. You should check for updates at least once a month and install all recommended updates.

I need to change the home folder name. I just bought this mac today and my cousin put his name in because he had to back up his phone while we were still at the store so he could get a new phone and now my brand new imac says his name in the home folder. This is very frustrating. I would not have let him put his name in there if I didn't think you could change it. Someone please help!

What encryption are you running on your network? Do you have a router? If so, it needs to be set to a mode that will work with the 802.11b standard, since that is what the iBook's original AirPort Card uses. -

Hello, I have a jquery tree and want to create a dynamic action which should pick the id of the selected node (alert (this.triggeringElement.id)). Nothing simpler than that. The dynamic action is running on click of a jquery selector - I used li ther
