Can't load message picture when forwarding

Sometimes when someone sends me an attachment such as a picture or video I can open it but then when I go to forward it on the forward page I see a ? and also something that looks like a lego block. This also happens when I sometimes get pictures. The pictures are all question marks.
How can I fwd an attachment open pictures without this happening?

if everything you say is true, you have a case-mismatch. eg, instead of my_picture.jpg, you have my_picture.JPG or My_picture.jpg etc on the server.

If you have MMS enabled on your carrier account and enabled on your phone you can send photos without iMessage.

I blocked something for pictures on Facebook and now can't see anyones pictures when they download them, how do I get them back ?

I didn't want to see some postings, so I was told to block the pictures on the postings.....after I did that, we now cannot see anyones pictures when they download them on to facebook... it only affects us when on our desk computer not our ipod.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions" (search fbcdn.net)
You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
* Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
* Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
* Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
* If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Since FF4 beta, I can't load FB pictures on browser. (I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times).

I installed FF 4 beta when it first came out. After running FF4 beta, I could no longer see FB pictures when I look at friend's albums.
I then uninstalled FF4 beta, and went back to FF3--same problem persisted there. I switched to Chrome, and no issues in that department. Have been running Chrome, thinking the issue would be resolved once FF4 official launched--I downloaded and installed same day it came out. Same problem.
I'm back on Chrome now, also tested on IE no problem there either. But would like to see if anyone else has been experiencing this issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, at least 5 times, while doing handstands, and backflips to no avail.

Can't load disk image when doing first backup

Hi
I've had to erase my Time Capsule's Time Machine sparesebundle as it had a corruption. And now I am trying to do a first backup again.
Unfortunately, I keep getting an error message telling me the machine can't create a disk image; I have no idea why. I have tried changing my computer name in case that makes a difference (but I don't see why as the previous name worked fine for a year or more).
Since trying to start this new process, I have noticed that sometimes in the TM preference pane that the TC name is given a Time Capsule-1 as opposed to its normal name of Time Capsule.

I tried to start the backup again, after logging out and back in again (as I had done several times before), but this time the sparsebundle loaded ok and the backup started properly.
So there's no need for anyone to spend any time on me.

Please help. I drop pictures into time line in iMovie 10 and they don't apear in the window I can't play them. where as video can be played. but when I move cursor over the pictures only green screen apears. Why ????

You don't have an iMac PPC. PPC is for machines that predate 2006. I've requested a moderator move this thread to the iMovie forum. It might not be until Monday that they do.

HT204387 Subaru XV can read out messages but when we reply, it comes up "there is an error in sending message. We cannot work out why.

My Subaru XV reads out messages received on my iphone without a problem, but when I hit reply, it comes up as "error, cannot send message". We have checked everything in the car set up and everything appears correct. We are wondering if we have missed changing something in the phone. Can someone please help?

This I have seen before...
It can be that the SMTP relay server is configured to only allow certain IP ranges or addresses.
It can be that the firewall on the SP server does not allow for SMTP traffic (normally 25, for example for Exchange).
It can be that there is an Antivirus on the SP server(Client AV) that prohobits the Timer service to send email from this server. I have seen MacAfee do this. Needed an policy change.
If, its the builtin SMTP service you are using, check this link:

Why do i can't load the picture into my Appliction?

Belowing is create a Image and draw it,but I can not display it correctly !
Is it wrong in my path;
if abc.java put into the C:\
,and the picture.BMP could be putting into the C:\images ,is't right?

2 things:
1) are you really certain that c:\ is the current directory at run-time? Just because the .java file is there does not necessarily mean that is your current directory. You should use /images/picture.BMP instead, assuming this is not an applet. Actually you should rather put the picture in your CLASSPATH and load it via getClass().getResource("/picture.BMP"), where picture.BMP is rooted somewhere in the CLASSPATH.
2) If this is an applet, you must use getCodeBase() instead to base your file name from, as applets cannot read the local file system.

Error message, can't load message(s)

Since I loaded Thunderbird onto a new Windows 8 laptop I occasionally get this message. The fixes I've found on the internet say to compact folders (didn't work) and to go to the email site--gmail in this case--and delete the message there that is causing a problem. It's usually a message from a yahoo group (embroidery related) but not always. When I delete the message there then thunderbird works properly again. I've used Thunderbird for years and never had this problem--with the same email addresses and the same yahoo groups. What causes this?

I tried that and it didn't make a difference. The only way I've been able to fix it is to go directly to gmail and delete an email there (today it was from Travelocity) and then it works again.

Can't load SSL sites when connected to Verizon Hot Spot

So I'm testing out a Verizon iPhone for my company. Great experience so far; only one dropped phone call!
Recently, when connected to the internet via the phone's hot spot, I'm no longer able to load SSL websites. A good example of this is logging into gMail. Moreover, I can load the Facebook login page, however I cannot complete login and I can't verify any certificates (or force trust or anything). Moreover, my company/personal e-mail won't load either.
Once I try to force the certificate, I'm taken to a Verizon page about enabling the Hot Spot feature (which doesn't make sense, since I can browse other sites just fine and the feature is already being paid for by my company).
Has anyone else experienced this?
The issue persists on all devices (iPad, other iPhones, computer), I've reset network settings, changed my hot spot password, performed a hard reset; nothing seems to work.

I really think it's something with them, but have you tried tweaking the settings yet on the MBP? Like MTU & such?
