Can't load purchased apps ipod 4th gen ios 6

My iPod 4 won't load the 'purchased' tab in the App Store. When I tap on it at first it says it's loading but then the app goes blank, so basically the purchases won't load. Anyone knows what to do?

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
-Go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and sign out and sign back in
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

  • What can i do if my ipod 4th gen got wet?

please help!! i dropped it in the toilet on accident!!!

Do not attempt to turn it on for a few days.
Leave it in a warm, dry, but not hot environment. Some people report success by putting the iPod in a bag of uncooked rice in a warm, dry, but not hot enviroment. Slipping the iPod in a nice clean dry sock first will keep little rice crumbs from getting caught in the headphone jack.
The rice allegedly absorbs the moisture.
Normally, you could cook and consume the rice after it does its magic, but in your situation I would advise against that.
Give it a good four, five days, then cross your fingers and hope it turns on.

  • What I can I do when my iPod (4th gen) will only charge when it's completely dead? It will charge up untill it turns on, then it stops charging, and the battery life then will only last for about 5 minutes. It won't connect to the computer either. Help?

    HELP ME PLEASE !

Have you tried the standard fixes:
    - Reset. Nothing will be lost
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
However, ou may have a hardware problem like a dead battery and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store may be in order.

  • Emoji Catastrophy (iPod 4th Gen iOs 6.1.3)

Emojis are pretty cool...except when it is the reason why nearly all my games and apps are crashing. I've never had this problem until the end of August. At first, it wasn't a big deal as emojis slowed down my iPod a little bit. I've realized that emojis have been leading me to problems because everythime someone types an emoji on Clash of Clan, I can't log on until the emoji is removed from the chat. This applies to games I own such as Battle Camp, Youtube, Safari, and all my other apps I own. Now this has became a problem as apps are less resistant to crashing and my iPod can even freeze! I've reset the keyboard to factory settings many times (and this was the way that it was fixing everyone else's problems). It only used to work for a few minutes but now it doesn't affect anything. I want to have a solution so I don't have to deal with crashing and freezing so often. Is there a way to fix this permenantly?

  • IPod 4th Gen iOS 4.3.3 wont update to iOS 5.1.1 (Not enough access privileges)

Today. I thought that i should update my iPod as my iPod was beginning to become obsolete.
So, i went to update, agreed to all of the agreements and stuff like that, and then a error message popped up.
It said, "There was a problem downloading the software for the iPod "<my iPod's name>'s iPod". You do not have enough access privileges for this operation."
Why? It's my iPod?! I should have all of the privileges to it anyway!
Im running a Mid 2009 MacBook Pro on iTunes 10.6.3 on Mac OS X 10.6.3
    HELP!

What are you/the iPod doing during those hours?
    How many hours?

  • IPod 4th gen unrecognized by Mac or PC, even after reset, restore, disk mod

I recently purchased an iPod 4th gen from eBay. When it arrived, it was working perfectly. It came with music pre-loaded, some of which I liked, so I tried several programs to extract the music. I ended up using iPodDisk.app, but in the process of transferring and deleting music I somehow mucked up the iPod, because iTunes demanded that I restore it.
Okay, fine. I restored it, only to discover that it required that I plug it into an AC adaptor to complete the restore! Fast-forward to today, when the adaptor arrived in the mail and I completed the restore. My iPod at first appeared to be back into prime condition.
Then I plugged it into my Mac, and nothing happened. The iPod did not recognize that it was plugged in, and neither iTunes nor PathFinder recognized it. (I tried opening Finder, and it didn't recognize the iPod, either.) I then hooked it up to my Windows desktop; no dice. So I tried a reset; no change. I tried forcing it into Disk Mode, and had to deal with the "Okay to Disconnect" message of death for a while before I could reset it again. Now the iPod seems to be working fine, with the exception of its inability to interface with any computer!
I'm thinking of ordering a new USB cable, as some of the casing on the iPod end has been stripped off, so perhaps the cable has been compromised. (Unfortunately I don't have another iPod to test it with.) Assuming the result is the same with another USB cable, what might the problem be, and how might I fix it?

I solved it myself by dropping the iPod repeatedly, from a height of about 2 feet. I just hit it hard against a flat surface whenever the hard drive starts giving me the Click of Death. As crazy as this sounds, it's kept the thing running!

  • IPod 4th gen's screen was glitching, now the screen is half white, but still works.

Hello everybody! I couldn't find the solution to my problem anywhere on Google so here I am and I really, really hope you guys can help me.
My iPod 4th gen has been acting up lately. Last night, the screen kept flickering and glitching. This happened the first week I got my iPod, but it stopped after a bit and it never happened again until now. I thought this glitching would stop after a bit, but this morning, I still found my iPod in the same state (if not, worse).
I think the problem is yesterday I plugged my iPod into my laptop and none of the USB ports could pick up my iPod so I plugged it into my ancient computer to see if there was something wrong with my cord, but my computer was able to pick up my iPod and so I left it there to charge. I also downloaded the latest version of iTunes onto that computer because the iTunes on that one was really old. After, I plugged it back into my laptop and it worked again. What I'm thinking is that maybe the computer did something faulty to my iPod and messed it up. I think that's what happened the first time also when my brother used my old iPod nano charger (had it for five years) to use it to charge my iTouch.
Anyways, my iPod now has a white screen in the middle and I can't see anything at the bottom, but the first half of the screen is still visible. Also, my iPod still works. I can click on apps, view photos, listen to music perfectly, it's just the screen is all messed up and everything is just super bright.
I've tried resetting it by holding onto the home and the on/off button but it doesn't do anything. I was hoping I wouldn't have to restore my iPod, but it looks like I have to maybe? Do you think I should let my battery completely drain and then plug into my laptop or something? Any suggestions besides dropping by the Apple store to check it?
    Thank you in advance.

I would restore the iPod. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults.
If still have the problem then you have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Happy New Year and help Please!!! IPOD 4th GEN won't Synch??

    Hello,
And, thanks for reading my question. I recently purchased an IPOD 4th GEN touch from Gamestop. I previously had an ipod that was stolen a few years ago. I had 2000 songs on my itunes and just haven't used it till now.
When I bought the IPOD I ensured that my itunes and ipod were using the most current software. However, it is not synching my music. It will let me start to synch and then go through steps 1&2 of a five step process before it tells me that itunes has encountered a problem and must shut down. There is no specific code it gives me it just asks whether I'd like to send an error report or not.
I have ensured my firewall was off. I restarted the IPOD and computer, and still nothing. Same error message and itunes shuts off. I have installed the latest updates to bonjour and quicktime, restarted, and still no remedy.
I was tempted to uninstall everything but am afraid of losing my music. Only 30-40 songs are in my icloud. I imported the other songs to itunes a long time ago.
Does anyone know how I can get these songs on my ipod? Thanks in advance for any help and Happy New Year to all...

You probably need to set up automatic syncing.  If you do not set it up, it will still "sync" but it will sync nothing.
In iTunes 12, select the iPod so that you see its Summary settings screen (click the "device button" on horizontal bar).  In the iPod's sidebar, under Settings, click Music.  To the right is the iPod's Music settings screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync your iPod.
Check the box for Sync Music.  This enables automatic syncing for songs.  Below that, if your entire iTunes library fits on your iPod, you can choose the option to sync Entire music library.
Otherwise, you can choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.  Then, select what you want to sync from the lists below.  On convenient way to set this up is to create one or more playlists in your iTunes library with songs just for the iPod.  Or you can use existing playlists.  On the iPod's Music settings screen, find and select (checkmark) just those playlists under Playlists.
When you click Apply, iTunes syncs your iPod with your selection(s) on the iPod's Music settings screen, and keeps it "in sync" automatically.

  • Spotify on iPod 4th gen - car connectivity problem

Hi, apologies if this is in the wrong place: (The low down) iPod 4th Gen - iOS (6.1.6)  When connecting via USB to 2013 Vauxhall Astra, the head unit displays song track / artist / how long the song has been playing for etc.  Problem: I am unable to change tracks (go back or forward) using the car controls. (on the steering wheel or the dash board)  I have got the latest version of Spotify and iOS available for the 4th gen iPod. As it is an iPod with WiFi connectivity only, I am playing songs that have been downloaded on the device.  the Apple iTunes player works perfectly with the car controls and this is the only reason why I have bought Spotify premium as I wanted to downloaded songs to listen offline and as I spend a majority of time the car, this is very important to me.  Has anyone experienced similar issues / know of any past solutions?

I havent come across the vehicle specific idea yet, but it's curious, what makes it different from vehicle to vehicle? As for the iPod idea, I went out and got a brand new iPod Touch 5, and its the same thing. For some reason, the controls will only change tracks in iTunes, and not Spotify. Im thinking that its only because the ipod/spotify app doesnt know how to read the instructions for the car itself. The most infuriating thing is, this used to work, then they upgraded the app in 2013, and something went haywire. I'm considering trying out the app, Music Control Plus, but I'm seeing that it might only be available on a jailbroken iPod, so that might take a bit to try out. Ill let you know how it goes!

  • My ipod 4th gen screen kept jumping this morning. Had to do a restore on it and it is working fine now. However, when I did the restore it did not load the Nike   app that was factory installed on my ipod. I use this app daily. Any idea how to get it back

My ipod 4th gen screen kept jumping this morning. Had to do a restore to factory conditions and it is working fine now. However, it originally had a factory installed Nike+ app on it and it did not install with the restore. I use this app daily with the running chip to log my workouts. Anyone know how to get this app back from Apple? Loading the Nike app from the app store is not the same thing as you need gps running continually for it to work (as with an iphone). Can't have that with my ipod unless I'm connected to wifi. Help?? Thanks.

If you go to Settings do you see an entry for the Nike app? There is no way to delete or hide that app?
Have you tired using the Spotlight search? Maybe you just can't find it.
Next would be to restore a gain. First from backup then next to factory settings/new iPod.
The Nike app you can download/install
Nike+ Running for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad on the iTunes App Store
Does work on the iPOd. You just do not get all the information that GPS/cellular connection can get. You will still be able to get distance/footstrikes like the installed app an you do not need the shoe sensor.. It uses the built-in sensors on the iPod

  • I have an old ipod touch, and have just purchased a new 4th Gen one. How do I get my Apps from the old one to the new one. I've had to wipe the hard drive on my Pc so they aren't in my I tunes.

    - Transfer your iTunes' purchases to the new computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
    - Try making a backup of the iPod by right clicking on the iPod  under Devices in iTunes and selecting Backup.
    - Connect your new iPod and restore the iPod from that backup if you wish.

  • IPod 4th Gen power button broken, game center and some apps won't load.

iPod 4th generation, iOS 6.1.6, power button is broken (will not click at all, I can't let my iPod run out of battery because I won't be able to turn it back on).
Game center, and some of my apps will not load.
I also have issues with apps and Safari crashing, but that isn't a major problem.
For the apps not loading, I've tried deleting them, and then reinstalling them, but it didn't work.
Is there anything I can do about this?

To reset the iPod without the hardware buttons,
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. All your wifi and bluetooth preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected. You will have to rejoin wifi networks and repair BT devices
For Safari problem try going to Settings>Safari and Clear Cookies<data and History.
To turn on an iPod without a Power button just connect the iPod to a charging source
