Can't load HP612c Drivers

I  just reinstalled Window 7 & upgraded to SP1.
I have a old Paralell port HP Deskjet 612C connected to a Print Server [ Linux ]
I am unable to Install the Drivers.
The Print Server does not push the drivers to my workstation
I have to manually select the driver
The DeskJet 612C [or even 610c] is not listed in the HP offerings.
It used to be there
The website does not allow to download
The printer is not USB capable [it's that old]
The NT drivers that came with the Printer won't work.
Any Ideas???

Hi, Dave.
It may be too late, but I found Realtek drivers here that work for my 845E Max-L under Windows 98.
HTH.
regards, Andy

  • Can't load mac drivers

When I try to load mac drivers I get the following message" Bootcamp X64 is unsupported on this computer model."   Windows installed properly except for this problem. I could run Microsoft Office but I need the Mac drivers to run video applications I presume.
I purchased Windows Home  64bit  and was told it would work on my computer. Should have I gone for the 32bit version?
My computer is two year old IMac with following specs: 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo,  2 GB 1067 MHzDDR3, came with Leopard but I updated to Snow Leopard version 10.6.7    Can someone help me with this?
    Thanks.

  • Still Can't Load GART drivers & AGP is MIA

    This is driving me nuts...
Despite my best efforts, I (still) cannot load the GART drivers which means DX9 is saying AGP Texture Acceleration is "Not Available".
I have flashed my BIOS with the current version, removed all the drivers, downloaded and installed the latest ATI Catalyst drivers and downloaded and semi-installed the latest nVidia drivers.  I say "semi-installed" because when I run the nVidia set up, the install wizard pops up, scans my system, and then shuts itself off.  So I wind up manually installing only the audio drivers via "Add New Hardware"
So, does it take to get the rest of the nVidia drivers in??
You guys helped me out earlier today, can you work some magic again??

note this for k7n2 delta-L with XP also using nforce unified 5.10 with out audio keys
for to large post here, use the nvmcp.inf keys for audio

  • Can't load Synaptics drivers in Dell Vostro V13

Hello. I've spent most of the afternoon trying to make my touchpad work as intended, but without any luck. The touchpad works, but without scrolling (of any kind) and I can't disable it with syndaemon, because it complains that there's no synaptic device available.
I did install the synaptic drivers. pacman -Qs synaptic output:
    local/xf86-input-synaptics 1.2.1-1 (xorg-input-drivers)
    synaptics driver for notebook touchpads
I tried both methods available in the wiki (xorg and hal), but none worked for me. This is the output of some (I hope) relevant commands:

I can't see anywhere a synaptic device, what I'm missing? I'm sure that's something really stupid and yet I can't realize what I'm doing wrong.
Does anyone can give me a hint? Thanks for reading.

  • Can't load Epson Drivers

I am not able to load any Epson print drivers from the Epson website onto my iBook. I reloaded the software using the combi choice, reparired permissions, and restarted numerous times. Still no go.
I have no problems loading the same drivers on a G4 Power Mac with the same version of software. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
    Thanks,
    Lou

I now have Epson drivers. I was doing something really stupid. I did not have the printer connected to the computer when I tried to add the print drivers. Duh.

  • Can't load drivers for KT4A-V with Sempron 2800

    I have a kt4a-v board with Sempron 2800 chip
256mb geforce FX5500-TD256 TV DVI AGP card
    also 512 Mb PC2700 DDR
Loading windows 98SE works fine until I try to load the drivers that come with the motherboard.
Windows will then not load in anything other than safe mode.

    Hello,
Memory module, 1 of them could be faulty but I know windows 98se does not like a lot of memory.
This website says it is made worse with large memory video cards.
    http://www.dewassoc.com/support/win98/win9x_512memory.htm
Try this then out the other stick in.
    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=304943
If you swap the sticks around what happens?
Here is a program that can test the memory.
    http://www.memtest.org/download/1.51/memtest86+-1.51.floppy.zip
Download, extract it to a folder, run the install.bat and it will make a memtest bootdisk.

  • Early 2008 Mac Pro - Can't load Boot Camp drivers for Win 7 64

Trying to install Win 7 64 bit on my early 2008 Mac Pro.  I downloaded the Boot Camp drivers 4.0.4033 and installed them on a USB drive but, for some reason, when I try the install them during the process, I get a message that my hardware is not recognized.  Skipping the driver loading process, I am able to install Win 7 but when the system trys to restart to continue the install, I get a message "disk error, press any key to restart".  Pressing any key does not get me anywhere.  I went through the Win 7 repair process and again tried to load the drivers with no luck.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thank you,

That article was also my starting point and I have followed those steps again and again and again. I haven't slept, I haven't done anything other then try to make it work for more hours than I can count. I came here for help because that solution is not working for me.
The region and keyboard type settings simply don't have the Apple keyboard layout listed. As I said, someone on the Fusion forum tried to follow the article's instructions too and he managed to get it working because he COULD run setup.exe (Boot Camp Drivers) on his machine, and I CAN'T. Yes, it is all explained in that article... but the drivers WON'T INSTALL, I get an error message saying "This version of Boot Camp is not intended for this computer model".
First you said it wasn't physically possible for me to install the drivers, then you said I should just follow the article. Well, the article clearly says "Install the Boot Camp Windows device drivers in the virtual machine" which you just said couldn't be done! I want to cry. I should have just bought a second laptop, this is too painful.

  • Updating ojdbc drivers Can't load IA 32-bit .so on a IA 32-bit platform

I ran into some problems updating the Oracle OCI client and drivers; I downloaded the basic instant client package version 11.1.0.7.0 from the oracle website, then updated my maven pom file to fetch the ojdbc5 jar file (11.1). Then when I packaged and deployed it on my tomcat server I ran into this error when requesting from the server:
    Caused by: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /home/tongz/apache-tomcat-5.5.27/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib/libocijdbc11.so: Can't load IA 32-bit .so on a IA 32-bit platform
This error seems to stem from version compatibility issues / permissions; however even after I changed permissions to r/w on all oracle related lib files and checked that my java version is compatible (1.5.0_11), I still get the same error and don't know what could be the cause. Please advise. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply Chris.
You're right. When I run file libttclient.so on the different client files, I see the version 5 one is 64-bit but the version 6 one is 32-bit.
Version 5 fie: libttclient.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), not stripped
Version 6 file: libttclient.so: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), not stripped
The SysAdmin says they don't have 64-bit versions. Oh dear! And the developers aren't keen on changing their code to use a 32-bit JVM.
Ah well, thanks for the response.
    Best wishes!

    Hi Charlie,
I believe these three drivers should be what you need. Did you try to download and install any of these? If not try these and let us know if that works out fine or not.

  • Can't load drivers for bootcamp

I have a Mac with the following specs: 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3. It came with Leopard and I upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6.7
I purchased Windows from Amazon unaware that the software comes in two versions 32bit and 64bit. I ordered the 64bit and was told by a couple of store clerks that it should work fine with my system. I got hold of a book by David Pogue on the subject and he recommends the 32bit version. I think he may be right.
Everything went ok until it came time  to load the drivers for the Mac. I inserted the Snow Leopard Disc and nothing happened. A message appeared on the screen that said something like  no support for 64bit machine?
Should I get the 32bit version of Windows or is there something I could do?
    Thanks.

Most of us on this forum don't use Boot Camp or MS Windows. However there is a Boot Camp forum where you are more likely to get some assistance. Click Apple Support Communities then type Boot Camp in the search field and you will be able to locate it.

  • Can't load drivers for Canon MP610 onto new iMac since loading Leopard

Hello, all you amazingly helpful folks.
Bought new iMac + Canon MP610 yesterday. Successfully installed printer on 3 Macs and a PC, and all was well.
Then--discovered that Leopard DVD was hiding in the box. So, installed Leopard uneventfully. Then--found that scanner wouldn't respond to any commands, and subsequently, I could no longer print from the new iMac ONLY (other Macs still printing fine).
So--I deleted all Canon printer-related folders on the new iMac, and tried to re-load the drivers from the Canon CD. MP Drivers won't load. Keep getting FAILURE message. Tried re-booting, unplugging, in all combinations. Printer still works from the other Macs. Maybe loading Leopard after the original MP610 installation confused things??
    What to do next?
Also--NO DRIVERS available for MP610 on Canon web page.
    Any assistance much appreciated!!!
    Thank you.

You may have already done this so forgive me if you have, but I would try deleting the contents of the /Library/Printers/Canon/BJPrinters folder. I would then navigate to the /Library/Receipts and delete the Canon MP610 xxx.pkg file.
Then control-click on the Printers list in Print & fax and click on "Reset printing system..."
Then empty the Trash, unplug the MP610 USB and restart the iMac.
Then I would install the MP610 v6.91 OS X driver. I found it via the Canon Australia web site (http://www.canon.com.au/products/allin_one_printers/all_in_one_printers/mp610support.aspx).
Once the installation is complete, reconnect the MP610 to the iMac and wait. The printer should automatically appear in the Print & Fax application.
Also, in future, you should be posting this on the Leopard printing forum...

"go" attempts to reboot, but I end up back in the same place.

It seems like the driver for that device does not exist. Since the system installed successfully it means that it S10 did find a disk. I wonder if that was a different disk than the default disk. Please boot to the miniroot and check the disk info.

  • Hard-Drive not Detected load sata drivers

Hi everyone I have a G6-1189sa notebook, I had a faulty harddrive so replaced it with the exact same drive 750GB WD, Thing is I could not save anything from the original drive ? so no recovery partitions are anything I even lost all my family photos and software.
Ok so I done a straight swap over and went ahead installing my fresh Windows 7 x64 disk, then I got an error message saying no device detected please install driver etc etc.
I know I need to install the sata driver for the harddrive to be detected, so I extracted the HP sata control driver to a USB pen the tried to load the driver, with the load driver option on the install disk.
Error message saying driver is not signed !!!!   So after some reading on google I learned I had to disable the naitive sata option in the bios settings for the harddrive to be detected.
Thing is there is not a option for this in my bios ?  unless Im missing something like an advanced bios setting.
I even went to the Intel site and tried some of there drivers but I get the same error message driver not signed.
So my question is ? how can I disable the native sata option if Its possible , If not how can I load the HP sata driver if its not signed.
Its very anyoing someone even said I have to slip the drivers in and make a new home made W7 disk myself to get my pc working again what the hell, where would I start.
Maybe I should put the laptop in the post and send it back, Ive never had so much trouble before making simple memory and harddrive exchanges.
Any advice please people Im at my wits end, my laptop is only a few month old and its now a door stopper lol

    Hi,
Boot into the bios and be sure that the hard drive is detected.
Sata drivers are included in Windows 7.
Return the bios to its default settings and use the HP Recovery Disks.  If you don't have the Recovery Disks then order them from HP. Order HP recovery Disks.

Before today, 31 July, I was able to use any website that require java platform and the applet doesn't have any problem loading.  For example, I could go to a bank's website to do internet banking and transfer.  Today, I couldn't.
I've tried many methods that I've come across in the web community but nothing is helping.
